He didn’t even tell me about the papers that I needed to use for the checkin or that I needed to stay at the location until I was done checking in the uhaul through phone or app. I had to go back and my phone needed wifi to use the app and he wouldn’t let me connect to his to check In. Will not recommend this pick up to anyone again

John HThe truck was dirty inside with cigarette ashes on the dash and console and it reeked of cigarette smoke. The steering was loose, brakes were spongie and had about a 1/4 tank of fuel. No I would not recommend.

Mariya AThis was the worst customer service. NOT this location. We booked 2 weeks in advance, and the truck wasn't at the location booked and after waiting 3 hours it never arrived. We got on the phone and after much to do they sent us to the Hermitage location, which was where we wanted to go 2 weeks prior, but they said no trucks available???? There were 4 trucks at this location all day, so seems like the head office doesn't know what is going on out in the real world. This is very stressful for anybody but seniors more so, especially when we have help organized, and have no truck till the next day. An inconvenience for all. The gentleman at Hermitage was very pleasant and helpfull. Gary Jackson
gary jWhile the service was great, I booked the car for 8 AM and selected mobile pickup however, I was unable to access the car until the location opened. but the location did not open until 10 AM. The location owner informed me that Uhaul shouldn't have allowed the booking for 8 AM knowing fully well that the location open time is 10AM. This meant I lost 2 hours of my time waiting for the bus and resulting in completing my task in 2 days instead of 1. I will like to know who is going to pay for the lost hours and income. - Chika
Chukwunonso uWe didn’t like that the location is primarily a vape/smoke shop and for that reason wouldn’t recommend it. The staff and service was good but the location itself not so much.

Ralph TChanged my rental to a different location and I was not advised. I booked a 6x12 ENCLOSED trailer for a out of town move From Edmonton to Redwater (but returning to the same location) and they changed it to a 6x12 open trailer. Called customer service about the situation and they said they will find a 6x12 that I originally booked but for a different location in a different area of the city. On the way there received an e-mail for confirmation of a 6x12 OPEN trailer. Called back and spoke to another rep. Was told nothing is available in that size and I would need to use a 4x8 enclosed trailer. Significantly smaller. Had to make multiple trips wasting gas because of the lack of space. Asked rep if there was any way they could help out and was told no" We don't make much on the 19.95 rental so I can't help you" In my line of business if I messed that up my customer wouldn't be paying for my lack of organization/communication. I understand that technology isn't perfect and the e-mail got lost somewhere as I have checked multiple times in all inboxes for the notification of a changed location. Even if I went to the correct location I wouldn't have received the proper trailer. Rep told me to use a tarp and ratchet straps. Thanks but I wasn't expecting to do that are you paying for that since I planned for an enclosed trailer? Never had an issue with UHaul before. VERY disappointed with this experience. I would like to point out the pick-up location that I did get the small trailer from was great! No problems there, just Uhaul.

rick cThe first drop off location was not existing I then tried another location to drop off and there was no drop box. I then had to call and find an alternative location. These unnecessary trips made me have extra charges for milage.
Linsey POnly thing I was not happy with was the fact that pick up time was 10 and no one showed up till 10:20 to open the store,also the truck I was given had a trailer attached to it so I had to remove the trailer before I could take the truck.
Paul AI reserved the vehicle transport trailer from 2pm -2pm 24hrs When arriving I'm being told they don't care if I need it for 24 hrs , someone else needs it at 10 am the next day and they want it back before the next customer. That's not my agreement with uhaul . I'm not impressed

Denise BI have previously filed a complaint with UHaul about this rental and was told I would get immediate attention from the most senior executive in the northern Alberta area. That was 2 weeks ago and I have not received a single communication from UHaul. The truck had been in a wreck prior to renting to me and was not safe to drive. This was well known by the store and by the area manager. I was told it was the only 26 foot truck available in the entire area for more than a week, when it was known by all that I was on a tight schedule to drive to Texas, a distance if 2,600 miles. The front shocks were badly worn, the truck did not track straight when loaded, the doors did not seal, the entire truck shook violently when crossing any road irregularity, and I had to constantly fight for control of steering so as to not endanger myself or others. I have 50+ years driving experience and this was the most negligent vehicle rental I have ever experienced. The vehicle showed signs of prior accidents: - front bumper bent inward - damage to the skirts on the drivers side - scrapes along the box on the drivers side I cannot fully express how disappointed I am in UHaul, for whim I had been a customer over the years, to be treated in this way. The fact that I endured all of this, and then, after lodging an official complaint and hearing NOTHING, leads me to this conclusion: UHAUL DOES NOT CARE AT ALL ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS. UHAUL HOLDS ITS CUSTOMERS IN CONTEMPT. UHAUL WILL DO EVERYTHING IN ITS POWER TO CHEAT ITS CUSTOMERS TO MAXIMIZE PROFIT. PS I later found out from a UHAUL dealer that this truck was being sent to Texas for auction. In other words, I was delivering it to its final destination, and I had to pay for the priviledge! I now request of UHaul, again, contact me to resolve this nightmare rental.

Susan RI visited 3 U-Haul locations on the day of my reservation before I was actually given a truck. And it was significantly smaller than what I had reserved. At several points throughout the ordeal it appeared there would nothing available to me, and I was literally told I was 'SOL'. Lucked out at this Super Mart location because something else cancelled last minute. Will be avoiding U-Haul at all costs in the future.
Grant EThe engine runs good and it was clean but the doors did not stay closed unless they were locked. I was also billed for extra insurance that I had declined when I booked this. I have rental insurance on my auto policy so paying extra was not necessary and again, it was something I declined in my booking. I had requested the $5 plan for lockouts etc. not the insurance.

Edward DI booked a uhaul closer to where I lived, but the location changed and I had to drive an extra 30 minutes just to pick up my uhaul.
Emmanuelle COFFER A PRINT OUT OF THE RECEIPT TO SENIOR CUSTOMERS. HAVE THE SECOND PERSON AT THE OFFICE GO OUT TO PICK THE UNIT. ARRIVE TO WORK 10 MINUTES EARLY.
Chris NNo issues with pick up location, but ordering the uhaul was a hassle, dates and locations incorrect, length of rental incorrect. Location of pick up squared away all issues. Made my move a lot less of a hassle. Trailer rented also did not have a jack or leg to load and unload.

Lorie AIndividual was alone and lacked knowledge on many things. Having said that the other location nearby filled in the gaps and the District manager "saved the day and move" . I still ended up losing a day of my move but the others who stepped in were professional and got the job done. Additionally , the call center sufferers from the same fate and lacked knowledge and professionalism and I ended up with no storage on the other end (which was part of the reason and your current promotion). Was unbelievable comments about the promo and where the storage would be located. Deceptive advertising! A course on Geography would be beneficial to the call center employees. Please note the windshield wipers were awful and could have caused serious problems on such a journey!!! Maintain your vehicles and keep the drivers safe!

Jaden BClean the snow from around the vehicles and on the windshield of the vehicles. Snow tires so you don't get stuck when you try to back up. At least have a shovel and snow scraper which they had none of!!!
