I've rented from this facility many times since moving to Riverview in January 2023. I have always had an excellent experience. The staff is pleasant and the equipment is well maintained. Prices are reasonable and my returns (sometimes after hours) has always been uneventful and as agreed with no surprises. My go-to place whenever I'm in need of a truck or van.

The young man that met me when I brought the vehicle in was courteous, helpful and friendly. He grabbed the keys and said that he would take care of everything from that point. Very happy with the entire process.

The entire process from reservation to drop-off was efficient. The location closes at 2pm on Sundays, which is when we needed to pick up a bedroom set. However, the rental ran through the next day at 2 pm, so that wasn't a problem. The vehicle was in good condition and clean. The only thing I didn't care for was that the fuel tank was only 3/8 full, which could have been irritating if we had to get gas during the move, and it made it somewhat difficult to know how much gas to add back when we returned the moving van. No biggie, but kind of odd. The return process was great. Just dropped it off during the evening and dropped the key in the door slot. Received the refund for unused miles (they calculate 75 miles) promptly the next morning. Smooth process. Family business since the 70s, so you can bet on the same good service.

Overall, no issues. The employees had a lot going on and a line of people to get through. Even though they were a bit frustrated they were still respectful.

The location was very old and unkept. Can't say much bout the rest of the employees, but the woman that helped me was in her late 80s or early 90s. She seemed to struggle with the hand held device for my return.

Outstanding customer service and very polite and professional. When I picked up the trailer, they set everything up, explained everything, and it was an amazing experience. I've used UHaul dozens and dozens of times and this was by far the best experience i've had!

Truck interior was not clean. The AC fan would only work on “high”. Truck should have a backup camera. Otherwise, the truck was fine and it got the job done.

Sunrise location was a big help . First location said they had truck then another call to go to Gibsonton location and truck dirty and didn’t start . Finally went to sunrise and got good service . First receipt was $152 but estimated mileage card charged . Have yet to receive a return of $60 that another receipt after . .Help

I had an excellent experience renting a U-Haul thanks to Fred Derrick and Steven. Their customer service was outstanding—they were extremely friendly, kind, and welcoming, and they made sure I had everything I needed before leaving. They were also very professional and quick, which made the whole process smooth and stress-free. I truly appreciate their help and would highly recommend this location because of them.

If I could rate this experience a zero, I would rate a zero! I was given one quote over the phone, and then told a higher amount upon arrival. The truck broke down shortly after I rented it. The Roadside assistance took almost 2 hours to arrive. He attempted to jump it off after I told them that I had already tried that. The truck had to sit for nearly 2 days before the proper assistance was given. When I called to update the store that I rented from, they attempted to charge me for additional time, so I had to stand firm on that. I missed a day's work because my moved got shifted. The entire rental should have been free after all I had to endure.

Derek was really attentive and accommodating. I had alot if questions and was in a time constraint. He had the answers and provided solutions. As for how how this location can improve (and I'm being nick picky by saying this) is having a office makeover and cleaning to have their great gift of their service wrapped up and included in its representation/reputation. This is my uhaul location of choice because of the proximity of the move needed and the teamwork and familylike feeling received. Thank you Derek and team! Sincerely, Angela S

Had to ask for my total and the place looks like a junk yard. I was not given anything saying the truck was in the same condition as when I picked it up. Had to ask the attendant to verify all was good.

The person at the front desk was very rude. She even was rude when someone out front was hit by a car and drugged down the street. The trailer that I received had oil all over the cargo trailer. In the back. Like someone repaired a vehicle inside the trailer and no one cleaned it up. I have rented from this location in the past, many times but this time, I was very disappointed. Even though this location is the closest one to me. I will try to find another one to rent from or just go to home depot and rent one ther vehicles.
