Warren HI have used U-Haul in the past without problems, and I want to be fair about this experience. The customer service at pickup was excellent, and the roadside assistance response after my breakdown was also excellent. Unfortunately, the reason I needed roadside assistance was extremely concerning. While towing the trailer on the interstate, I experienced a catastrophic tire blowout. I was able to maintain control of my vehicle and get safely off the highway, but this could very easily have resulted in a serious accident involving my vehicle, my property, or other motorists. When the roadside technician arrived to replace the tire, I specifically asked what he believed caused the failure. He told me the tire was dry-rotted and that the heat from the road caused it to fail. I understand that tire failures happen and that not every blowout can reasonably be prevented. However, a tire failing because of pre-existing dry rot is very different from an unpredictable road hazard. If the technician’s assessment was correct, the condition should have been identified before the trailer was rented to me. The incident also significantly disrupted my move. I missed the deadline to pick up the keys to my apartment, and after being told that dry rot caused the failure, I spent the remainder of the trip concerned that another tire might fail. I appreciate how well U-Haul’s employees handled the situation after the failure occurred. My concern is that I was apparently given a trailer with a tire that was already in an unsafe condition before I ever left the rental location. Given the potential consequences of a tire failure at interstate speeds, I don’t think that can simply be dismissed as something that happens.

Edwin AThe vehicle was very dirty on inside, along with the windshields. When driving the vehicle at a rate of speed of 30 it would shake. Also I put gas in the vehicle so the gauge would be where it was when picking it up, and they still charge me for gas. So will never use them again or recommend them.
Oliver EI was fraudulently charged for gas when I returned the vehicle with a full tank and yet they still lied and charged me. Luckily, I took photos to show as proof that the vehicle was returned with a full tank. Waiting for my refund now. Would not recommend renting from this location ever. Absolutely ridiculous!

Melissa ASometimes the guys were hanging around while only one person served customers and people waited for a long time. Also, one time the sales guy ) who was buy himself) was on his phone texting (obviously on social media) and saw me as a distraction from his texting. He was rude and accused me of returning used boxes. When he went and compared them to other boxes at the store he found out those boxes were designed this way.
Ahmed AI put the gas to the gauge where it was when I picked it up and I have my receipt. The lady at the drop off location still charged me for gas. That’s dishonest and poor customer service.

OLUSOLABOMI OLocation in front the building doesnt have a clean appearance like most location that i visit prior rental. Thats need improvement...outside of that everything is normal. I didnt talk to anyone because it was an after hour return. The return process was very easy. The location is perfect for riverview resident's
