Was told its a 24 hour drop box after looking for 30 mins for a drop box for the keys and 20 miles out of the way at 1 am in the middle of the country to find out it is not 24hr

Gerald WWe arrived at the location to pick up the 5x8 trailer and realized it was too small for our needs. We didn't take it and alerted the attendant and drove to another location to collect a 6x12 trailer. This was on May 8th. As of yesterday, May 22, it is still a problem. They just refunded a portion of the rental. Why? Getting anyone to answer at the location is ridiculous and getting anyone to answer and stay on the line at U-haul customer service is even worse. Terrible experience.
John JI cleaned out the back of the truck and the only perss ad on there when I turned it in didn’t speak much English she said it was all ok then when I got the final invoice they charged me $25 for cleaning after using uhaul several times I thought was a little picky it is $only $25 but it will make a difference in where I rent next time thank you
DAN RThe location is very far out and they didn’t have all the supplies that I needed. Worst part is I hired movers, through U-Haul, and they were ready to work but because the store didn’t have all the supplies I requested plus didn’t receive any notification prior to my arrival so I could alter my planning such as going to Lowe’s l, Home Depot. Thus, the limited amount of supplies delayed our completion time because we had to make serval movements in the truck (which increased mileage and gas usage) just to make sure nothing was damaged.
Ryan WI requested the truck weeks in advanced and found out the day before my pickup that I would have to drive 42 miles away from my house to pick it up. I picked it up at a gas station with 1/2 a tank of gas. Vehicle was damaged on both sides and I spent 30 minutes trying to use you’re text message sign in to make sure I would not be blamed for the damage since it showed no sign that it had been documented

DONALD WThe lady working the Midway, Georgia U-Hual return could barely speak English and was on her phone the entire time trying to use the other person on the phone as a translator. She then insisted that I back up the 26 foot truck AND auto tow into an extremely difficult parking spot before she would accept the equipment. There was a U-Haul return in Richmond Hill, Georgia. So there was no reason U-Haul made me drive 40 miles out of my way for this experience, then would not allow me any extra miles for my trip. This was a horrible location!

Percy LHelp/ensure customer knows how to put vehicle onto tow dolly. Don’t park 26’ truck with empty tow dolly into a difficult place forcing customer to back out of a tight corner. Fill the trucks with gas so the customer doesn’t immediately have to find a gas station after picking up the truck.

Josh KAvoid doing business with these unfriendly and unprofessional folks!! Over the weekend I rented a U-haul in New Jersey with MIDWAY AUTO CARE listed on the contract as the drop off location. After driving two days and over 900 hundred miles the owner of the business refused to accept delivery of the rental truck, telling me he had no space to park it, even though his business was on the contract, and I would have to return the truck to another U-haul location 15 minutes farther away. Incurring an additional 15 miles on my bill, that should be covered by U-haul since their representative didn't fulfill their responsibilities. Really if you don't want to be a Uhaul location drop the franchise. Otherwise honor your business obligations. There are many friendly businesses in Midway, however MIDWAY AUTO CARE isn't one of them and should be avoided like the plague.

Sonya MThey charged me a $20 cleaning fee a day later online a truck that was clean! When asked why he said there was some debris in the back; a couple of leaves…also said the fuel was low and added 6 gallons and charged for it. I put 12 gallons in and drove 115 miles. Fuel level was very close to where it was when i received the truck.

Lawton QThe guy that rented me the truck was nice but what I’m furious about is that I paid for insurance to protect my property which my property got water damage due to the trucks cargo area not being properly sealed and all I’ve gotten is a pdf via email on how to clean my furniture! Are you serious!! First of all I shouldn’t have to clean my own furniture insurance should have someone come out and clean my furniture! I should be compensated for my damaged furniture since it was due to defective uhaul truck!! I am not a happy camper and I want everyone know that the extra insurance is bullshit!!!

