When I arrived to pickup my truck, no one was able to do the job. Ive been told `the lady who take care of this just went to an appointment so wait for an hour !' Seriously !!! And my pre check-in have been made previously to avoid waiting time. I also checked for 20 blankets on the website and not a single one was available on site ! This is not a serious business ! Alexandre MI live 500km far North from Montreal. I've made the reservation from Uhaul website on Sunday December 7th to pickup the dolly trailer to December 10th to (8700 Boul Metropolitain Est Montreal, QC H1K1A7). I've did an hotel room reservation to December 10th near the supposed place the trailer pickup was scheduled (was a couple of km far from my hotel room). They (Uhaul - 8700 Boul Metropolitain Est Montreal) call me on December 9th to tell me they do not have the reserved dolly trailler to their place but rather to Sherbrooke... 150km far from Montreal. So, to be able to set my car pickup the time it was scheduled, I've to leave my place 1 day earlier, have to pay to get an hotel room again a night earlier with fee to revoke the first night. Have to ask my helper to go a day earlier than expected. Having to drive 150km more than expected. When inspecting the trailer before to leave with, I noticed a strap is broken on it (I've waved the woman there). No options available, I've to pick it up anyway now. Have to go to Canadian Tire to buy straps to fix the dolly with. Have to drive with it in Montreal and find a parking where I can park for a night with a trailer attached. It was a real struggling adventure because of Uhaul web site crap. Uhaul's reservation web tool is a crap as it do not really work according to trailer availability. Not funny at all!

Karl LJ'ai eu une belle expérience sauf au retour. Quand on m'a appelé pour me donner l'adresse du détaillant à Sherbrooke, j'aurais apprécié qu'on me prévienne qu'il serait fermé et de m'informer que je devais installer l'application de Uhaul. J'aurais regardé la vidéo en avance et je me serais informée de la procédure de retour. Le détaillant était fermé et personne ne m'a prévenue que cela pourrait arrivé. Ayant retourné la remorque avant le dîner, je m'attendais avoir quelqu'un pour m'aider à faire le retour. En plus, personne ne m'avait informée ou prévenue de la procédure de retour sur internet. Je croyais me faire bien accueillir comme celui à Montréal. J'ai attendu 15 minutes en ligne au téléphone dans ma voiture pour me faire dire de regarder une vidéo en anglais. Je ne parle pas anglais. La personne m'a dit "Désolée" et m'a dit rapidement les consignes en français que j'ai oublié en 2 minutes. Le lien m'amenait au site en anglais et je ne trouvais pas comment le changer en français. J'ai dû appeler ma fille pour m'aider. De plus, vous m'avez encore envoyé un site en anglais pour faire ce commentaire. Cela est très frustrant. Je ne vois pas comment le mettre en français. Il serait vraiment apprécié d'avoir l'option en haut de la page dans la barre d'options. Pour ce qui est de la remorque, j'ai eu une belle expérience. Il était en bonne état et l'employé de Montréal a pris le temps d'installer la remorque avec moi. L'employé de Uhaul de Montréal a été vraiment serviable et poli. Quel bon service!! SAUF qu'il ne m'a pas informée que Uhaul pourrait être fermé le dimanche à Sherbrooke pour que je puisse m'y préparer.
Nathalie VI ordered an moving devil. There was nothing in the truck and the customer service is really crap. It's like they really don't want to help customers or they hate people I don’t know but I would never go back there. They all the same.

sandra hThe final price of my reservation was about 80$ over what was first indicated when I reserved online. Nothing changed, same kilometers. So I’ll definitely go elsewhere if we cannot trust you’ll respect your announced prices (or at least be close).
Jan-Sébastien DJ’ai demandé 12 couvertures pour le déménagement mais il n’y en avait plus de disponible, alors prévoyez un plan b juste au cas pour n pas risquer d’abîmer vos meubles. Mais sinon tout a été super bien.

