ROBERTA MWell, for starters, the person, checking us in on the return, could smile maybe once. The truck was not clean. The front door didn’t open all the way because of a previous accident and advisor on the driver side wouldn’t stay up, so it kept falling down off of the hook that it supposed to lock into that was kind of dangerous

TONYA WFirst truck had check engine light. Location did not have furniture pads. Was told I could not use the full 24 hours of my reservation extension, to return the truck by 9am instead of 10am.
CHRISTOPHER POverall pleasant experience! Friendly staff and easy process. The only way our rental experience could’ve been better is if the gas tank at pick-up was at least a quarter full. Thank you for seeking customer feedback!

KENNETH DThe truck was dirty— empty bottle in driver side cab. Steering wheel, radio knobs were very grimey - no wipes in truck to clean it myself… Interior of Windshield was dirty and should be cleaned daily.. it’s hard to drive with a dirty windshield. Overall this location is the best I’ve used in elk grove and I’ve used four of them. This location has very good employees- just need help cleaning trucks….

BILL PThe van wreaked of curry throughout the entire vehicle. The employee was late opening the store, which was frustrating since it was after a holiday making it so I couldn’t pick up early as planned.
LISA PI was over charged because U-Haul did not have my reserved truck. I was forced to pay for a larger size truck or I would’ve been without a truck at all and the representative failed to offer me any discounts or incentives for my inconvenience.

JUSTIN FI turned in the truck on 6/16 @ around 1 PM with the gas back to the original spot. I was then received the receipt on 6/17 @ around 11AM with an extra day charge and additional gas charge. I told the person I returned it to the previous day that the check engine light went on. He brushed it off. I called on 6/17 as soon as I received the invoice and the lady Sarah said she’d look into it and call me back. I never got a call so I called at 3PM for a follow up and she told me it was out of their hands and to call UHaul customer service which I did to file a ticket. I’m a loyal customer as I have rented 3 weeks in a row this months with no issues until now. I have 1 more upcoming reservation and I am extremely nervous as this experience was extremely disappointing

Liam BTires registered about 10-12 lbs. low on air. We called Uhaul and they said not to worry about it. We stopped and put air in the tires anyway. The tank registered “1/3 full.” We drove about 17 miles and the van dinged because it was already low on gas! This vehicle was NOT ready for prime time. The office staff was nice though!
LUCY CThis was not a good experience. For one, the car had a huge dent in the door impacting the way the door shut. Secondly, the check tire pressure system lights went on less than half way to our destination. We pulled over in a rain storm to fill the tires and called the Elk Grove location to ask what we should do. We also asked the PSI on the tires. The employee laughed, said the truck had been doing that for a month and said all he could do was apologize. We asked for a discount on our bill since this was a huge problem but we were told to call U-Haul. I did but was told I needed to complete my contract before a refund could be discussed. The whole thing was stressful because the light remained on.

BENJAMIN NI got a flat tire in my moving truck and u haul had someone come and change my tire on a country road in the .middle of no where . They had my tire changed in no time and I was on my way. Great service.

LUTHERIO VI was deceived and charged $200 allegedly for an incomplete tank. I drove 40 miles and filled up. There is a receipt. And they wrote it off as an empty tank.