Fred EI was charged a 40 fee for drop off at the wrong location, I rented an auto trans trailer from a gas station in Savanna GA and towed a vehicle home I never signed or seen any contracts they where emailed to me, the cashier at the gas station just asked me for information and my card. I noticed a charge today and looked at my contract that says I’ll be dropping office the rental in Charleston SC this was a mistake by the cashier as they input the information I called the local I haul and explained this must have been in error I was told there was nothing they could do but for me to call another number, I called that number and it just rang no one answered… so I’m out of 40 dollars for there mess up. I live in the city and state I returned this too , not the state listed that I’ve never been too

JACOB HI picked up the truck at almost empty and returned it almost empty, the clerk said I needed to add 1/8 of a tank of gas to bring it to the level it was at. If the tank level had to be that precise, you should make sure it’s taken and returned at full so we can add the exact amount of gas we used. I think anything other then that seems like a scam to charge more money for gas outage.

TYRESE VRental personnel not helpful wouldn't help load trailer on my truck and secure it correctly, I weigh 105 pounds and rented a 6x12' trailer that was sitting in water and I strained my back trying to lift it to my truck ball, then due to the fact that it was sitting in water and rusted I couldn't get the knob to turn, so I went and asked for help for the 3rd time he finally came out and lifted it up and set it back down on ball and said it was on and good. It was 106 degrees that day. I drove 407 miles that day through Atlanta with the trailer loaded with furniture and because I trusted the person that rented the trailer to me to know what he was doing, the trailer came off my ball 2 miles from my destination. The chains is the only thing that saved your trailer unfortunately my truck bumper and bed got damaged. I am grateful I wasn't in a lot of traffic when it happened, someone could have been killed. My suggestions would be to train your retail personnel to load a trailer on a ball correctly. He charged way to much for it and I couldn't find one any where else.

Shelby MInside cab was clean but the back had to be sweeped and mopped it was nasty. I did not want the bed I was moving to get dirty. Where the trucks are parked I had to drop the truck off a low curb which scared me to death.

Jason WFirst of all, I had to drive to another location 15 miles away because the trailer I requested was not there. For my inconvenience I asked for the use of a free dolley and they said I’ll see what we can do. He called the other location and said yes you’ll have a dolley. Then I arrive at the other location and of course no dolley and he acted like he had no idea what I was talking about. He said we have no dollies. ???? Not sure who the other guy talked to or was just telling me that either way I finally got the trailer and was on my way after an hour and half delay. Not a good experience. I’ve used Uhaul before and have had similar issues. Doubt I will ever use Uhaul again.
Michael RThe clerk/owner was rude, abrasive and not the least bit helpful. He did not have the equipment requested, instead attempted to sell unnecessary other equipment. It took approximately 1-3/4 hours to pick up the rental vehicle.

BILL HFirst and foremost, I don’t like surprises. On your website, my original location, 3 miles away, was shown as having “limited availability” for the equipment I needed, so I reserved it. I wake up early the next morning, my pick up date, to an email telling me my pick up location has changed to a location 18 miles away due to “no availability” at the original location. This causes me to drive 18 miles in the direction I needed to go in the first place, pick up the car dolly, turn around and come back 18 miles, load up vehicle , drove back past where I picked up the car dolly (18 miles) plus 18 more miles to the automotive repair shop, unloaded the car then drove back to the u haul store (18 miles) to return the car dolly, and finally back home another 18 miles. As I stated before, I don’t like surprises. I feel there has got to be a better way for U Haul to keep track of their equipment, especially with the current availability of tracking equipment and software. In my situation, I found myself unexpectedly dealing with a lengthy process. Please fix your tracking system as this would help future customers plan their commitments better.

Andrew EHad to drive off and on curb. Gentleman's nice but doesn't pickup phone when called also truck had multiple issues you can feel while driving the steering alignment is off and the truck was extremely dirty in back of truck.
Aaron LThis was the worst uhaul pickup experience I have ever had. There was only one person on site and he was running the convenience store. The trailer was parked in an in an unpaved area with a grade to get to it. I had to drive over a low curb to get in. I would never go there again
John BNot this locations fault but disappointed in Uhaul. They changed our pickup location without notifying us. The pickup location was 20 miles away from the location we had selected and then uhaul charged us for going 11 miles over the mileage limit even though they had sent us 20 miles further and we returned the truck 24 hrs earlier than paid for.

Deron SOrdered an appliance dolly, furniture pads and hand cart. They had none of those things and wasn't told that until I got there. Also wasn't the location I picked online.
