Jessica was wonderful to deal with. The electronic machine she had to use wasn’t working properly. Not her fault. You need better interactive machines. I get a sense that ‘bare maintenance’ is the mantra of U-haul. Hope this does not apply to regular brake/tire/oil maintenance to name the 3 basics. Overall not that impressed.
KEVIN MNot really the location as the keys were dropped off as the vehicle was dropped off and we were unfamiliar with the new system so we were unable to complete the return. But it was completed once an employee came in

JOEY AOnly thing could be equipment availibility, I didnt have much to choose from. Would have preferred to rent the small cargo van, but it never seems to be availible at this location. Its availible further away, but when I was renting, I really didnt have the option of travelling further. The staff was fantastic tho, 5/5 the whole way!

Sharon MAllow customer to change drop off location after contract is signed. I was unaware of the option to drop off at alternate location and called to change and I was informed it was not possible. I had to haul trailer back empty for 500km.
CLAUDE RThe Sussex location was wonderful. I do however wish to lodge a complaint with with the first traffic coordinator who contacted me the day before our reservation to advise me that the location we had originally booked was no longer available and that we would have to drive an hour away to and from in order to pick up our truck. Normally, I would have understood but the man who contacted me (sadly I do not have his name) was rude, condescending and projected an attitude of "too bad so sad" if we wanted to move. Had he even apologized for the inconvenience I would have been fine but he did not. I was made to feel that it was my issue and not his problem. He did offer extra kilometers but the extra 2 hours of driving back and forth was an additional cost/time not planned in our limited budget and schedule. The staff at both pick-up and drop off locations were wonderful and I have no complaints about them at all. Please know that going forward, as a logistics coordinator for the government of New Brunswick, I will be sharing this story with my colleagues and will highly recommend alternative methods of transport specifically because of the way I was treated by this employee. Frances HU-Haul, what a terrible company. Their customer service reflects their cornering of this market. I made a reservation months before to pick-up in Fredericton, only for U-Haul to change my pick up location to Oromocto a week before (a closed office), and then to Sussex (an hour and a half) the day before. (A breach of contract). The Sussex office was wonderful. Great people, very understanding, timely, and efficient. I would like to be clear, the issue is with U-Haul, not the Sussex pick-up. When I called U-Haul customer service, they were not helpful, (felt like the Seinfeld car rental scene) they said the manager was out of the office and would call me back. They have not. I have called twice since, the manager is nowhere to be found. I will avoid using U-Haul going forward.
Benjamin PI had requested and was billed for a dolly and furniture blankets, neither were included. The wrong mileage on the truck was entered into the system, resulting in my being charged for 90 unused miles. It was listed in the system as 42,105, but it was actually 42,194.7 in the truck. I took a picture of it for my records after my app malfunctioned after I got the keys out of the lock box. The truck was dirty, and had cigarette ashes on the steering wheel.

Paul FGreat service for rental of motorcycle trailer. When I wanted to extend a day, I just called and it was done.
Rhoda WVery friendly staff who even helped me hook onto the trailer. The trailer was very well built and ran very smoothly even with a car on it. However, the Uhaul booking site was down for several hours. Even while at the rental centre they could not release the trailer until it was booked on the site. I was very frustrated with Uhaul and went home. Eventually the rental centre got the go ahead to take my personal info and release the trailer to me. The booking site was down for at least 5hrs. This is unacceptable to me in this day and age. Otherwise, I strongly recommend this trailer and the staff at Sussex Rent All.

David EService took an hour before we were even able to leave. Vehicle was unclean, smelt of smoke. Trailer we rented one of the straps was smaller then the other and not able to fit around the tire or the ATV we were loading on it. Very unhappy with this rental.

It took the owner of Sussex Rent All to comeback reopen his business so we could get the Truck. Excellent customer service from Sussex Rent All. Very poor customer service over the phone with Uhaul directly
