The owner was helpful with getting our transport setup properly, but definitely seemed impatient and short. Maybe he was having a rough morning, but it was too beautiful outside for such an irritable spirit. The receptionist is the only reason I'd ever return. Thanks!
OSWALD GI have rented several U-Haul's before and this was the best experience. I was in and out of the building in less than 5 minutes with the U-Haul. Great service and easy to set up. Even easier to return. 10 out of 10!!!!!

NELVIN MMy only issue is the U-Haul is terrible on gas… I’m talking very bad on gas to the extreme
LENELL AOnly thing I didn’t like was I thought I would get some money back depending on how I turn in truck and I put back more gas than what I got it clean the back out and still charged the full amount plus’s .87 cents. When I spoke with customer service they said all the charges and I’m like what in the world. I only got a truck did order boxes they didn’t have any yes I was charged for them online. I paid for the dolly separate and got $15 insurance and I only went 3 well actually 2.2 miles over 50 miles.

Jane RI needed a Uhaul for a long distance move. I received a quote but ended up paying roughly $200 more at the time of pick up. That extra money was budgeted into my gas. There is no way Uhaul has been in business this long and hasn't received this complaint before and haven't corrected it. Customers cannot be valued, this is ridiculous. It's 2024, how does this happen? Terrible

WISLY CI could not use the app to turn my rental in. I returned at 4.40. Facility was closed. I took pictures of odometer and gas. But went to the app it said it did not recognize my number and to check in with the renter counter. Which was closed. I saved to gas odometer pictures if u need
KEVIN LFrom beginning to end, the rental and usage of the 20’ truck we got was so simple. Had to extend the rental multiple times and with the app it was a breeze. It was an easy place to find, and the staff was really nice and helpful.

Kim RThis reservation was moved from Put It Down at 4666 Broad St Sumter, SC 29154. This was required because the doors were locked and no one was around at Put It Down even though I arrived within their posted business hours. I've experienced similar problems picking up a UHaul in Columbia SC. I strongly recommend that UHaul screens their service providers more thoroughly to ensure that they have the ability (and willingness) to service UHaul customer's in a professional and timely manner. I did not experience any delays or issues with Sumter Rentals!!!!
William SThe initial truck had engine misfires that one associate tried to pass off as nothing. Thankfully another person heard the conversation about the check engine light and decided to check it out. Had to wait an hour for another truck.
