Jennifer provided superb, professional service. She was very knowledgable and helped us consider contingencies we would not have thought of by ourselves. After picking up the trailer, there were pronounced vibrations when driving it empty. I assumed that was normal, since the tongue load was negligible. The dynamics improved somewhat when the trailer was loaded; however, during our move, both tires experienced tread separation and catastrophic failure that damaged the respective wheel well on each of the first two consecutive days of our trip; the second was a rather dramatic blowout!! U-Haul’s emergency service providers were excellent!! (“Red” with ALWAYS REDDY MOBILE SERVICE in Needles, CA and SCOTTY & SONS in Arizona). After both of the initially installed tires were replaced with tires mounted and balanced on rims provided by the respective emergency service providers, the remainder of the trip was uneventful. I want to state explicitly that there is no practicable way that Jeniffer in Paso Robles could have known of the risk or anticipated the tire failures that occurred. I would like an opportunity to review the service provided by ALWAYS REDDY MOBILE SERVICE and SCOTTY & SONS. The text responses that you sent me referred to a “link” to do thet, but there was no such hyperlink.
