I've been using U-haul lots , from different location , and the service was always surpassing excellence . At this location , the first day of location was very good , but at the return , the German lady swear at me , screaming , confronting , very rude at the point that myself I just about lost my mind and smash everything in this place . Shes a crazy woman .The other employees were very professional and explained to me the invoice very calmly even if we disagree but remained civil . I will still using U-haul , but never at this place and I won't recommend this place to no one .
Alain DOur truck had cut wires that impacted the break lights on the towing trailer, but the team at this location was incredibly accommodating and even had a representative meet us at our home to fix the problem. We were really grateful for their dedication to getting us on the road and loading up the truck so that we could move across the country the next day. 10/10 would recommend this location. They really cared about us and about getting us on our way.
Rikus NAll four tires on this trailer were bald and down to the wear bars. Had to take it to Kal tire on my own time to have replaced as I was travelling 2600kms- this location was not helpful at all and even said because I purchased the highest packages “to just call roadside when I have an issue”. This trailer shouldn’t have been rented out to anyone in that state, let alone someone travelling 2600kms. 10/10 do not recommend this location

Nathan BThe lady at the desk was amazing and helpful and told me where to park the truck when I'm back. As I was trying to park the truck I saw a back door to the building where I was trying to park. So I decided to park aside and go in and ask if it is ok to park there. As I was doing that, this person shows up and started belittling me saying it is not too complicated where to park , small trucks with small trucks and large trucks with same. He was rude and made me feel stupid where I was only trying to be courteous to go in and ask if it is ok to block the back door. This person shouldn't be dealing with people bcs he's simply rude and doesn't know how to talk to customers. I will never deal with that location again even though the lady at the desk was amazing. He ruined the experience.

Phillip EThe location was great. Dealing with Uhaul corporate on the other hand was a completely different experience. I was charged for a Tow that I didn't request. There was little to no communication or correspondence. Im waiting until business hours resume to see how they're going to handle my request before I call visa about an unauthorized charge to my card for services not requested or approved and possibly further actions. I'm disgusted at how this entire thing was handled.
James AIt was great at the start. Then they called me and said “hey, your trailer, it’s two days over due” It was not over due. I told the guy it was parked right behind the two trailers that were in the wrong spot as we were given instruction on exactly where to park. So instead of looking they just called and accused me of not returning it. And then two days later my credit card was used for 2900$! Very odd coincidence as that card was not used in months, now all of a sudden someone has the card info.

Dave LI recently went to rent a 10ft U-Haul truck to move a mattress for a friend of mine to a location in Edmonton. I went to the branch with my son who was supposed to go to school but was helping me. We were rushing to complete the rental process. The manager assigned a truck that was in a very tight corner with other equipment around it. As a commercial driver, I realized it wouldn't be safe to move the truck without causing damages to it and other truck around it. I chose not to use the assigned truck as I noticed there was another truck parked in her ward in a better spot. I took down the number and went into the office to inform her and I gave her the number of the other 10ft truck that was in a safe spot. To my surprise, she told me that she just assigned that truck to the customer who was waiting after me. This made me wonder why she did not assign the truck in a proper position to me as I was the first one ahead of that lady. As we were rushing, I asked if I could rent the van that was parked right in front of the office since there was no other 10-foot truck around. She offered to add a $10 insurance for the van, and I agreed. Additional paperwork was done, and we came out to confirm the license plate by taking pictures of the equipment on the U-Haul application. The van was not cleaned, it was dirty on the lower sides of the van, and the same thing on the backside. She was outside with me, and she saw the condition of the truck as well. I rushed to take the van and went to deliver that mattress to the address, and I returned the equipment on that same Friday. The following Monday, I noticed that $25 cleaning fee was charged to my credit card. I called the branch to find out why and the young guy I spoke with, told me there was nothing he could do for me because the equipment was returned dirty. I replied that the equipment was in that dirty condition when I rented it, and that the manager was also outside, and she saw it while I was confirming the equipment license plate on the uhaul website. He replied that it was my responsibility to go in and tell them that the equipment was dirty. I ended the conversation and later I called back to speak to the manager who was not available. Couple days later, I called again, and the same young guy answered and told that the manager was away again. I feel that I was taken advantage of because for the few years, I rented closed trailers at that branch in Leduc, the manager never told me about any cleaning fees. On the day I rented the van, she never mentioned a $25 cleaning fee, and she knew the equipment was not clean either. If I had been informed of the cleaning fees, I would have mentioned the condition of the van when I was renting it that day or I would have cleaned the equipment myself before I brought it back. I do not think this is the right way of conducting business in the community and treating customers. I believe all customers should be treated equally. I do not feel that I was treated equally at this branch in Leduc. Besides, the fact that I called a few times trying to contact the manager and sort this out but I was not successful, and no one bothered to call me back to hear my concern until today I am making this report. I am making this report not because of $25, but because of the way I felt and how I was treated at the branch. I have proof of rental (contract), calls placed, I also took pictured of the equipment when I delivered it back after hour. I hope this matter will be looked into professionally as I have been renting U-Haul equipments for few years now. I am not sure I will again if I get treated that way. A copy of this report will be kept in my file as well.
ruphin kAlthough they didn’t have a record of me reserving a trailer, despite me personally going to the place to reserve it. They did have one available and it worked out well. Would use them again but will double check the reservation

