When we booked online it was to pick up a uhaul at 7am, and all of our confirmations said that, but then we weren't able to pick it up because Jeles only allows uhaul to be open from 10-330 for some reason. Then today it took 45 minutes to return the uhaul because the hadn't trained their staff so my husband figuring out the system for them.Calien P.

I use Uhaul several times a year. The only difficult thing about Uhaul in this location is availability of trucks. The Uhaul staff at this location is second to none and always goes above and beyond to sort things out with me and get me on my way. He should make his managers proud.Paul G.
That experience with uhaul is the worst experience I've ever put up with. I'll never use uhaul again. Everything from ordering to edson and being told I can't get one there cause of someone else. So off to the Hinton uhaul which is only an hour and a half out of my way but it is what it is. Told on the phone I could pick up trailer at 8:30. Well that wasn't true by any means (10am). Then off to get the trailer at 10 am. Was told by the uhaul on the phone that my hitch size of 2 3/16. Would work. Well it didn't. Uhaul should have gotten a trailer to edson like I was told there was going to be one and have proper knowledge of what works with trailers and what not. The guy I dealt with at the uhaul in Hinton was awesome to deal with. But uhaul online and phone were absolute garbage and for that reason I'll never recommend or use uhaul againjericho M.

Communication between the people working at actual pick up place and the people who work on the phones making the appointments. We originally set up to being the uhaul back at 4pm then was told we had to have it back by 12 noon instead, then when we tried to reserve another truck we were told we could keep the one we had until 4pm. This back and forth drop off time made the move needlessly stressful and I will never recommend uhaul services to anyone.Jenna P.

Nothing wrong with the pick up and drop off locations. The very negative thing about uhaul is the hidden fees. The invoice does not give you a clear itemized breakdown of how the total cost of the rental is calculated. Also, we were not told about the online check out â€” if this is not done you would be charged extra even if the trailer is already dropped off. Their hotline customer service is very poor â€” the agent would tell you the fee for the extension days but it's actually not ALL of the amount. So, uhaul, just a feedback, perhaps write the ONLINE CHECK OUT IN CAPS, BOLD, RED, LARGE FONT AND DOUBLE UNDERLINED, and, make your invoice clear by including all info about how you calculate the total cost of the rental. Also, why don't your trailers have lifting jacks??? Thank you.JOHN S.

My Uhaul is a rural location, therefore availability of trucks is sometimes a problem. However, the staff there are always helpful and friendly, and try to work with me to be able to rent the truck I need.Paul G.
I had an online reservation for a truck and a trailer to haul my car. At pick up time I made sure made sure it was a trailer i wanted and not a tow dolly. I actually lived behind the Tempo Jeles store so I did not need to get the trailer right away. I'd load the truck and get the trailer just before leaving. When ready to leave on Sunday the 23rd, I saw that the U Haul representative had selected a tow dolly instead of a trailer. I got damage to the rear mud flaps of my car as a result. I could not wait until the next day unless i paid for an extra unscheduled night at a motel so i took it and left extremely angry. Always had good service with U Haul. NOT THIS TIME. And the personnel in Quebec City did not take a picture of the damaged mud flaps.DENIS M.
Make sure fluid levels are adequate. The motor oil was way below the add mark. 2 litres of oil brought it up. Staff at the pickup location need to have a basic understanding of fuel economy of the trucks as to judge distance the trucks can travel and how much fuel is needed to get to the destination. I had to take the day off work just to accommodate you people. Then pay a driver to get home. Ridiculous! The truck upon pickup was filthy in and out. The strap broke on our car hauler. When the drop off occurred the staff said the trailer had already been returned in their system so I must have done it on line and since the trailer wasn't on the lot they had reported as being stolen. I assured the staff that nothing had been done online and was just now returning the trailer to which prompted a lot of conversation in a foreign language that I did not understand.
