Keys were not correct in the box. If another customer wasn't there i would have had to take the wrong u haul. Thankfully we had each other's keys. Location was crowded and not easy to get the u haul out or return it in the correct spot. Area was also dirty and needed trash picked up that was blowing around the building.

One would expect if the renter open a contract at a location and agreed to return atbsame location there be an option to simply validate the correct location was the return point. Disappointed in the online return experience.
LOUIS WThe only reason I didn’t give 5 starts is because I feel like the woman who works the uhaul is always “grumpy” or in a bad mood. She seems very short and unfriendly. I keep coming back though because they seem to always have a truck available and that’s awesome. Smile your business has to be doing well.

jason rThis isn't The Detail Shops' fault but I reserved a U-haul from Niagara falls area and everything went through on U-haul. I am disappointed that was not notified by U-haul or email that my pickup location changed (by more than 40 miles). The shop made things right but we had to go way out of the way to make sure everything would still work with our move.

Mary EThere is a big mistake in charging me for four gallons of fuel. I put 3.5 gallons of gas at the Topps gas pumps (one mile away) to attain the same marker on the fuel gauge before returning it. I have a copy of the transaction which can be sent to you. On a related note, this UHaul gets approximately 10mpg (which should be applicable in my case considering it was primarily highway miles and a very light load - had requested your smallest truck but was give the 26 ft truck). I was only charged for 36 miles. If I put 3.5 gallons into the truck (and the fuel gauge after fueling matched the paper along with the reading when I had retrieved the truck) and only drove 36 miles, how are you charging me for four gallons??

In todays age unfortunately 95% of phone customer service is “overseas” and very had to understand but not this call. Clear, friendly voice along with knowledge of what my issue was and took control of what I needed to do. Margret sent me an email quickly to reply to and was super helpful. I appreciate everything. LARRY DWhen the trailer was picked up in Batavia NY the front right tire was soft. The attendant said it was sitting a long time and needed to be inflated, so she did. Turns out the tire leaked, and I had to be inflated every 300 miles. While there is a gas station on every corner, gas stations with a functioning air pump are very few and far between. The trip was lengthened, and a considerable annoyance having to worry and stop often to check and inflate. On close inspection at the return U-Haul station in Austin the tire was found to be worn out. Sending out a trailer on a 1600 miles trip with a bad tire is an irresponsible safety hazard.

Ed JReceptionist was very kind & did a nice job explaining we would be charge mileage overage. U Haul truck had check engine light on about 5 miles into move & probably due for service & muffler was loud.
Peter SThis was the worse and unsafe experience of my life. I consider the truck to be extremely unsafe. At speeds just 50 mph, the steering wheel would bounce and twitch uncontrollable.. Also the brakes pulsing problem. The brakes was a bad rotor. The steering wheel issue was a major problem, much more than wheel balance issue. Also the flat dolly which was ordered was unavailable . Now charged 12 extra miles which a result having ability use highways but limited speed. This truck need to be major serviced.
