I reported the uhaul stolen. It come to find out it was. was illegally towed by Parking Solutions of San Antonio. I have proof from the owners of the CVS parking lot that it was illegally towed. The towing company poached my vehicle, illegally towed it, lied to police, destroyed my property in the back of the uhaul because my items were not tied down because it wasn’t supposed to be moved. And uhaul told me they couldn’t do anything til Monday so on top of everything else… I was charged more by uhaul because the vehicle was illegally impounded. I’m frustrated and upset with Uhaul for not doing more for me in this situation. I’ve been renting from uhaul from this specific location for over 20 years and I’ve never had 1 issue. And the one major time I truly needed uhaul’s help, it was not provided… I had no justice, destroyed items, and over charged for a situation that was not my fault at all.. I don’t know if I’ll rent from uhaul again.
Marilyn EThis was the worst experience I remember ever having with UHAUL and I've been a "frequent flyer" for at least 30 years. My experience with pick-up was just the beginning of a moving nightmare. First, I made arrangements to pick-up at a UHaul facility within walking distance -- a great idea since I don't have a vehicle of my own. On the morning of the move, you texted me to tell me to pick-up at this Universal City location -- much too far to walk so all my logistical planning was a waste of time and effort. I got there, though. Once I did, I was informed the dolly I had reserved was not there and nothing I could do about it. I understand that many people consider a dolly a convenience, as I did . . . once upon a time. I'm a 69-year-old woman now with bone diseases -- weak, brittle, and easily broken -- that make moving a physical / medical risk of broken bones. A dolly is no longer a convenience; it is a medical necessity you promised to deliver at pick-up. I got through it, though. The contract I signed at pick-up indicated the truck had half a tank of gasoline in it. I verbally confirmed with the man I was working with and he assured me that, yes, we like to have half a tank at all times. In reality, the truck had less than 1/8 of a tank so I immediately filled it 3/4 full. But first, before leaving the pick-up location, I took a photo of the gas tank indicating a much lower level of gas than half a tank. Borrowed a dolly from a friend and proceeded to my destination. No, the final chapter of this UHaul experience was not any better than its beginning. It was actually worse. And remains yet another financial rip-off -- you got me at both ends of this awful experience.

SHERI RYes, the staff was very friendly. No because the helper guy lied to his manager about the status of the U-Haul truck we rented. The assistant said there was 3/8th tank of gas and I have pictures that we received it with it on empty. There's a hump to get out of the parking lot and it stalled on our way across the street to the gas station!!! We couldn't get another truck because the guy said that was his last truck for the weekend. We had to put gas in the truck which delayed us. Plastic pieces on the passenger side kept falling off as we hit bumps on the road. Where you returned the truck was so trashy- literal trash everywhere. Ground, sidewalk, in a wheelbarrow. It was disgusting. I've used uhual for over 20 years for all my moves (my job moves me every 1 to 2 years) and this was the first time it was a horrible experience all the way around. This wasn't even an official move - I was moving large furniture from an estate sale to my house. Truck Reservation # 27007345

TIMOTHY ZAm not satisfied with the charge on my card. I was told rental was $20 and 99Cents/mile. I drove 18.3 miles but when I got my reciept I was charged at $1.19cent/mile. I believe in transparency and that was lacking. Paying $1.19 was not the problem. The problem was he told me 99cents/mile.

Patricia MVery few parking spaces and after drop off I received a text from Uhaul claiming they received the truck but not the tow dolly in broken English. Im very lucky I took photos of the drop off because I feel like they were trying to scam us.
GRANT HIt was confusing, we went to the drop box, but then someone knocked on the window and asked us to come in. That person took the key and said thats it, and I guess getting the bill for the 1 extra mile means its all good.

Scarlett TI was asked to pick up the vehicle early and told I would receive a day free. That was not the case So on moving day, I had to spend time on the phone making sure the return time could be fixed. The mileage was also incorrect. I drove less than 30 miles and when I went to return the truck, it said I drove almost 50,000 miles, so I had to call again. Overall the experience was very stressful and inconvenient.

Cynthia CVery friendly staff. Only issue on the dolly was the strap was rolled up to the point I couldn’t get it loose without untangling it around the center. Not a big issue, someone just tied it down with too much loose strap, but would have been nice not to have to deal with. Other than that very friendly and helpful
