BRIAN LThe “office” is a rundown car stereo shop. The trailers are in a grass field. The trailer itself only had a single turn signal on one side and the rest of the lights didn’t work: however, I did not realize this until three hours into a seven hour drive because somebody behind me told me so. The person I picked it up from did not check to see if a single light worked. Also, one tire was extremely low, which was not tended to at the dealer and I had to add air before embarking on my drive. Definitely not impressed and I’ve rented multiple trailers and haulers before, never having an issue.
Cherie FWhoever is in charge of customer service for Uhaul should be fired. I made the reservation on the website and it was all confirmed to pick up the tow dolly in Toppenish and drop it off in Auburn. But when i called the Toppenish location i had to leave a message. I called them back three times and left two messages and no one returned my call to confirm that the equipment was there and that they needed for the mandatory inspection. I had to call the national number and got the reservation changed to pick up the dolly in Sunnyside. When i picked up the dolly the person who checked it out told me i could return it at any location in auburn. Fast forward 560 miles of towing my nieces disabled car and I arrive in Auburn to return the dolly. I called the Auburn U haul location at 423 Auburn Ave and told them that I was returning a rented dolly and needed to know what time their location closed. But when I arrived at the location a man came out and told me that the location didn't accept dollys and that I would need to go someplace else. I let him know that this was one more example of uhaul's poor service and he said, "Yeah, i hate you too. This is a car dealership and i only have it here as a favor to someone." So, I called the national number to find out where i could return the dolly and when they looked up the reservation they said I was supposed to return it to a location in Seattle. i explained that while i live in Seattle, the reservation i made on the uhaul website was for the drop off location to be in Auburn. As i was on the phone with the national office, a man named Mike came up to my truck and introduced himself as the general manager of that uhaul location. He was polite and helpful. A far cry from the other employee who approached me initially. I returned the dolly at the 277th location and the woman there was very helpful. Uhaul has a lot of work to do to improve their website reservation system as do the branch locations I mentioned.

David RWhen I arrived I could not find anyone the doors were open but no one was available I did everything online and still no one I proceeded to put keys in drop box and then someone came out and said nothing thank god for online drop off other wise I might have been there for awhile

Tranquiliono HFirst checked availability and cost. Found it for 6hrs at~$70. Came back a few minutes later to reserve and find it now 2day minimum at ~$160. Seems the standard bait and switch with online search programing.

I was truly blessed by them and would always recommend them any of your moving needs. I pray that God gives them both a wonderful blessing that they truly need. Joseph RHe was too in rush that he didn’t even tell me which truck was it. He just gave me the keys and said make sure u check it before leaving. I had to try 2 different trucks of same size in order to know which one I had rented. He also gave me a different return address than I had asked for. I told him the one on non hill because I didn’t want to go in through town but he said no because the other one was closer, and it wasn’t closer because I had to drive right by nob hill one to get to the other one.

Laurie EI felt it was a bother to drop off my u-haul because he had so many trucks in the yard I introduced my self but was greeted with yes I know you don't have to tell me then I started to tell him I was told to bring the truck back with 3/4 fuel but I went over a bit and he told me I wasn't get reimbursed ! I said I don't want reimbursed I was just letting him know he wasn't friendly I just walked away till he was done looking over the truck ... and I need to rent another truck but I'm not dropping it off at that location the next time thank you u-haul for the use of the 26 ft truck it was a strong running piece of equipment

Todd DI was charged an extra fee of $85 at the drop off location. Customer service was terrible. Would not recommend Uhaul.
Scott BStop using 3rd party companies to rent trucks or at least ensure that you inspect these companies so that the U-Haul brand is not associated with locations like this one. The truck was dirty both in the front and back, they did clean the back out but not the front. There was also so many bugs on the windshield I could not see out until I went to the gas station and cleaned it myself. Also, there was a dent on the passenger side and when I brought it up, the gentleman said something about self check-in being why it was not marked.

Martin GThe only thing that went good that he was there after hours after I dove a hour out of my way to get truck. I didn't get put on 24/7 pick up and the truck was filthy inside and out. Then he told me to make sure and clean the truck before I returned it. I got a truck. So that's the only plus. I did have to spend $120 on fuel because I was about 97 miles out of my way to get the truck. And an additional 3 hrs to transport to starting point of my job.

Calvin OOrdering and picking up a auto carrier trailer was an absolute cluster f__k. We were able to get the truck near Issaquah, WA. We could not get one near by, and agreed to get pick up the auto trailer in Yakima, WA which was on “our route” to Metcalf, KS. When we arrived in Yakima, they did not have our car carrier. They said we were notified the day before. I showed them that we had not receive a text or e-mail like all the other information. The rude sales admin and manager told us that we received a phone call from Lake Mossess, WA. Note: all other corespondence after the original order has been txt or email. We did receive the call with an unknown area code which we do not respond to for obvious reasons. The two mental giants gave us the U-Haul traffic number rather than going on their computer to assist us. Trafficking was able to locate another trailer approximately an hour away and well off the Interstate. Please note that the pricing was higher than originally quoted. The new U-Haul rep was very helpful.
Ray RMy wife ordered furniture pads. They were supposed to be in the truck. When we go to our destination, they were not there. We still got billed for them.

Allison SNo one was around. I yelled at a guy who was sleeping in the back room who went back to sleep. I do not recommend talking to anyone just drop your trailer off, and do app requirements and leave.

Jonathan CI attempted to call to confirm the uhaul changes to my reservation, as advised in a text from uhaul. I called multiple times with no answer and the voicemail box full. I called uhaul to advise and was not listened to. After driving 40 minutes to get there, I waited 20 minutes for someone to help me. The store was empty. The staff arrived, got the contract and took payment. He did not come out to walk around the trailer or help us connect. We had to go back inside and wait for him because there was no wiring to connect the trailer lights to our van. All and all I am a very upset customer with this whole reservation.

Mike EThe place was fine. Not as clean as a UHaul location, but it wasn't as terrifying as people made out in the reviews. The owner didn't answer the phone the day before because "he didn't recognize our number". I do that, but as a business, you can't take that luxury. I ended up stuck with the wrong truck at the last minute. He was polite however. The location was fine. I'm not pleased with UHaul's shenanigans with our "guaranteed" truck. I selected a truck 45 minutes away for that guarantee and it wasn't available. And the woman on the phone was useless repeating the same thing repeatedly that made no sense and her discount price wasn't accurate. Not very please with our experience overall.
Theresa BWe were supposed to drop this truck in Prosser, WA. I then received a call that we had to return the truck to Sunnyside, WA, this caused our mileage to go over the allotted amount, that is not Teto's fault but Uhaul. It also took us out of our way to return it.
Kimberly Plied about truck being filled with gas, was in such a rush didn't notice is was on half a tank. Truck was dirty and the place itself was nasty. People were not wearing masks per WA public health ordinance and smoking inside the store. I would never recommend it again
Eric WVery poor experience! I was forced to drive over 110 miles to pick up and drop off the 15' UHaul truck. The company "gave" me an additional 50 mile mileage allowance BUT I had to pay the cost of the fuel to pick it up! Not acceptable. Then when I didn't fill the tank to exactly the line on the fuel gauge, they had the nerve to ding me an additional $10+! Not acceptable.
Carol JFelt VERY unsafe, equipment being rented out of a sketchy audio buisness/taco joint . Fortunately I was well armed, but it still left me very uneasy: I would never want to return to this area again. The equipment was stored in an overgrown field that I was required to drive through to pick up, but before I could even do that, private vehicles had to be moved to gain access. The whole experience felt like a shady drug deal/illegal activity.
