LUTHERIO VI was deceived and charged $200 allegedly for an incomplete tank. I drove 40 miles and filled up. There is a receipt. And they wrote it off as an empty tank.

RAYMOND JI was suppose to pick up truck at 10:00am I arrived at the location at 9:50. The sign stated the store opened at 10:00 . No one showed up to open store until 10:27 the worker dud not apologize for being late . He stayed he cannot rent trucks until 10:30!cause his computer wont allow him to access information until after 10:30 . The worker was extremely rude not helpful and very disrespectful. I needed the truck so I went ahead an used the box store I will never use the location again and ferl I should be compensated in some way for the inconvenience caused.

ramon MIt was a very easy process. I reserved the truck online which was very convenient. Upon arriving at the store it was very simple process. There was a little bit of a wait but understandable as there were customers ahead of me, however I was taken care of by Mr. Bird promptly when he became available. The drop off process was great. My bill was adjusted and taken care of right away.

Eugene DThe wiper blades for this vehicle were adequate, but did streak considerably during the rain, so that is a maintenance issue that should be addressed. Otherwise, I was very pleased with both the vehicle and the service provided. I had used this facility before to buy boxes and packing materials but had never rented a U-Haul and certainly would not hesitate to return to this location to rent a U-Haul in the future.

ANGIE SHello, OVERALL - 3 Stars From a functional stand point, I would rate the overall experience 5 stars - BUT... After I talked to the manager at the location, and arranged for a 7:30 am pickup, SOMEONE at U-Haul, reset the pickup for 8:30 (when the location opened). I was at the location at 7:30, only to learn my reservation was jacked-up. Happily, the manager happen to be there a little before 8, saw what happened, and reset my reservation for 8am. Sadly, this still did not work. I had to call U-haul, and they changed the reservation to 24/7, and that released it. This change made me late for a customer meeting, that I had allotted plenty of time. I am not sure under what authority OR why my reservation was changed. I do know the U-Haul website, has this location open at 7:30am, but in REALITY, opens at 8:30. Someone may have seen this and made the change - BUT this location is setup for 24/7. Using the APP, was a little cludgy - I could not see my start mileage, or amount of gas - I needed to call U-Haul to get it. The check-in and check=out process was very smooth!!

Teresa Swhen I reserved the uhaul van .. I opted out the rental insurance. when I came to the store .. I again opted out of the rental insurance. when I got my bill or receipt .. it showed that I was charged 26 dollars for the rental insurance. I called to dispute the 26 dollars charge. no resolution yet.
vicente lI tried to return the truck using the U-haul app, but it failed to work. I tried several times to enter in the return information, but the app kept loading. The app is not very reliable.

Judy RYou need better customer service!, I felt like I was walking into a funeral hall. No one smiled or welcomed us in. Also, I was charged a phenomenal amount for only 1 hrs and just 35 miles! I feel as though Uhaul is a bit fraudulent in their practices. I will not be coming back!

Kevin AI picked up a 26 truck for about 4 hours. Moved within Elkgrove. I only used 15 miles yet I was charged for 12 gallons of gas. Obviously someone there is not doing his job of checking the tanks before giving it to customers then overcharge customers who trust them enough not to take a picture. I mean how on earth can a 15 miles journey within Elkgrove suck up 12 gallons? SMH . Definitely escalating this to higher management. Measures should be put in place.

Keyonne DAgent was rude he was not knowledgeable regarding how to treat a client and he was lacking in information about my reservation.
SAIRA AAttendant was rude. Never looked up when talking to me with his toothpick in his mouth. Made us jump through hoops to complete our check out. When he finally did help us he banged around the dollies and threw the blankets on the floor. Dropping off the U-Haul was a bad experience too, it took a long time to get a verification number to complete the drop off and once I received it the code was no longer valid. I solved my problem with the apps live chat, but I’m still getting emails saying I have to drop off the U-Haul… I already received my receipt.

joyce aEmployees were not very friendly. They acted like they didn't want to be there. They just had us fill out information, gave us the keys and didn't even do a walk through with us. Just sent us on our way. We were the only ones there so it wasn't busy.

dang tThe pickup and drop-off went very smoothly. I had no trouble with the truck; it was large enough to finish my move. I especially thanked the clerk who extended by rental as my move was delayed a few hours. I would definitely rent from here again.

Uhaul needs to have a process where their employees can submit a complaint on behalf of the customer and make the customer take more time away from their day to research and complete an online compliant form!

BRANDON EThe only unusual thing was that the location opens at 8:30. I arrived at 8:40 and was told they don’t rent equipment until 9. That was fine except I don’t know why we couldn’t do the paperwork at that point and then I could just take the trailer at 9. I just wandered around the store for 20 minutes and then at 9 he said “ I can take you now”.

Jodi CThe workers didn’t seem like they wanted to help. It was frustrating that I had to keep coming back inside rather than one of them coming out to go over the vehicle with me. It showed the tank was full but it wasn’t. The A/C was intermittent and would actually push out hot air.
