Emergency chains would not attach to my vehicle, I had to spend $20 on an additional chain to make it work. Also someone had cut the wheel strap on the drivers side of the trailer so it was not long enough to connect to the ratchet. I had to apply wd40 to the Rachets to get them to operate as they were rusty. Location and customer service was great. Just had the few issues with the equipment.

Rented enclosed trailer. Owner of business was not very nice. Anytime I ever rented a UHaul they were always helpful in hooking it up. Not this place. It was raining & were not helpful at all. They will never get my business again

The staff said they were not allowed to help me hook up the trailer. Every other Uhaul location I've used recently has not only helped, but said they were required to inspect the hookup and verify the lights worked; and some actually hooked up the trailer. This location did not do so. The 6x12 is a heavy trailer and I was counting on help hooking it up it to my car. Luckily my cousin was with, me but it was still difficult since I am 67 and have back problems. Have your rules changed?

I did everything online and nobody is familiar with those systems. The guy was in a hurry and didn't want to let me look over the equipment luckily the app was very helpful. For some reason U-Haul locations Feel like a front for something else

The cable for the trailer lights was cut when I arrived for P/U. But the attendant was prompt with finding me a trailer at another location and set the $50 refund in motion before I could suggest a refund. The second location was prompt with getting me a trailer and sending me on my way. They handled the situation promptly and courteously.

The issue was my pick up location changed, making it much further away from the site confirmed online. This caused me to have an add'l mileage expense. The requested furniture dolly was not available either. None of this was the fault of the pickup location, but rather, U-haul corporate or your on-line mgmt of the site....not good!

I ordered an appliance dolley and all they had was a short hand truck. So didn't even use that. It was too short and no straps. I didn't get what I ordered.

I called back to the office after I had gotten on the road and reported this as I felt they needed to check the rental history of this uhaul. I was told the owner would call me back. I have not heard back from him yet. There were ticks in the cab of the truck. I thought one was just an isolated incident. (A friend found it attached to my back) Then when I stopped for lunch - another one was crawling on my arm. It was a horrible trip to drive almost 3 hours with this situation. I would have returned the truck , but it was packed so much - I didn't have time. I advised the agent at the drop off location so it could be cleaned thoroughly. I took pictures of the cab of the truck as it had lots of gravel and dirt , etc by the gas and brake pedal and there was some dog hair on the back of drivers seat. Such an odd occurrence , but definitely unsettling.

Explain what a rental rate vs rental charge would be (advertised as $39.95 rate for the day specified) but on receipt a $79.95 “rental charge” is applied. Of course the move has been made and you have already used the equipment. They send you the bill and it's been charged to your credit card. Will look elsewhere next time. It's not the location, it's uhaul's way of doing business.
