The truck was pretty dirty but it is a muddy lot. There was only an 1/8th of a tank of gas which wasn't appreciated.

The lot is dirty mud and my shoes got dirty when I left the truck. No sign for helping you to find their office location in that large lot. The road from street to the lot was so bumpy. Not recommended this location.

The trailer I rented had several issues. A flat right rear tire that required several fill ups during the weekend, it was dirty when i picked it up and required a sweep before I could use it. There was a definite issue with the hitch and ball assembly, and I feel there was excessive play in it that made a lot of noise during towing. I gave the dealer a list of issues and they didn't offer any reimbursement or incentive to ever return. I found the dealers office dirty and not a good representation of U-Haul.

The truck was filthy on the outside and needed sweeping on the inside. The trailer was so muddy on the inside that I had to put my pants and sweater in the laundry as soon as I got home. The parking could use some lighting, it was very dark at 640pm which made it difficult to backup the trailer. Staff was great and helpful during pickup.

Picked up the U-Haul rental and the truck was parked behind another truck next to trees. Snow all over the windows, wasn't cleaned for us. Check engine light was on and the tank was almost empty. Advise the employee. This is my favorite location and the employees are kind and professional. However it would be nice to at least have the trucks cleaned of snow and the gas to be at least 1/4 tank. However despite this, overall I like this location the best.

We had to go to 3 locations before they would accept the return. The second location refused to take the unit even though the head office had booked and reserved a drop off for us.

Unit has a drivetrain problem and had a annoying whine my hole trip. Plastic garbage covered inside the box. You would expect with the price you pay too have a clean and ready to go box van too move your stuff. Very disappointed and will probably go with Penske, enterprise, or any other company. This will be the last time I rent from U-Haul.

We were told when we picked it up that it was a brand new truck and that was not true. It was not serviced. The brakes were never checked on it and the truck was dirty on the inside. There was old food in the front of truck. And dirt marks it was never ever cleaned. The tow trailer they provided didn't have a proper working plug to keep the lights working. Half way through our cross canada drive rhe brake pad was gone. Because no one wants to service your equipment you put our lives at risk, it delayed our trip and set us back not only time but money. Because we had to switch trucks mid trip because no one can service vehicles we received a larger one because the poor customer service lady was trying so hard to get us another truck. The truck we then received the washer fluid didn't work properly to clean the windows. Again putting us at risk. This location and many others need to do better to stay on top of their equipment checks and maybe take the food that's left in trucks out so no one else has to.

The Symons Valley location was good to lend me a power adapter as my hitch was a regular trailer hitch and I had to rent the hitch itself. The 2 guys helped me put the trailer on and off the hitch. They had a knack for doing it. Not necessarily easy for the average person.

Sorry for the misunderstanding l just saw my final receipt and its correct now but about the vehicle l used was terrible. Couple times the tricky didn't start l got disappointed why l was given that vehicle which wasn't maintained well before its assigned.

Convenient. No hassle. Good hours. Easy to pick up and return. This service definitely makes the difficult endeavor of moving easier to manage.

Truck drives well, functions well, but not that clean. Truck only has 1/4 tank of fuel, which makes it a little difficult to fill to the exact 1/4 tank when you return it. Place is not well-lighted so we felt a little unsafe & uncomfortable when we did the after/hours return.

I was promised a uhaul in Drumheller at 9am 2024-01-05, it wasn’t there. I had to drive for 3 hours to pick up this uhaul and return to Drumheller. These guys were awesome, the people on the phone that saved me $300 was awesome. Fuck the Drumheller location I was meant to pick up at.

Rented what was suppose to be a 6’w x 12’l trailer with a ramp to move a 5 ‘ wide UTV. Drove two hours to pickup vehicle, upon loading discovered ramp opening was only 56” wide and box had hand fills of roofing nails and staples on the floor. Phoned agent to see if they could help me as there was another agent 20 minutes away, they could care less. Called U-Haul, reported issue, they said agent has 72 hours to call back. When asked what happens if they don’t, reply was ‘ nothing’, you can try and elevated it. All I had asked was they not charge me for trailer. They have done that.

Customer services rep at the location was unaware of the safety holograms on BC drivers licenses and was quite argumentative about my license being valid ID.
