Reserved 10’ box van. 15’ was all that they had. Representative said she’d correct the invoice to reflect the rate for the smaller truck. So far, haven’t received to the adjusted invoice. Not good. I’ve used this location for years. I will be coming back regardless of today’s goof up.

I got a call from a gentleman from uhaul as I was pulling into the storage facility to rent the 10ft truck. He told me they didn’t have the truck I reserved and said I can use a cargo truck or upgrade to the 15 ft truck for an additional fee. I was moving 2 couches today and the cargo van would not fit those couches. I asked why I needed to pay more for the 15 ft truck when they did not have the 10ft truck I reserved. The person said his supervisor is not available on Sundays and that there was nothing he could do other than charge us more for the 15 ft truck or send us to another location to get the 10ft truck. I do not believe companies should hold customers responsible for the problems or mistakes by the company. Luckily someone returned their 10ft truck early and we were able to use it after 20 minutes of back and forth. Also the storage company that had the uhauls said she would not have charged us extra. The location was awesome but I was rattled by the phone call from uhaul. We were on a tight schedule to get the truck and get our furniture and I felt like I was getting swindled. Good companies make things right when they mess up and that was not the case with uhaul today. Luckily everything worked out in the end.

The online check-in for renting a U-haul truck is really bad and wasting my time. For the truck pick up, after going through all the online hassles including the taking the awkward selfie, waiting the approval from online customer representative and asking my friend to pick up verification phone call from them, I still need to walk in the store to get the keys. For the truck return, I don't know what are the other online hassles waiting for me so I decided to walk into the store and give the associate the key. Guess how long was it? 10 seconds. I am very happy that at least I made the right decision for the truck return without wasting my time being a guinea pig for U-Haul.

I called and put a hold on a uhaul while my bf stopped by to pick it up. When receiving keys he was asked if he wanted insurance to which he responded no. The lady working then told him that I had said I wanted insurance when I put the hold on the truck. This is incorrect. Because she told him I had asked for it he agreed and headed home. After realizing we had been charged an extra $15 for insurance we didn’t need I called customer service who told me there was nothing she could do and I would have to wait for someone to reach out to me, which never happened. Never using again and would not recommend to anybody.

Trucks check engine light came on. Exhaust was smokey. Breaks were terrible. Returned without filling gas because check engine light came on and I was too scared to drive it further - told rep that and they still charged me for fuel! Terrible!

Drop off was a hassle. They wouldn't budge on extending our drop off time at all so we had to pay for another full day. Gate code they gave us wasn't working and no one answered at the call box, so we weren't sure where to leave the van. No one was in the office or answering the phone, midday on a weekday. I parked in customer parking and went to drop the key in the box, which is where all the dropoff instructions were (after we'd already parked). Unfortunately it asked us to park the van where there was no available parking. Drop off process took about half an hour. Also, we rented a truck a couple of weeks ago and the dealer quoted wrong on the gas and told me it was at half a tank, but then I got charged for it being 1/8 under because it was that much over half a tank when we borrowed it (I didn't have the paperwork with me, so I went by the verbal disclaimer). Don't charge customers for gas unless it's more than 1/8 of a tank difference; it's difficult to fill that precisely and apparently the dealers estimate by quarters when releasing the vehicles. And make sure that dealers have enough parking available for the vehicles they're renting out. Thanks.

I ordered a 20 foot truck. I have several conformation saying I had a 20 ft. Someone even called me and confirmed I had 20 ft. truck. When I got to the location I did not have a 20ft. truck. I had a 15ft truck or nothing. When I asked why she said we don’t have one available. She said she could call around and try and get one. I didn’t have time to wait for a truck. I was suppose to already have. We went over mileage by just a little bit because we had to make two trips. We were then charge extra. We even left 1/2 a tan of gas instead of a 1/4. It added 3 hours to our already long day because we had to make two trips to the Hood River area from Beaverton. The staff were very nice, but I will try to find a different company next time.

