I tried to tell the guy that I filled up at 1:00 in the morning with $100 off my credit card and it wouldn't take over $100. I tried multiple cards and nothing, kept saying it was full. So I couldn't call customer service due to it being so early in the morning. He then argued with me and said the gas was not right and he wouldn't accept it until I put gas in it from his pumps. So spent more money in it than I should have. Never again will I return to this location.KAITLYN B.

I paid for an appliance dolly and a pack of furniture pads that were not ready or available. When I called about this I was told to go to another location, pay to rent them again, and I would get a refund upon return. Upon return I was told I had to call and put in a work order.Matthew L.

Due to an increase in demand my original reservation was delayed and I had to get a larger vehicle than requested. The employees at the corporate phone number were extremely helpful in finding me something but the employee at the sunoco was extremely rude, racist and did not even go over the paperwork or the information about the truck I was renting with me. After waiting for an hour while the uhaul rep over the phone fixed the charges, he just handed me the key and told me to go. I had to check all the trucks outside to see which one the key fit. The vehicle still had cups and cigarette butts from the previous user and the gas tank was lower than indicated on the pre-generated paperwork.SARAH A.

Clean the truck. Don't have the bumper falling off the truck. The gas gauge wouldn't increase after putting gas in it the first time so I was forced to put $17 more gas in the truck and then it started working and I needed up filling it up last where the level was when I got it. Overall poor customer service. Will not rent from this location ever again.Thomas A.
Rude non helpful. Couldn't speak English well hard to understand. If I would have know how bad I would have picked another place. This place needs costumer training. Also need a place for their supplies instead on laying on the floor that is not acceptable. Not good.CHRIS B.

The only thing i do not like is how you take a hold out and then charge people again. When all it would take is just adding the mileage charge to card. That way people do not have to wait for hold to come off. With the first card hold. Because of that i will not rent again from y'all when ever other company will just add the fuel charge to the hold. That why the hold is there in the first place.Richard K.

The person at the Sunoco station could not speak very good English. He was rude.. called a phone number and handed me his dirty cell phone to talk to rental agent.. no one from U-Haul there in person to talk to. The Sunoco guy came running out and wouldn't let employee help.. terrible place to pickup unit.Gerald M.

It's not that the personnel weren't helpful; they did not have a backup system to check my truck in Sunday night the 18th of April. The UHaul computer system was down both for internet access and dealer access. He was able to check it in, but had no way to give me a receipt for the balance or confirmation that it was in fact turned in.STEVEN C.
Location was fine the enclosed trailer should have been retired 10 years ago. It was a piece of junk. I have always got good stuff went renting U-haul but this time was different. It looked like it had been through wwii, Vietnam, and desert storm.Arnold H.

The return experience was horrible. The owner/manager tried to give me directions over the phone, because the one employee at the site had to stay at the register for other customers. They did not help me unload my car from the dolly, told me to park the trailer, disconnect, and then park the truck. It was a terrible experience.Brian L.

Trailer lights missing/broken. Also, was charged a full extra 3rd day when returning 50hrs after original rental. I realize this is perhaps technically policy, but I was only late because I went above and beyond in cleaning the trailer. Also, the proprietor acknowleged on his own that I rent from uhual a lot.ANDREW S.
They claimed I stole a dolly when I was never given one to begin with then y'all charged me for it saying it's missing equipment when I'm not even the one who has it! I was never even given the dolly and the clerk kept yelling at me saying yes I did. I would like a refund because I would much rather not pay for something I never even got!Chase S.

It's hard trying to conduct business with someone who doesn't speak your language. And I tried to use my card at the pump when returning it so I could feel it up. But he insisted that I use the machine. Well I had to swipe my card three times and after the second time paying 20 each... my bank reached me thinking. It was fraud. So I will not use uhaul ANYMORExavier X.

I understand we are facing a pandemic, however, there has to be a better way as for communication and for when it comes to reserving trucks online. The truck was dirty on the outside, as if driven on a muddy road. The trailer they issued to me was dispatched the day before, so they had to issue me another one. This one had a broken wheel strap tiedown and a brake/turn signal light out. The electrical plug was also damaged beyond repair. I replaced/repaired the electrical plug from a trailer sitting next to the one issued to me. The rep never came out to check/verify trailer hookup. My advice, get out of the convenience store business and concentrate on U Haul, like the place in New Bern NC, where I dropped the equipment. It appears they're building a facility specifically for U Haul. Other than that, I was satisfied with the performance of the equipment.Dennis P.

I did not appreciate when I dropped off the truck and I told the store rep that it had rained inside the truck. He asked me did I leave the gate in the back up. I was like the water is at the front of the truck, I said that is an irrelevant question and further more, I drove all the way from Atlanta to Valdosta (dropped off Sonoco gas station) with my stuff in the truck, how would I drive all that way with the gate up????? But, he was helpful and want to make sure issue was addressed.Kim S.

It was a gas station. The owner had to keep dealing with people buying gas, cigarettes, and beer. He had to call some guy to get information from me who sound like he was in a car on the phone. He kept making me constantly repeat myself because he couldn't hear me. It made me feel uncomfortable/threatened giving my information over the phone. The uhaul looked nice but ran like some old school stick shift semi truck. I will be utilizing a other location next time.Michael F.

Acknowledge the customer. I got there an hour early just to make sure I was on time. Had the gentleman even listened to me, he could have told me 2 hours later that the truck reserved for me was dropped off at a nother location. Because of the huge delay, I ended up paying extra help $300 just to get all of my belongings out of my apartment on time.Antoinette W.
