My original pickup location did not have the equipment I reserved three weeks ago and I had to drive an extra hour to get the equipment. Additionally, I have been billed twice for the rental as I prepaid my original reservation and then found out the truck was not available.Troy F.
Truck was dirty inside. There were cigarette butts, sand, and spilled soft drink. We had to sweep the truck and then mop the floor. The rental agent took a picture of my drivers license and uploaded it from his personal cell phone. After, I felt like he should have offered me the opportunity to use my phone. Now my license and all of the personal information it contains is on a strangers cell phone.Gerard S.

Make sure that the trucks are being thoroughly checked before riding off and most importantly check the tires since the owner stated the neighborhood kids are tampering with his vehiclesDerick R.

Long story short. Three of my family members called U Haul with no luck finding our reservations so we ordered another truck. Shortly after picking it up we get a call asking if were coming to pick up the truck!!! Now we're getting charged for not cancelling?! THEY COULDN'T FIND ANYTHING, FOR US TO CANCEL!! SMHMichelle K.

Everytime I deal with UHaul it's a horrible experience. I called 3 times and 3 times you guys picked up after I waited 30 mins and then hung up on me. The drop off location you gave me was a residential neighborhood so I had to find my own. I wasn't given enough furniture pads so I had to get more which I was told would be free and it wasn't. Your cashiers laughed in my girlfriends face when she asked where the furniture pads were and then pointed to where they were. Horrible experience, you guys messed up every step of the process and I absolutely hate this company. I always willJoseph W.

Tell us what to do when you arrive at the location instead of just giving a location because it's just a gas station that you drop off keys but i didn't know that until i called U-Haul and asked them what to do at the gas station drop off locationJordan T.

My comment has nothing to do with the location where I ended up picking up the truck. It was disappointing to see my location change to 30 miles away from where I signed up to pick up the truck which was 1 mile from my house. Even after I called into UHaul to discuss, I kept getting that UHaul reserves that right to change the location. UHaul had 4 days to get that truck to the location I signed up for. If there was no mileage charges, I would not have been so disappointed. However, it cost my another 60 miles or $60 for what I deem as UHaul's responsibility to get the truck to the contracted location. It is going to be very hard for me to use UHaul in the future.Scott S.

While the check in and check out were very smooth and the folks in charge were quite pleasant, immediately after turning on the engine, I was greeted by a warning that the left rear tire was low on air. Trying to find a spot to fill up is a pain with a truck but I found one though I was not sure what PSI the tire should hold. But I did my best. Starting up the truck a second time, I now got a warning that the left front tire was low, and indeed it was, so I had to stop a 2nd time. The whole process is stressful enough as it is and these issues only added to itGregory J.
The personnel were extremely rude. They called to tell me I was late returning the truck, even though I wasn't. Then, when I returned the truck, they told me I was really late returning it. I dropped it off almost a full day early, so I don't know where they got their info from, but there was no need for rudeness, especially since they were wrong.Jessica D.

I rent a 10 ft truck for $19.99.in town but when they give me the total they changed the price for $39.99. If you need the truck for more the 2 or 3 hours make shur put on the contract and get recipes for you transactionJose C.
I was told $19.95, to rent & 63 cents per mile. I was never told i was only allowed to go up to only a limited amount of miles, i was told, when i returned, i went over the mileage. I had the truck for 3 hours & was charged $83., for going 40 miles, or less, that is rediculous, i will NEVER rent from you again $83, for 3 hours. Really???? Never again!!! Word of mouth hurts a business, more than anything else!Elizabeth Z.

I prefer dedicated uhaul centers, but it was necessary to use a small independent facility because the equipment I needed was only at this location. The attendant did not seem very experienced in the rental process. The attendant was, however, incredibly helpful in regard to getting the trailer connected and helping me establish a trailer light connection. I would say the attended went above and beyond anything that would be expected. Even went so far as to bring his personal vehicle in over to help trouble shoot the trailer light problem I was having. When we discovered that it was probably a fuse on my vehicle he continued to help until the problem was solved. Exceptional customer service!Glen P.
There was a trailer hooked up to our truck when we got here and we had to unhook it ourselves because the woman working at he location was physically unable to do so. It was a huge inconvenience.Emily H.
