Vehicles should be equipped with digital fuel tank meters. The standard meters leave too much margin for error. I believe I paid for a previous renters gas usage.David S.

The online check in process and return process was miserable. Thank goodness someone was there to do it manually. Also my reservation was changed multiple times without my knowledge. Had much better experience with U-Haul, but this location was not to blameJENNY W.
I would recommend this LOCATION. However, when I went to recheck that they had my application, there was none in the computer. That was the first time. When I went again (given the 1st experience) it was in the computer as Cancelled.Anthony H.

Have every other location train from them. Due to the are the extremely professional, friendly, helpful, work with and for the customer. Employees are smart, well trained and adversed in their jobs. The equipment is always are exceptionally clean and extremely well taken care of mechanically. All other locations in the area are not any of the things I described about TA Auto.Patrick P.

The rental place itself was friendly when I talked to them. But the truck showed up with a swastika on the side of it and a tire that blew out 30 miles into the trip. Uhaul corporate has been superficial and defensive when I talked to them about these things, one even straight up lied to me on the phone.JEREMY W.

The day prior to our scheduled pickup, the location and time were both changed. The late notice was a nuisance. We also ended up having to wait close to an hour after the rescheduled time to pick up the truck due to a late return. The staff, however, was very kind and apologetic. At the start, said the tank was 3/4 full on receipt, but half full. Charged me for blankets, even though I didn't use them. Blankets were still zip tied. Overall, very slimy experience. I will never use them again.Jeffrey B.

There were to many unhaul rentail signs on this particular building that made it misleading. Woman who checked is in was nice but there was some kid following her who kept interrupting and did not respect the distancing kid kept standing within inches of meAlana S.

My mother passed away and I needed a trailer to move her belongings from her home. I called before reserving to verify there would be no issue with me paying online via credit card. I reserved a large open 6x12 trailer with ramp. as soon as I booked the trailer turned into a small enclosed 5x8 cargo trailer. I canceled because his is NOT what I paid to reserve. The cancelation did no go through. My cousin and father went to get the trailer anyways. they changed the rental to a 5x8 open trailer. Then i was told that my credit card was only to reserve the trailer had not been paid for. At that point ******* paid cash for a 5x8 open trailer. At this point i had nothing to do with the transaction. I live in Amherst and never came near Jamestown. this rental was NOT in my name. The next day I get a call from someone saying the trailer I had rented had not been returned. I explained i had nothing to do with it, that i was not in town, that at no point was I ever in possession of the trailer and to my knowledge the trailer had been returned. The man I spoke with then told me he had no choice but to call the police and report it stolen because it was paid with cash and there was no credit card on file. I was hysterical. the police? This man was threatening to send the police to my home and the home of the person who actually reserved the trailer. the man kept calling me, asking for *** address and phone number, i was so perplexed. I have never heard of rentals going out with out the person having to provide identification and contact information. I eventually was able to get ahold of ***** who told me that he had returned the truck and would cover any late fees. He also told me that the rental was in his name, and they had a photo copy of his drivers license and all of his contact information. I heard nothing else about the situation until my debit card was declined at the grocery store for insufficient funds and I found a Charge for 121.48. I looked in my email and found an email addressed to Justin with an explanation of charges as follows: "Customer number: ***** Dear ******* (not my name), This email is to inform you that $121.48 has been charged to your credit card for additional charges related to your recent U-Haul rental. If you have any questions..." Clearly I am NOT *** and I did not authorize any of these charges. So the person at the Uhaul threatened me with the police claiming it was because they didn't have a card on file, harassed me claiming to not have Justin's information and then charged the credit card he claimed to not have!! This rental was not what i reserved, was not in my name, was not picked up by me and i am in no way responsible for theses charges. I can not believe the headache this has been. To threaten someone like me who is in mourning and then turn around and over charge with out authorization is appalling. I will be disputing these charges with my bank as well as i clearly am not **** and they were charged in his name under my card informationJUSTINALLEN R.

The lady that waitited on us had no clue what she was doing we had to start all over like 3 times then she didn't put the correct miles down so then our card got $40 extra taken off of it..i don't know about you but $40 is alot of money to my family...we should not have to pay for someone putting the wrong miles down to where we were moving !!!!sara P.
