Contract# 96706984 - I reserved my rental the day before for 6pm on 11/31/25. I received a phone call back from Uhaul at 4:27pm on 11/30/25 to let me know that they did not have a van at that particular location but that i could use a 15' truck, since that was the smallest they had, and it would be for the same price that day. I agreed. When I arrived at 6pm on 11/31/25 to pick up my rental they told me that they showed I was supposed to be there at 10:30 am however, I have the printout showing I booked it for 6pm. They called the regional manager. He told me that they tried to give the truck I reserved to someone else at 10:30 that morning. Anyhow, after about 40 minutes I was finally able to get a truck by around 6:40 pm. I turned it back in the next day at 1:53 pm. However, they could not get the billing correct and charged me for 2 days instead of 1, for both the rental and the insurance. When I called 904-677-5568 to get the billing corrected very easily over the phone, Adia started quickly arguing with me and telling me that my reservation was for 10:30 in the morning. I tried to explain to her that was not when my reservation was for and that i could prove it. That that was a mistake on UHauls part for which I was trying to call and get corrected. She would not bother to look into it for me at all and earn her paycheck and quickly resolve my problem. Instead, she stated that the best that she could do was to email the area manager. I hope that is not correct, and that UHaul would actually give her the resources to look up the things that I was telling her on the computer and be able to resolve problems herself. Instead of just handing her a phone and telling her that her only power was the ability to send off emails. Because I can do that myself, and apparently I am going to have to now.
