Byron BWon’t use with electronic pickup truck ver again. Hard to get an access code to enter/leave facility. When I went to drop off the truck, o called three times without anyone answering the phone. Combined with app crashing during check out and not being able to submit photos or find out where to park the truck the drop off took almost an hour in the Texas heat. Definitely not a pleasant experience. Particularly when the last lady (my call was transferred 4 times) at UHaul talked over me and then hung up on me. Plus, the movers I hired no-showed on me. They kept stringing me along for 6 hours saying a replacement crew was coming. We were supposed to meet at 1:00. At 5:15 they called to say they’d be out in another hour. We were already loading the truck as we had been kicked out of the building a hour before. Absolutely the most frustrating, infuriating and disappointing moving experience ever. I’ve used UHaul successfully many times, but now really questioning if it is worth the hassle and terrible customer service.
Clayton SWe originally reserved a truck at a closer location that we were familiar with. We received a call the day before and they changed our rental to this location. When we arrived, there was a gate which we were not informed of a code to enter the gate after several calls and waiting on hold we were finally able to get the gate code, this was very frustrating
Kevin MAbsolutely the WORST Uhaul experience I have ever had. My reservation was at 9am and I wasn't able to get a truck until 12pm. The office wasn't even open whatsoever, I had to call the office number to get a hold of someone. It took her more than an hour to show up and then another 30 minutes to get my reservation complete. I cannot believe the lack of customer service this place had. I will never recommend this place.
Tyler SI was trapped inside the gate at the facility and the operator would not answer her phone to let me out even though she had let me in 5 minutes prior. Had to disable the gate to get out. 5 days later I still haven’t gotten a call back
Rustin AIt was a gated storage facility that we could not access. Uhaul didnt give us a code and so we were outside in the rain for 20 minutes trying to call someone when a renter of a unit stopped by and let us in. Stop using this place!
john tThis is primarily a Uhaul problem. The drop off location was not open for business at the appointed time. Further, the gates were locked and there was no code given by Uhaul to enter the premises. Fortunately, after about 20 minutes on the phone to customer service, Uhaul was able to find me an access code. Uhaul (and the drop off location) need to do a better job coordinating. There was no information given to me that there would be a locked gate, no one there, no one to call, and facility not open. This was a 25 minute drive to drop off, which was 24 minutes further than another Uhaul location that I had requested but Uhaul refused. Further, it was difficult to get customer service on the phone, and that information was not readily available from the phone app. Overall, a very poor job in executing return of the vehicle.
Thomas SPlease highlight the importance of copy the entry code because people need it to get out this location. I need call the owner to get an exit code.
