I needed a pin to secure my hitch. This u-haul location did not have any supplies available to help me. I had to drive to a nearby auto store to get the pin I needed.

Fast and friendly staff.
JOHAN VWhen suggesting load weight, I would tell customer to load 60% weight towards the hitch. Front of trailer, or Back if looking through door opening could be confusing. Sticker on inside is correct. There is an outside sticker that noted load weight to front. Staff was super sweet and helpful. Always enjoy conversation with them at pick up and drop off. I would drive past other U-hauls to rent from them again.

Stacey MTruck was a little above 1/4 tank returned with same amount of fuel now being charged almost 100 dollars for gas seems to me looks like someone is using equipment at the job or lazy and doesn't check in equipment like they are supposed too and going by customer word
DANIEL NThis area needs WiFi badly if self checkout is required. Both my TMobile and AT&T had poor signal here made the whole process frustrating because of the painfully slow loading times in the app.

TINA PCustomer service was very rude. When i asked a question she responded in a way that i felt like she felt that was a dumb question. Had trouble loading pictures of truck and license plate before i left facility. Wouldn’t load outside because i think of bad internet.
Kent LCustomer service is great, hours are rough closes super early at 4pm. This particular truck the 15 foot model had a few dangers. It had no back up camera but the 10 footer did I rented a week earlier. Then the 15 foot truck had an intermittent air conditioning really rough on a 105 degree day. And running it was really rough from 50mph to 60 and a Truck That size especially loaded wants to run at 55mph on the freeway and it’s frightening when the truck is vibrating and knocking.
JAMES SThere was no one there. Called U-Haul and got the most amazing and helpful lady. She walked me through setting up my iPhone for locating the place and helped with everything. Didn’t get her name but if you can track her through my contract number give her a raise! Really really helpful. Trailer towed great too. Only problem is left turn signal doesn’t work but reported that already. Thanks again to the helpful lady

JOHAN VSame as above: The first location NOHO shopping supplies (12814 victory blvd) DID NOT have my truck as agreed to in the contract. NO ONE was there and the business was CLOSED! the first call I made to a customer service rep (Tess, I think was her name) at around 7:05 am was not helpful and blew me off. She gave texted me a phone number to U-Haul that was most staffed until the following day. She transferred me to the number which I am sure she knew would not be answered. I called back and the second service rep set me up with another location and reservation for later that morning. Overall, the service at U-Haul was either GREAT or HORRIBLE. Please keep the good employees and service centers and get rid of the bad ones!

JANET JI needed a 26'truck, but they only had a 15'. This meant I had to make two trips instead of one.

Jose NThe statement "drives like a van, hauls like a truck" is not accurate for any loaded moving vehicle 20' or 26' in length. The 26' supermover Truck we had certainly did drive like a truck. At best, we avg 8.6 mpg and usually 7.8 mpg.

Jennifer HIt would have been nice if your truck descriptions had more information. I rented a small truck (10 ft) because I didn't have a lot of items to move, but we had to make multiple trips to get everything transported. I was focused on the "1 Bedroom Apartment" descriptor but maybe include examples of what that means?

kelly lI am rating excellent because the people here are so helpful and efficient and they always make it work out. And, I rated NA for clean and maintained because a panel on the floor of the truck popped out, making it very difficult to manuver around -- we got stuck in the hole a lot. Not exactly sure this is a maintenance issue, but it did seem like there were rivets missing that might have been needed to keep that panel in place.
glenna tI only need a truck, not all the extra stuff, so making a reservation is a little tedious having to go through every screeen saying 'No I don't need this'. What I DO need is the exact dimensions of the surface of the truck. Minus all the things sticking out! The little holder for the dolly I don't need. the wheel wells. And this time -- the big bag of blankets that was attached right at the entrance -- in the way of loading!!! Also, the bottom surface seemed to have been patched many times, which made it difficult to slide heavy things over. Wheels got stuck.

James DMy pick up location was changed at the lat minute to a 45 min. drive from the proposed initial location. I called and basically told unceremoniously too bad. When I asked to speak to a manager I was told they were all on vacation. I asked for a call when they came back, and I have yet to be contacted. I would find hard to say that the service from a corporate perspective was anything but poor. This is not a reflection of the pick up location which was pleasant. Overall, I would n't reccomend UHaul because they can switch locations at the last minute with no recourse, and at that point I was stuck without time to make other arrangements. If I book a pick up location 4weeks in advance the truck I want should be at that location. NO EXCUSE.
John HThe truck I had, the brake rotors were badly warped. Most common issue on rental vehicles. Not sure how you improve, just an fyi. The woman that checked the vehicle in, commented she will take it out of the fleet immediately, and schedule it for repair. Great staff, great customer service.
