When the drop off occurred the staff said the trailer had already been returned in their system so I must have done it on line and since the trailer wasn’t on the lot they had reported as being stolen. I assured the staff that nothing had been done online and was just now returning the trailer to which prompted a lot of conversation in a foreign language that I did not understand. Very unprofessional

Had an issue with Uhaul, this location did everything they could to correct the error, overall Uhaul experience was not as good as in the past but the location worked hard to make sure i was satisfied at the end.

The truck only had 28,000 km on it, and the air conditioning was not working. It was extremely hot, with an eight hour drive, I think I lost 10lbs that day.

Tom the owner is a asshole sorry but he is very ignorant . I returned the the truck washed inside swept out . No place to return my key. I told him and U-Haul when I booked I was moved my son. I had friends that had to work back in High Prairie sun 4 hrs away. So 7 am I do to this location and go into open store explain I return vehicle 2 am was leaving back home no one to return the key.This my only chance. Tom the owner kept in broken English said I just lend uhual not my problem you can't be here at 10 am Mon. I was always polite even with no sleep in two days . I told him I could not fill with gas but did the return on the U-Haul app sent in pics and was charged 215 I think gas. He just kept telling me to be quite he was owner and do the talk basically. I m putting all this on trip advisor to. Uaul should make sure if someone is renting equipment they have returned slot. Was not happy at all with that man . I worked as a manger and owner of my business in the past. I would never dare to speak to a customer like that.

There is always issues with their machines there and I wasn't notified about a deposit prior so it was a little frustrating. THe inside of the truck wasn't clean but I was in a hurry so I just left anyways.

There was a great deal of confusion this week using UHaul. I think in part because it was a busy weekend. In part because I was trying to make the most of a bad situation by trying to problem solve getting a truck at this small town location or nearby, which is difficult. Inventory was removed just prior to my attempted reservations. In the end all turned out ok, thanks to the relationship I have built up with the local rental location. I rent several times a year as a part-time mover in the surrounding communities.

What you can improve is not to make your customers drive 4 hours ONE WAY out of their way when there was an available truck in the city they live in. We had our uhaul booked almost 3 weeks in advance. Instead of upgrading us to a size we did not want or need you could have covered the additional $150 it cost us to bring the uhaul back. Not including the extra gas it cost for our personal vehicle. The insurance we were quoted was also only $32 yet we were charged $50. We tried to get you guys to compromise with us but a representative said there was nothing they could do. Our next move will not be done using uhaul if this goes unanswered.

We were told truck would be available at 7 am. We did not get our truck until 11 am. Engine oil and coolant level were low. There was oil in windshield washer reservoir. We had to use our own money to pay for oil and coolant to top up, we were never reimbursed. Because our pick up was so late we had to stay an extra day in Hinton, which meant staying at a hotel. An extra cost caused by Uhaul.

My comment is for overall uhaul not just specific location. Uhaul should always contact the customer if desired equipment is not available preferably 1 week ahead, so customer can plan for alternatives. Uhaul said their system updates only 48-24 hrs before the reservation date... I guess they have to improve this system because it doesn't serve the purpose of reservation.

There was a lot of confusion about the quote for reserving online, free upgrade when the reserved vehicle wasn't available, and quotes and estimates changed 3 times in 24 hours. Then the numbers didn't match the actual billing. The way rates show up on the different systems is very confusing and the UHaul reps could not adequately explain the reasons. Please look at clarity and consistency through out the quoting and billing process. We will be using uhaul again soon, thank you.

Trailer had flat tire which I took to the service store and waited for repairs, when I dropped it off at destination next day, I was asked why I was charged for two days rent. Just thought there was two day fee period.

I’m not so much upset with the location as I am with having to drive 2 hours out of my way to pick up a trailer after making a reservation and driving by our local U-haul place seeing they have the trailer, only to get a phone call a day before my move saying they don’t have any trailers and that I have to drive over 2 hours round trip just to pick up a trailer. And their only “compensation” was to keep the trailer for an extra day...even though I only needed it for one... I think I’ll be going to a different rental company next time.

My husband and I had asked for a 26 foot truck but apparently it wasn’t available so they offered us a 20 foot truck with a tiny trailer and it wasn’t sufficient so we had to get another 15 footer and I paid 475 less for dropping it off in crowsnest pass, he was designated for fernie and paid 1200$ plus. No one from uhaul has returned his messages regarding this issue so NO I will not be recommending your services and will be sure to rate it on yelp and any other social media site. You need better customer service on the phone. Also well as they need knowledge of Canada. We spent all day locating a car dolly your customer service team had no clue about Canada and the distance someone has to drive. Very incompétent

Terrible experience from start to finish. Your reservation system is a joke. Cannot rely on getting the equipment at all never mind at the location, date and time reserved for. The confirmation call and info I received the day before was inaccurate and just plain wrong. It goes on and on. Not pleasant for weeks leading up to the pickup date. Have to be desperate to use UHaul but little competition so .... the person at the Hinton location was fine no problem with her ... she helped me the most and was the only saving grace of the whole UHaul experience.??

The truck was muddy on the outside including windows/windshield. Clerk marked on the invoice half a gas tank; it was less but she said couldn't do anything because it was already on the computer. The invoice stated drop off date JUNE 24th at 6:00 pm. Paid $50.00 insurance on top of the fee.

This was the closest location for drop-off to Jasper, Alberta. Would have been more convenient if there was a drop-off location within Jasper.

The girl I picked up from was honestly horrible to deal with. She kept saying my card was declined and trying to charge it a she a credit card when I kept telling her it was a DEBIT VISA so probably had to be done on the machine and there was more than enough money. Not once did She mention my option to go get cash instead. It was easily the hottest day of the year so far and my child was getting anxious and she just had this stunned look on her face like she didn't know what to do. I rent uhauls quite frequently and she was not very pleasurable to deal with. She told me my rate was for 24 hours whether I returned it a few hours later or not. It cost almost 40$ to fill up and it was just below the full line, which seemed like way too much considering we did not drive very far at all. I didn't have the time or patience to question it as again super hot day with an infant child. the lady I dropped off with was a bit more pleasant but they are never very quick and it can get frustrating. It ended up costing me 130$ to rent it for one day so I feel like it shouldn't have been so much since I only made one trip. But will need to be more cautious of KMs next time for sure.

My rentals at this location have been smooth recently, but it's a small, rural location and I always get a bit nervous about inventory. Also, I feel I've learned how to manage my reservations so that they go a bit more smoothly, such as picking up the truck the night before so that I don't have to wait for the location to open the next morning. There have been times in the past when I was made to drive to the next community over to rent the vehicle. I understand the difficulties with the business side of this, but it would be nice to feel I could rely in the inventory being available more at this location.

Had to rent our unit from this location because no pick up location at our town. This meant a 80km drive to pick up unit, then an 80km drive with an empty unit to the location to load the unit. This 80kms is then assessed to our km allowance of 377km. I think because we could not pick a unit right from our town that this 80 Kms should have been deducted from our total, which would mean that we would not have been charged an extra fee for kms over our allotted 377. Kms charged should be for a fully loaded unit, not having to drive an empty unit 80km to load it and get charged for those. Everything else regarding the rental was excellent, the staff at both locations were friendly and very professional. Would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone. Thanks.

The only girl trained there was amazing and went above and beyond however she had issues with the computer due to a discount given for us having to pick up there instead of our town and she was interrupted a few times by staff asking for her help. Valuable employee Melissa I believe her name is.
