First of all, it took 30 minutes to get through all the online check in points only to have it hold me up. It kept asking for another point of contact ( I gave 4 total!) and still could not get past that. Eventually the office opened and a live person was able to assist. Then after returning the rental, I was charged $21.20 fuel charge even though I paid and put fuel in the vehicle before returning it. When I called the office, I was told I have to call 800 go Uhaul. Well I have been on hold now for 30 min with no live person to assist.SONDRA K.

Overpriced...... Decided to use a friends vehicle. Returned didn't use and still had to pay $45 will definitely look for other options before renting from U-Haul and will recommend the same to people who ask.ALFRED C.

The vehicle was dirty from the outside, and it wasn't clean in the inside. When I got to the location the reservation was not correct, although we were charge the correct amount, she did not have what we needed equipment wise. I had to tell her we needed an appliance dolly.Gloria J.

The milage was incorrect on my bill. I was charged more miles than actually drove. I took a picture before I left and then when we got back. The man there didn't even bother to check? He just said that he would send a final bill.PAMELA D.

I have used Uhaul numerous times but this was the worst experience of all. The location on Benton Rd ok. This started with me at my initial location for my pick where I was to log into my phone get the keys to my truck and leave (not at all). No one was available no keys no appliance dolly per my request. Long story short it took me 3 locations and fuel and time before I finally got a truck. Uhaul you are totally a joke when it comes to truck rental!Darryl M.

Show which business has "local truck rents only", to avoid surprises like "no available trucks to take out of town". That was dissapointing service, when I called to ask the customer representative didn't ask of gave this information, and yes they had the truck size I needed, but offered a larger truck only for out of town. I just thanked and went to rent at a different place. Thank you, JoseJose R.

was initially told I could not return at location but I had E-mail to confirm was charged for gas at high cost when I had already returned at gas gauge was at 3/4 full when pick-up had fueled up before returnedRamon R.
The guy that was helping me was rude. I told him I wanted to add a driver and he mentioned he needed the DL#, so I called to get that. While I'm on the phone writingthe number down, he was telling me to go ahead and side my card. He rushed my transition and when I asked him about adding the driver he mentioned it was too late and that the ticket was already closed. I was the first and only customer there, as I arrived once they opened. I scheduled to arrive earlier and get the keys out of the box but, didn't arrive until later. I couldn't call because the location was not opened yet. He said, I thought you were coming for 6. I confirmed that was the plan but due to traveling I was unable to make it at the scheduled time. He proceeded to say, well I just took the keys out of the box and asked if I still wanted the truck. He was extremely unhelpful and totally not interested in me adding another driverElisha M.

Make sure when the reservation is set up for self pick up the customer is allowed to do self pick up. Reimburse for all of the issues YOU caused. $50 does not even cover 25 percent of the extra expenses you caused. I showed up at 7 am to get my truck that was scheduled for self pick up. I got there at 7 am and wasn't able to pull my reservation up because U-Haul had the wrong phone number for me. Called them and after getting told I never set a reservation up they finally figured out the phone number issue. Once that's all figured out after an hour I was still not able to get the truck. Had to call them again. They then told me the reason it was not available for pick up in the app was because the keys were inside the location and not outside like they were supposed to. So wasted 2 hours dealing with nothing that was my fault. Paid 150$ an hour for movers so I was out of pocket 150 for an hour because I did not have the truck. I was only given a $50 credit. A $90 truck turned into $240 in my eyes. So much more but too mad to keep going.Larrie L.

I asked for the 24 hr rate at the drop off location because I had the vehicle for less than 24 hrs and couldn't receive the 24 hr rental rate.Kutana S.
The 24/7 pick up was very frustrating because it was not clear that pick up should be within 15 minutes of stated time. Information need at pick up time could be obtained prior to arrival to make pick up easier. We were fortunate that an onsite worker was at the location prior to opening to help us get the key. My scheduled pick up time was 5:30pm. I didn't get out of there until almost 7pm. I'm not happy with U-Haul for a number of reasons. The scheduling system sucks and you are not up-front and transparent about fees. The clerk at the pickup location was clueless about everything.Regan P.

The front offices were closed when I arrived. Nervous at where I left the truck, but did my best. I was a little confused where to drop the keys off. There was one drop off box hanging on the outside wall for "payments", but nothing outside for "key", so I just dropped it in the box.Marsha P.
