The truck had not been swept out upon pickup. We had to drive out of Roanoke to pick up when we ordered one in Roanoke. This took time out of our moving. Yes we were offered that mileage coverage back to Roanoke. Took us an hour round trip in our own vehicle plus our gas to retrieve the truck.

Blair MOur pick up location was changed the night before our move and we were not told during our confirmation over the phone. This uhaul pick up location was 30 minutes away from the original pick up location and set us back on our timeline by just shy of 2 hours. We waited in line for a quite a while as this seems to be a very busy gas station. Once we got to the front on the line the man would ask us a few questions, tell us to step aside, help several more customers in line, have us come back up, ask a few more questions, have us get back out of line. This happened numerous times and it was clear that they needed another staff member to assist with the uhaul rentals. They also did not have the utility dolly that we paid and asked for in our original request.

Barrett WOnly thing need to park the trucks in a better place so they don't get stuck when it rains. Had to wait for the truck to be pulled out because it was stuck in mud.
Rebecca TCustomer service was great. The location is shared with a gas station/mini mart so there is a lot of traffic when checking out and the internet service was a bit slow. I would recommend allowing for 30 minutes to get checked out. But the woman at the desk was very sweet.

ANDREW HAlthough this was the closest location to my home, it was still so far away that all my "free miles" was used just to get it to my home. It would seem more appropriate to determine how many miles there are to your home and then add to that the "free miles" so that you can at least get some benefit from the "free miles" for the actual need that you rented the truck.

Mike JCell phone reception is poor and the rental process was slow as a result. The clerk/rental agent was positive and very helpful, but was taking care of convenience store customers also. She needed additional help as the store was understaffed. Her courteous and attentive manner was exceptional and as a result, my rental process was positive despite the store understaffing. The vehicle was clean, gas tank was full and the overall experience was positive.
Robert BGetting the truck took an hour, I had trouble with the app and had to call the 800 number twice. The back was not swept and at the end of the day a $30 truck with no insurance costed me $100. I won't be getting a uhaul again. The lady that helped me at this location was great though. The location was not the problem.

Darlene NThey need someone there that knows what they are doing when you rent and return them trucks. When we returned no one was there that knew what to do. We had to talk to someone on the phone and wait till someone came down there. They were the one that had I did not owe anything. But I still had to pay the 38 for the gas which I did.theysaid the 80.04 would not be took out of my account but you did it anyway I need my money refunded.

rita jI was told u haul would give me extra time due to excessive weather issues. Truck got stuck in mud from tropical storm Nicole. Took a couple days to get out. But u haul charged me for all extra days. Disappointed in you. I have worked with you over the years many times, about 5 this year alone. So get the full extra days fee was a disappointment in your service.
N KI was needing the truck to move many balloons and only needed the 10’ truck so I reserved a 10’ truck they reported as available. The night before going was informed that it was not available and the 15’ truck would have to be used. I was a little nervous using a bigger truck, but I managed it ok. Requested to drop off in the area I was bringing the balloons instead of driving that big truck back and uhaul fixed it for me so I could just drop it off there one way. Overall it wasn’t to bad just wished I was able to have had the 10’ truck.

William HMade me drive 21 miles in the wrong direction one way, while passing multiple uhaul sites! I am not your employee. If you need a particular truck to he somewhere, YOU can pay someone to drive it there! My time, gas money, and mileage were stolen from me.

Hannah SWas told fuel was full. Gas cap was dangling. Noticed fuel was at 5/8 and cargo area dirty and had a bad odor of trash. Called renter and was told to come back to exchange trucks. Couldn’t do because of schedule. Was told she would call Uhaul and call me back. Called me back stating that the best Uhaul could do was to allow me to return the rental in Florida on empty, which I did but was told that there were no notes stating that I could and I was charged $140 for fuel and service charge. Called renter and she remembers telling me I could return it on empty and she was going to call Uhaul and get back to me. Still waiting. If not reimbursed I will dispute the charge on my credit card
David BAfter having a nightmare pick-up of our truck at our starting location, it was nice to have an employee attempt to be helpful when we returned the truck to this location. All went quickly and smoothly. Would definitely recommend!

The manager was on point with everything. The equipment was in great shape, no issues and clean inside. Everything with my rental went smoothly from A to Z. I highly recommend this location for all your u-haul rental needs.

Anna LWe were processed for one truck, then they messed up and processed for a different truck. The employee gave me her personal cell phone number for me to call if we had any trouble but she did not answer my call or text. Her voicemail was full as well. When dropping off the truck we were charged over $200.00 when the girl told us it was going to be $97.00. We were so tired from moving that we just don’t have it in us to call to get refunded. The truck struggled some to start due to possibly a poor battery. The truck had not been swept out after the prior rental. That was not a big deal cause it only had little toy bugs in it (dragon flies, spiders, etc). The biggest issues were the lady processed two different trucks and the end price was over double what we were told:( it was poor service, would never get a uhaul from that location again.

Jackie KTrailer was definitely a problem. Surge brake kept bucking and releasing. Trailer swayed side to side horribly empty and loaded. I'm a CDL class A driver so it wasnt me or my vehicle. But it got the job done for a fairly decent price. Just hope it hasnt damaged my suburbans' suspension or sway linkage. Both pick up and drop off location girls were top notch and very friendly and professional.