Richard HTruck was not cleaned, we had to remove a bench it in before using it. Please note that the bench was not even fixed to the truck, it was just there. The location didn’t remove it before hand. Also, I was charged for the insurance/warranty and didn’t ask for it nor take it during the reservation.
Simon BWe called the phone no. That was on the contract, but it never worked. It would cut the communication each time. We finally called a 1 800 no. And we were told to bring the truck back to this adresse. The next morning, a UHaul personnel called and let me know that she was not happy with this, because in her system it was mentioned that there was no place in this address. She has been unfriendly, acting as if we were children. Abuse of power. Very bad experience.
Muriel BWe were missing equipment. The blankets were thrown all over the inside of the truck. The truck was very dirty with leftover bottles and cans. And it smelled very heavily of cigarettes.
Victoria AThe vehicle wasn’t in great shape. Doesn’t accelerate, fuel efficient meter was always on low or 0 even if going downhill without pushing accelerator. Overall uhaul experience was ok to good, but some of the vehicles need to be improved (I’ve driven 10+ for context). Thanks!

MICHEL LIt is very nice to have a place where you can leave the rental truck after office hours. It makes a difference after a journey of moving things. Great idea!!
Sara RWe asked for a trolley and there was no trolley in the truck. It took about 40 minutes to take possession of the truck because the website was not very responsive. There was no confirmation of the completion of the return of the truck... overall it was a very bad experience...
Melanie DThe truck was not in a good state. Also, I rented the truck for 8:00 am (pick up with phone), finally, the app told me to wait for the renter to get the truck, the one opens at 8:30 am, and was in late of 15 min. I finally get a truck at 8:50. :-( But U-Hall website looks great :-)

Momar DCommis acceuillante au millieu d'un entrepôt ''embourbé''. Voici les clés, c'est un l'un des 2 camions dehors le numéro d'unité est écrit sur le porte clés! Avertissement de basse pression d'air: Ouin on le sait, nous avons mis de l'air hier ça doit être le capteur qui est brisé. Pas de climatisation dans le véhicule. Ah Ok on va le noter! Interieur de la cabine poussièreux, ( poussière de roche dans les portes goblets et sur le plancher). Au retour, Du fond de la cour, bonjour juste Déposer les clés dans la boite et bonne journée ? Donc sentiment partagé entre efficacité et confiance à 100 % ou pur laisser alller. Job Done, j'avais besoin d'un camion, j'ai eu un camion et surtout pas de problème!
Patrick MPoorest customer service ever. Impossible to find the information we are looking for. Call line got cut for no reason, no warning. Asked for a call back, and got called and transferred to someone and put on wait for half an hour. Email and text coming in with random information. No bill on contract was given to me. Returning a trailer was way more complicated then necessary. I was imposed a two day use, when I only needed one. Finally was sent a text randomly for a new drop place and the app finally worked when on site ...

Martin BNe pas charger les frais qui ont été décochés car j’ai dû faire des démarche pour me faire rembourser les assurances. Ce n’est pas honnête de les ajouter au moment du paiement alors qu’au moment de la location, ils ne figuraient pas sur le contrat. Un service en français est apprécié. Il a fallu que j’attende plus longtemps. Ce n’est pas normal au Québec.

gabriel hTerrible service with the self service app at 7AM. It took me 1h15 and note than 30 pictures if my licence and my face plus 3 calls with a reprentative to get access to the Keys. This was not good at -22°C with a tight schedule. Nothing to Do with the location tho!
William MSigning in online when we arrived was way too complicated. My boyfriend’s license picture was not approved 3 times, and we had to add a lot of informations two times, like his license number. The system should be simplified. We ended up getting inside to complete our reservation because it was not working. The lady was very sweet and gave us the Keys after checking our infos.
Franco KWhen I rent the truck, the personnel told me; The gas tank is full at 3/4 but it wasn't. To late to turn around so I had to pay 1/3 extra when I brought it back.
