The truck and trailer wasn’t returned in system on time. I had to track down the truck and trailer and reach out to schedulers. I called the location and was hung up on.
Preston KMy contract stated I have around 740 miles and 4 days I turned it in a day early and under the milage in my contract and was charged for additional milage which was taken out of my deposite that also wasnt on my online checkout but in my in person checkout.
Bryan SI reserved a 15’ truck a month in advance at the Sultan Shell station. U-haul now doesn’t confirm your equipment until up to 5pm the day prior to pick up. I was proactive in contacting them to be sure my 15’ truck would be there. They said someone would actually call me 2 days in advance, never happened. Called at 8am the day prior and was told my 15’ truck was located 40 miles away but there was a 20’ truck there. It was a holiday Friday weekend and would have take me over 3 hours to drive 80 miles round trip. They refused to give me the same rate as the 15’ truck after multiple calls with management. I WILL NEVER USE U-HAUL AGAIN.

John PEliminate the need to contact 2 people by phone or a passport. These are ridiculous requests. You have my credit card and license and written contract. It took me 45 minutes to have U-haul mess with my app answers andI had to pay extra for that time. The local Shell station finally got involved and even he struggled with the u-haul site. One response was that a CA drivers license couldn’t be used. A second was that my license was blurry. A totally bad app experience
Mark SMy experience with U-Haul left me frustrated and disappointed. Despite returning the truck empty and clean, I was charged a $25 cleaning fee. This unjust charge, coupled with the company's indifferent customer service, has made me question their integrity. I caution potential customers to be wary of U-Haul's deceptive practices and lack of accountability.

devon wMy boys returned the vehicle and had to leave it after hours. The people at the Shell station didn't know anything, of course & they told him to do everything on the app. He did, but the app crashed in the middle of transaction. He did finally get confirmation that it was returned. I called Uhaul customer service today to make sure everything was ok. I had to clarify that I returned moving blankets & a truck lock so they knew where it came from. One more headache to deal with.
trish wThe guy at the gas station told me I could change my drop off destination if I needed to when I went to rent my truck. When I called customer service they said I had to have the store make the changes to my drop location. I was transferred to the store to make the change. The guy at the store lied to me and said customer service had to correct it. Getting ping ponged around I was reconfirmed I the store had to make the corrections. I drove to the gas station and the guy that helped me rent my truck s was rude. He gaslighted me that he couldn’t make the changes he needed me to do and even turned his computer around and asked me how to do the changes on his system because he didn’t know how. I told him to call for help if he didn’t know how to do his job, not me. Ultimately I had to keep my optional drop off location which made it a really long day for me.
