The back of the 10 foot U-Haul van that I got was dirty to where I had to vacuum it out. The inside of the cabin is also dirty with leftover receipts from previous customers. There were a lot of unexpected charges for the five hours that I had the van. When I ordered it through the app, it said it was $40 for the day well after having it for five hours, I spent $95.00 I will not be renting again

Everything was perfect, but it just didn’t have cruise control on 15ft maybe that was how it designed or it might had that I didn’t see. 15h drive without cruise control was something else lol. And I felt that steering wheel was little bit crooked might need alignment other than that everything was perfect I highly recommend U-Haul that’s the only place I reserve from!

Bethany UWe had reserved and paid in advance for a dozen moving blankets and a moving pallet. We didn’t find out until we were there to pick up the truck the morning of our move that they did not have our supplies. This left us scrambling to try to find equipment elsewhere and were unable to do so at the last minute. Our move was more difficult due to their lack of attention to what was needed/requested by their customer (us).

Jacob AThe attendents were helpful and nice, the issue was Uhaul had to change my pickup location because my truck size couldn't be guaranteed. And at this new pick up location, self serve was not possible, but I was never alerted until I arrived at my truck and the site said "no equipment assigned." So I had to wait 30 minutes for Uhaul to wake up while the gas station was open. Uhauls lack of coordination and communication was an annoyance.
Jordan WVery strange situation that I don’t have the energy to fully type out. However, because I would bring the truck back every night and pick it up the next morning to move a little off of the truck, I was told it was a weird situation and that I could not use the truck anymore and had to get all of my belongings off of it. I was told that I’m not banned from using U-Haul but I just can’t use that location. Which is even weirder. When getting my items from the truck the clerk in the gas station came out several times and asked if I was finished getting my things after I gave him the key to the truck. He was sketchy in a few ways that don’t feel like explaining after moving everything I had today. Avoid this location if you can. They will not reach out to you if there is something going on with your U-Haul or have any concerns. Instead you’ll receive an email from corporate days later saying “they been attempting to contact you”.
LaTesha SU-haul was scheduled for 7am and when we arrived the u-haul was there but we were unable to pick up because the vehicle was not assigned to us. We had to wait till 8am to receive the keys so we were an hour behind on our move and had to pay a fee for the buyers of our home because there movers had to work over the time they projected.

The one who should have checked us in didn't know how to do so and I had to check in using your app. The app was hard to use and didn't finish with a positive message that I was done. When we arrived, the truck was there and ready but there were no pads. I needed pads and had ordered some, so had to drive 20 miles/35 minutes to another location to get pads. The truck worked fine. I returned it about 20 minutes late due to the delay getting the pads. This morning I saw the receipt and saw I was charged $15 for "Safe Move" coverage which I had not ordered.

Ended up at the most recent location texted, which was not the location I ultimately had to take it to. Staff did not help at all at original location, just told me to drop it in a certain spot and fill out the self return form. During filling out that form (after I had already disconnected from my vehicle) I found out I was at the wrong location. Made it to the correct location, and had to figure out where to park trailer myself, unhook it myself, and fill out Self return paperwork because Staff was unable to help with the return.
ANTHONY SNothing. This was an operating gas station. We had to let the employee take care of her gas customers while we waited. It was no inconvenience to us, but we were not in any hurry.
Matthew SWith being in a gas station and there was only a single person working both positions, it went pretty smoothly. Sharon helped me out with my rental and was very helpful and kind. I would recommend this location if you are in need of a U-Haul truck or trailer rental.

Kelly PCustomer service rep was very RUDE and threatened me with “I don’t have to rent you a truck. you can go someplace else.” Very discourteous. Impolite. Horrible personality to have to deal with to rent a U-Haul. While I was there she was on the phone with another U haul rep insulting me and making deragatory comments about me. If I am asked to use this location again, I WILL NOT use U-haul. This woman needs to be let go. I cannot believe U-haul has workers like this. I would be happy to discuss further if someone would please reach out to me.

