When the drop off occurred the staff said the trailer had already been returned in their system so I must have done it on line and since the trailer wasn’t on the lot they had reported as being stolen. I assured the staff that nothing had been done online and was just now returning the trailer to which prompted a lot of conversation in a foreign language that I did not understand. Had an issue with Uhaul, this location did everything they could to correct the error, overall Uhaul experience was not as good as in the past but the location worked hard to make sure i was satisfied at the end.

The truck only had 28,000 km on it, and the air conditioning was not working. It was extremely hot, with an eight hour drive, I think I lost 10lbs that day.

Tom the owner is a asshole sorry but he is very ignorant . I returned the the truck washed inside swept out . No place to return my key. I told him and U-Haul when I booked I was moved my son. I had friends that had to work back in High Prairie sun 4 hrs away. So 7 am I do to this location and go into open store explain I return vehicle 2 am was leaving back home no one to return the key.This my only chance. Tom the owner kept in broken English said I just lend uhual not my problem you can't be here at 10 am Mon. I was always polite even with no sleep in two days . I told him I could not fill with gas but did the return on the U-Haul app sent in pics and was charged 215 I think gas. He just kept telling me to be quite he was owner and do the talk basically. I m putting all this on trip advisor to. Uaul should make sure if someone is renting equipment they have returned slot. Was not happy at all with that man . I worked as a manger and owner of my business in the past. I would never dare to speak to a customer like that.

There is always issues with their machines there and I wasn't notified about a deposit prior so it was a little frustrating. THe inside of the truck wasn't clean but I was in a hurry so I just left anyways.

There was a great deal of confusion this week using UHaul. I think in part because it was a busy weekend. In part because I was trying to make the most of a bad situation by trying to problem solve getting a truck at this small town location or nearby, which is difficult. Inventory was removed just prior to my attempted reservations. In the end all turned out ok, thanks to the relationship I have built up with the local rental location. I rent several times a year as a part-time mover in the surrounding communities.

What you can improve is not to make your customers drive 4 hours ONE WAY out of their way when there was an available truck in the city they live in. We had our uhaul booked almost 3 weeks in advance. Instead of upgrading us to a size we did not want or need you could have covered the additional $150 it cost us to bring the uhaul back. Not including the extra gas it cost for our personal vehicle. The insurance we were quoted was also only $32 yet we were charged $50. We tried to get you guys to compromise with us but a representative said there was nothing they could do. Our next move will not be done using uhaul if this goes unanswered.

We were told truck would be available at 7 am. We did not get our truck until 11 am. Engine oil and coolant level were low. There was oil in windshield washer reservoir. We had to use our own money to pay for oil and coolant to top up, we were never reimbursed. Because our pick up was so late we had to stay an extra day in Hinton, which meant staying at a hotel. An extra cost caused by Uhaul.

My comment is for overall uhaul not just specific location. Uhaul should always contact the customer if desired equipment is not available preferably 1 week ahead, so customer can plan for alternatives. Uhaul said their system updates only 48-24 hrs before the reservation date... I guess they have to improve this system because it doesn't serve the purpose of reservation.

There was a lot of confusion about the quote for reserving online, free upgrade when the reserved vehicle wasn't available, and quotes and estimates changed 3 times in 24 hours. Then the numbers didn't match the actual billing. The way rates show up on the different systems is very confusing and the UHaul reps could not adequately explain the reasons. Please look at clarity and consistency through out the quoting and billing process. We will be using uhaul again soon, thank you.

Trailer had flat tire which I took to the service store and waited for repairs, when I dropped it off at destination next day, I was asked why I was charged for two days rent. Just thought there was two day fee period.

I’m not so much upset with the location as I am with having to drive 2 hours out of my way to pick up a trailer after making a reservation and driving by our local U-haul place seeing they have the trailer, only to get a phone call a day before my move saying they don’t have any trailers and that I have to drive over 2 hours round trip just to pick up a trailer. And their only “compensation” was to keep the trailer for an extra day...even though I only needed it for one... I think I’ll be going to a different rental company next time.
