Improve customer service training, online reservations are not correctâ€¦.we asked for Auburn location and weren't told Oxford until day before pick up!!!! Better maintenance on the trucks! The side mirrors were loose & wouldn't stay in one place, kept moving every time we took a turnâ€¦.never will use UHAUL again!!!!walter M.

Nothing to do with pick-up location which was great, but overall experience was terrible. Reservations were made far in advance and truck provided was not what we ordered and much bigger. We had no choice but to accept it as we had flown to the location to pick up my elderly mother and drive her to our home within a set timeframe. While the UHaul representative said the larger truck was an â€œupgrade at no costâ€, it was not what we wanted, reserved and was more than we should have been driving. This forced truck put our family in danger and was unacceptable. I know Uhauls rentals are popular and in high demand, but this lack of safety made the experience harrowing and it is unlikely we will rent from Uhaul ever again.Alexander H.

I reserved a truck several weeks in advance, the day before my move I was notified this truck was not available and the nearest one was almost an hour out of the way for us to go pick up. I was not offered any help to bring the truck to the original location I had reserved it for, and nothing was taken off my bill for the inconvenience. I would like to complement U-Haul on its pricing and billing. It is so nice to see that when you offer a daily rate, the actual bill is the number of days times that rate, with no hidden add-on items. While this should always be the case, it rarely is. Thanks for being an honest company!Lawrence L.

This has been the absolute worst experience! Not only was Pete, the owner of the Surry Maine location, horrible - so was Ray of the Brunswick location who was called to provide â€œcustomer serviceâ€. Both men were completely rude, condescending and I believe both were sexist. My Uhaul box was not delivered, as contracted, and both men made it seem as if it was my fault even though I did everything correctly on my end and had documentation of both. My uhaul box was to be delivered but due to an error in the system, I had to drive 1.5 hours to the Surry location in pouring rain, unload my box into a uhaul truck, drive it 2 hours to the contracted delivery address - and then Pete insisted I return the truck that day... it was an additional 12 hours of moving when I thought all bases were covered. I would appreciate a call from someone in the corporate office - as I have major complaints about both Pete/Surry ME and Ray/Brunswick ME. I have never been treated so badly - and there was zero customer service. I do NOT recommend this service or this locationAbigail R.

The gentleman that sold it to me did not tell me how much he was charging my card for. Signed me up for 24/7 truck share and never said anything about it or how to use it. It took us two hours to get the key to a truck that we had reserved and paid for. The owner was in the hospital and the co-owner had no idea of what to do. The website gave us a number to the co-owner as a reference. She tried calling the district guy who was out doing other errands.Daniel R.