I paid in advance for 30 miles. Drove 14 to 16 miles. Thought I would get the mileage back, so I didn’t put gas in. Was told I owed 11 more dollars! Bad business!!!

Issue is with reservation system gave wrong timing I wanted to pick up at 7pm during reservations it said yes but later on I was told to pick up at 4:45 thanks to your customer service person she warned me and tried to help me

The on location representative should be wiling to call U-haul if the confirmed quote can not be matched at point of pick- up. I was assured that my only option was to pay double the quoted price and then seek a refund from Uhaul afterward.

Go over the workings of the truck with the customer- I wasn't able to find the mileage odometer until after I had left the business. It was not the same as indicated on the rental form. Being a new truck, I was not familiar with how the dashboard worked until I had already left the business. I ended up paying for more mileage than I drove.

Sunset Mini RV was what you would expect from an independent uhaul center, so perfectly average there. the Uhaul however needed maintenance, the brakes barely worked and the rotors feel very warped. Truck was dirty on pickup but that doesn't bother me.

I think the gate code that I was given was wrong. We followed someone in to park the truck then had to wait a long time to follow someone out. The code didn’t work no matter how much I tried. We almost had to jump the gate to get out

1) Your agent was quite friendly and competent. 2) I rented a 10 foot truck. It is somewhat terrifying to back up in this truck. (Probably most of your trucks larger than normal pickup trucks and small vans. I am hoping that new trucks get backup cameras. Also, that the image shown on an in-cab screen are wide-enough to help with backing onto a street, It is almost impossible to tell if there is oncoming traffic in the nearest travel lane. It might also be cool if the in-cab display could be switched from the rear camera to a 45-degree right rear view. This would help merging from a non-right-angle driveway.

I did not get the truck I reserved a week ago. When I arrived, they said this location didn’t have the truck and that the uhaul online system was also not working properly. They charged me another $10 for the truck I didn’t want. Seems like a scam to me. Trying to get more money from me for something I didn’t ask for.

Uhaul is terrible. I was charged for fuel after refueling myself. Desk attendant even admitted the gauge was hard to read and corporate would most likely charge me regardless. I will rent from Home Depot next time I need a truck.

A first time customer at this location. I love it. It is so super easy to navigate and locate the place. Stuff up in front super nice and friendly. One of the lady there who helped me was SUPER AMAZING. THANKFUL AND APPRECIATE HER FOR HELPING me move the truck up front where it will be easy for me to pull out to the road and drive off. I dropped it off same day and was charged $87 for what no one can answer that for me. it was clean and everything and was suppose to be $19.95 busses bait and switch. This is **** up. when I picked up the car it had a check engine light on and lady was like what ever u-haul maintains them like she did't give a ****.

It's called the gas tank was at Half Point and trusting I did not double check it that within a mile of getting down the road or less I took a screen picture and it was not at the halfway mark but below and the cab was full of popcorn on the passenger side with a car being in the shade I thought they were paint spots on the rubber mat but they were not. I will definitely not recommend this place. I was told I would probably receive an adjustment but I have yet to receive one transaction. I would definitely not recommend this location.

The steering on the truck was vague and tended to oversteer in both directions, leading to continual swaying unless driven very carefully. The steering only became worse under load. This truck would be very dangerous for an inexperienced driver. After reserving 12 blankets, they had none, so I had to take a separate trip to another U-Haul, who also charged us less for them. On the plus side, the person at the desk was trying her best and was very nice.

Customer service was poor and I got charged for two gallons of gas on something I was very careful to match. Note that I only drove seven miles on a truck that gets 12 miles to a gallon. They also did not do a good job confirming. The tank matched what was on my contract.

We used the "move help" and they didn't show. During a conversation with them they became defensive and argumentative.This was a big problem as it put us behind an entire day. We ordered help again and were pleased with the men that showed up. Please check your people who want to be a part of Uhaul mover help.
