When I tried to use the app to perform the mobile check-in as the location was closed, the app refused to accept any of the pictures that I was taking of the odometer and fuel level. After 1/2 hour of trying, I gave up and dropped the keys in the dropbox and left. Multiple rentals, everytime a different problem with the app.KEVINJOHN B.

I returned the equipment on time and asked the staff if there was anything else I needed to do - which they said â€œNo, you are all setâ€. For the next 4 weeks I was pursued by U-Haul collections as if I had never returned the equipment. I can only assume that the staff at Tar Heel Tire did not do their duty upon my return of the equipment.Nicholas T.

Not necessarily this location that was the problem, but felt like I was dealing with incompetent people consistently. Didn't have what I requested when I put in the order online. Then sent me to two different locations to pick everything up. Second location was closed. Then when I got a tow dolly from a 3rd location instead of an auto transport as requested the paperwork never got corrected. I returned the truck and dolly and they messed up again when I returned everything. Got multiple calls and emails saying I didn't return everything even after speaking with a manager on the phone. Had to then take time out of my 60+ hour work week to get this all resolved. People don't have time for this when they are moving. Process needs improved or people need to simply be better at their job. I don't expect things to be perfect but it would be nice if this experience was a little more logicalMichael B.
You people are the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE via website rental and confirmation of truck. We were directed to three different sites at the time we were supposed to pick up truck. Then I was told she was just going to cancel my reservation. Someone needs to investigate your practices.Meri B.
The left fender which is made out of plastic was badly damaged on my tow dolly and that was not pointed out to me when I picked it up hence, I don't like being given damaged equipment which later might be attributed to me!Vito V.

The left brake light,parking light and turn signal did not work on the tow dolly and the left wheel strap was badly worn and frayed which forced me to buy my own strap to compensate for this also the trailer was badly rusty incertain areas and just looked very old!Vito V.

Very convenient to have Uhaul vendor in Warrenton. The people at Tar Heel Tire are very helpful with the rental process. The van was nearly new and drove beautifully.James R.
Our original reservation was prepaid for in South Hill. Va. On arrival they were not open. A call to U-Haul sent us to Alberta, VA. There were cars and lights on but no service. We were then sent to the Warrenton, NC location. The $50.00 guarantee we are receiving doesn't make up for the 3 hours and fuel lost.Gary C.

There was no customer service. I was told the trailer is outside, here is the number on the trailer, hook it up. I have rented numerous trailers in the past six months and there was only one other location where I had to hook up the trailer on my own. There were also no pictures taken to ensure it was done properly. Site glad I knew what I was doing.James B.

The service was amazing from and timely. I was able to receive information over the phone which was extremely helpful as moving is very busy. They were quick and friendly and response time for checking in the truck was amazing. I truly appreciate how easy the process was.RUTHIE D.
I can't say enough about the great experience I got from dealing with U-Haul. I have dealt with them on and off since 1968. They have always been very helpful. This was by far the easiest and best experience yet. I needed to change my reservation at the last minute, not only did their employee help me out, she gave me credit for the extra mileage I had to drive to pick the truck up. Loading the truck was easy as well as unloading it. And the drop off was super easy. All I had to do was drop off the key and they emailed me my receipt. Plus, during the trip they stayed in touch with me via text messages making sure I was doing okay and where to turn the truck in when I got to my destination. I will not hesitate to use them again.Thank you U-Haul for a great experience.Darrayl D.

I had to return the u-haul after hours and the only way to do that was with my phone. Unfortunately, I could not connect to the internet using my phone and the u-haul website could not determine my location and thus I was unable to return the truck with my phone. We had to call customer service which was very inconvenient since it was late at night other than that it was a good experience.Davina W.

Gentleman entering info into computer had major difficulties understanding and getting info entered correctly. Registering ahead of time was complete waste of time. We had equipment like dolleys that were not on truck and had to go back second time to pick up. Registering online and asking for these items was no consequence if store employees are not going to look at your request. Now for the truck. WOW. What a beast. Does it ever get up and move. We want to commend U Haul for investing and choosing a high quality engine and transmission.Brian T.

Uhaul did not honor their commitment to have the correct truck at the correct location at the correct time making assumption which makes U look like j______'s I wasted time joyriding to find a truck and paying movers to twiddle their thumbs...oh butt for a $50 credit- hee haw..... will use Ryder next time.elwood J.