Andrew MThe 20 ft truck I reserved well in advance, was not there at pick-up time. Had to go with 15 ft truck instead, which was barely enough room for all my stuff. It all worked out but the truck I reserved should have been at the location I reserved it for.

Daniel CI had a guaranteed reservation for a 15ft truck that they didn't have the keys to so instead they had a 26ft truck that I had the use and it was in need of a maintenance check the engine stalled as well as complicating the trip. If I wasn't on a schedule I wouldn't have used this place,but yes to reserve and not have the equipment I reserved pissed me off i will not recommend this location to friends/colleagues

James MI assumed that they were going to hookup the trailer and verify that my vehicle and hitch was good and lights were working. In stead they told me I was good to find the trailer and hook it up myself.
Rich BI rented a 6x12 box trailer that was parked down in incline through and against a fence. It took myself and a gas station customer 20 minutes to get it hooked up. The trailer didn’t have a front tongue stand and they didn’t have a jack to get it off the ground.

Joshua RWhen we dropped truck off person said I just need keys and that was it. Great for dropping off. Not so great for the check out process. Would have like a receipt or record of truck being dropped off. Did receive the final invoice several hours later but they didn't even check odometer when dropping off. I know this is a small thing but as far as renting, the attention to detail will assist both renter and rentee as far as claims are concerned.
Matthew RI had the absolute worst experience with Uhaul I rented a uhaul that was in terrible shape in the back filled up with trash. Sent me back and went to another location and couldnt get acccess to the truck there. Finally had to drive 25 miles away to find a truck and never got any compensation or anything. Riley B1st off I picked up the truck at a gas station. The woman that waited on me was on the phone with I guess her U-Haul boss and waiting on customers getting gas, coffee etc. very unprofessional. 2nd I had reserved a dolly which she told me there wasn’t any, when I asked if that was deducted she told me to look in other trucks for one. I didn’t know I now work for U-Haul.

Jane GIt took an hour to do the questions on the computer and then had to do it all over again by telephone with the owner. And I was supposed to get a car hauler trailer but it was gone so had to settle for a car dolly. Not happy.

Employees there had better things to do than assist customers.
william jI was charged for a hand dolly and there was not one on the truck. I didn't realize this until I got to the location where I was picking up the furniture. I had to rent a dolly at a local hardware store for $10.00. When I returned the truck to the U-Haul rental location, I told the person at the counter that there was no dolly on the truck. She pointed out that the dolly was sitting on the side of the building. I went outside to look, and it was still there. It would have been more logical that they have the dolly already on the truck for me. Even if I saw a dolly sitting outside how would I know I was supposed to take that one. I went back and asked if she could take the charge for the dolly off of the bill. She told me that she could not make any adjustments to the contract upon return of the truck. I'm disappointed with this situation. It cost me additional money and time to find a dolly to rent. I think any person in this, or a similar situation would believe that everything paid for on the contract would already be loaded on the truck and ready to go and should not have to look around the building.
William LWas surprised that clerk didn't go over vehicle with me at pickup, just gave me the keys after checking my ID. Did state that the fuel was at 1\4 tank and that's where it had to be when I returned vehicle. Returned vehicle earlier than expected, put 24.7 miles on it and put enough fuel back in it to return the level to 1\4 tank at this businesses gas pump. Went inside, told clerk I was returning a vehicle, gave her the keys and asked if she wanted to go over vehicle with me and she stated "no" and that I would receive a receipt later in my email. I should have made her check vehicle before I left, my mistake. I got my receipt later and to my surprise I was charged a fuel service fee and charged for 4 gallons of gas and the level on the receipt indicated fuel level between 1\8 and 1\4. I should have taken a pic of the level before giving the clerk the keys, again my mistake for being too trusting. I put almost 3 gallons of fuel in to return to the level I received it. So with what I put in and the additional 4 I was charged would make a total of 7 gallons. 7 gallons of fuel for 24.7 miles. That is roughly 3.5 mph. This is a total rip off and I will not rent from this location (13500 Tesson Ferry, St Louis Mo) again and strongly recommend taking pics of everything for proof. Also, check the security cameras as it will show I was at the pump at 3:35 pm putting gas back in your vehicle.
