The attendant was very friendly & helpful. There wasn't any debris in the cab or trailer but the cup holders were nasty. The steering wheel was a little sticky. The truck would sometimes not shift into the next higher gear until it was at 3500 RPMs. The rental process was very simple & quick.

I needed to rent a trailer on very short notice (1HR) So I Headed to the local uhaul /Gas Station close to Hey 141 and Tesson Ferry Road. The very knowledgeable couple behind the counter had just what I needed and had me in and out within 15 minutes. These folks know there business inside out and have both Trucks and trailers. We reserved for the Baumgartner location. We received confirmation email that I assumed confirmed our order as is. Did not read email thoroughly to catch that UHaul switched our choice of location and pick up time. Email should have been flagged as ATTNETION: YOUR CHOICE OF LOCATION AND PICK UP TIME HAS BEEN MOVED TO ANOTHER LOCATION AND PICK UP TIME. That would have been beneficial information.

We were lucky another employee from a different uhaul was there and he had a jack for the trailer. Thank goodness because our trailer had no jack.

Trailer had been left off stand so had to lift onto towing ball. Trailer was dirty inside and pretty beat up overall. Staff member was very helpful however, and helped me with unhitching when I returned the trailer.

The truck was pretty worn out visually and mechanically. Also either we were lied to about the tank actually being full when we picked it up or it averaged about 5mpg. I know it isn't a Prius but that's awful even for a box truck especially considering our move was almost entirely highway. This was my first Uhaul experience and while I wouldn't say I was impressed it did get the job done.