Roy TThey were belligerent, aggressive, intimidating and not helpful. They overcharged me a day and refused to close my rental until the police came and made them do so. It will be 100% that I will never rent from a sub contractor of Uhaul ever again and it will be many months that I will not rent from uhaul as a whole I will also put a Google Review a bbb review and tell many people about this horrific rental.

Gail BWe were supposed to return the truck to Tempo in Leduc AB but they couldn’t take it because their computor was down. We contacted Traffic Division and they sorted the reroute to Supreme Paint in Leduc. However they charged us for cleaning inside the truck Which wasn’t a problem then assured us that the rest of our deposit was returned to our card. This still hasn’t happened. How long does this take .?
RONALD HFirst of all, it was a Sunday and no one was there.The location was hard to drive in, park, and the lock box was difficult to find. What bothered me the most of this experience (and the previous rentals have been awesome) was the $25.00 cleaning charge applied. The 26 foot truck was swept out and it was snowing the entire rental period of 4 days, so the floor would NOT have been pristine, but wasn’t full of dirt or mud, and swept….

Grant MThe site is small but still maintains some inventory. I called them directly and was rented a trailer for the day right away. I asked for a 4'x8' utility trailer. They st aside a 4'x8' covered trailer. I told them I wanted the uncovered one so they hooked up the small motorcycle one. It worked perfectly. Good people to deal with. Job well done!👍

Graydon SWell the visit was good at the start, the parking lot is small and the sun was directly in the mirrors so I couldn't see the lady pointing to go 5 ft left which normally isn't a big deal when backing up, just start over however she asked my son if I was stupid. Completely uncalled gor and I will tell everyone I know about how this store, this business calls their customers stupid.

Uhaul central switched pickup location from Edmonton to Millet but when we arrived there the location was closed so we were sent to Leduc ... Why we weren't redirected from Edmonton to Leduc in the first place we don't understand given it's location close to the airport where we arrived that morning and the number of trucks available at that location . ... the woman there was more then helpful and we were on our way in minutes

Randy CAfter dropping off your trailer... I asked you to comment on the $5.00 safe trip charge BEFORE you charge my mastercard. This didn't happen and the $5.00 charge went ahead immediately.This charge was not mentioned in your estimated quote. There's no explanation of what this buys me. There fore, this is an illegal charge. I will pursue legal action against your business practices. On another note, the staff said they would be there until 04:30. Your advertising said open until 05:00. I had phone the office at 04:15 to say I will arrive at 04:30 and will need assistance to drop off. But, the office was already closed and I was all alone with dropping off etc. Very disappointing.

Vinoy PThese trailer tires are garbage The lights quit working properly, shortly after leaving the pickup location... my vehicle is fine. The weather/ roads were bad and I was less than 2 hours past the 24 hour mark ,returned the trailer washed and much cleaner than I received and STILL got billed another day. The drop location was closed for the weekend soits not like they lost revenue. I feel gouged

Allan KI feel we were over charged for what was a couple pine needles in the back of a truck but then was told there was some type of spill but that for some reason they didn't have a photo of nor did we have any liquid in the truck and it was dry outside. It was a very over priced experience for an already not greatly cleaned truck

ADAM MI was charged twice when I dropped the truck off. It was muddy and required a car wash when it was returned. It had mud on it when I picked it up but I shouldn't be charged $100. I was also billed twice for the drop off. I don't understand how someone can just charge what ever they like. How do I get charged for renting a truck for a week and being billed 3 times for a total of over $1100. I will make sure my company never uses this company again.
