Very disappointed with the overall level of service. I was first sent to a location that was closed, then on hold with U-Haul for almost 10 minutes only to be disconnected and not called back. This happened 3 times, costing me over an hour. I then was sent from spruce grove to the east side of Edmonton for a new pickup location.

Staff was late opening store which made me late for my move as I it was already late since original location opened an hour earlier. Location did not have all the things I had requested such as Dolly’s 2 and 4, blankets, utility dolly. Staff answer was just go up the road and get them which wasted more time. Upon return staff was rude (female) and no customer service skills. First thing she said to me when I entered store was your late. My reply was I wouldn’t be late if I had all supplies I prefer and didn’t have to go to another location first about a dolly. When completed I Asked for cab to be called to which her reply was you have a phone which was very rude. I found the female staff ver ‘bitchy’ as I was maybe taking her away from her you tube videos. This whole interaction was a very negative one

The truck was completely filthy inside and out, the associate didn't explain anything, had me sign a couple things and then gave us keys. He didn't do a walk through with us either.

When I booked online I was to pickup from a different location. When I arrive I was told my 9' van was ready, I ordered a 10' truck. Then the guy cancelled my order and sent me to this super mart location. The guy was really good and professional. The guy at GSKSC group on 34A ave in Edmonton was TERRIBLE don't recommend going to GSKSC, go to the super mart.

The truck had cigarette butts throughout the cab. I took pictures incase they tried to say the garbage was mine. The back of the truck was full snow and garbage a bunch of jerry cans and parts. The truck it self windshield and hood full of ice and snow with no brush to clean it. Very disappointed!!!

On line i was told my visa debit card was accepted. When i went to pick up the rental my card would not work.The agent told me this happens all the time which really surprised me He told me only stand alone credit cards were accepted by Uhaul. He took a deposit from my debit card but then explained that he could not return the balance to my debit card .Uhaul would send me a cheque. In this day and age i was totally stunned by the archaic system you have in place .You should update it to present day standards.

The guy who served us was rude and when I booked the truck I was told I could put a $100 deposit by cash. when I got to the location the guy said no we cant we had to use credit card. I explained to him I don't have one, he said than no truck..so I was going to call different store than he said let me see what I can do He than let us use our debit but he put 133 on the card. Than when we get in the truck the gas was on empty..when he put that is had 1/4 tank ..so we had to put gas and when we returned it he did not refund us for the gas cause it was still on 1/4 tank. He was very rude and yelling at me. Never again will I go to that location. You need to get someone else working there.

Dirty vehicle; back was not swept, when we were cleaning found a press on nail under the drivers seat. Location was sketchy.

Does not take cash or debit. Only credit. Does not know how to operate U-Haul’s system, and tried to ask for an additional $230 upon returning the equipment, even though this was an out of town trip, and paid for upfront. Uhaul said I could return this truck to *any* location, however when we tried returning to a different location, the staff there said they had no information on the rental, and were going to call the police unless we returned it to the originating location. Pursuant to that, uhaul seemingly had an impossible time getting me a truck. I booked a 20ft truck three weeks in advance, then was downgraded to a 15, then a 10, then back up to a 15... at which point this location called me back saying the truck isn’t available until two hours past the pickup time- even though the uhaul manager (Patrick) said the truck was on the lot and guaranteed for me. Suddenly the truck is available yet again. All of this, to move myself 11 kms in town, with 4 days. All in (since my booking became last minute???) I was given a higher out of town rate, (compared to the 19.95 per day, and 53 cents per mile, offered as an apology by someone in the booking office, for downgrading me to a15 foot truck the first time) so that I was able to secure any truck. My move cost me $145 + gas, hours on the phone with uhaul, and too much stress to describe. I’ll be choosing a different company for any future moves. This is a scam, uhaul bases it’s business model, preying upon people that can not make alternative arrangements 3 hours before a move. I’m totally disgusted.

Have everything ready before the custoner comes. They couldnt find me on the schedule thing, he didnt know if he had furniture blankets even though i requested them. All together it took 40 minutes just to pick up the trailer.

The total length of the truck would have been nice to know for reserving a ferry. The 26 ' length only indicates the truck box. Also, the tow dolly was not available at the same location as the truck -we had to go pick it up across town. Also, everyone renting a tow dolly should be made to watch the 3 minute safety video on You Tube before renting the dolly- that's the only way we knew what to do with the straps.

Two hours before pick-up, I was called and notified of a location change. I had ordered an 8' van and when I arrived at the location, they "upgraded" me to a 20' truck. I refused the upgrade, as I do not have that much stuff to move, and they said that was my only option, take it or leave it. Very unfriendly customer service.

Please put all tires according to the weather, last month we got trouble because of heavy snow & truck tires didn't support for winter condition. We waste 3 hours of our time just to get the truck out of the ditch.

Everything was great.. I had no issues at all with the pick up location or the lovely man running it. There was an error made with the first place I called and made my reservation, but he fixed it right away and was really nice about it.
