CHASE BChanged my pickup location to 45 mins away 12 hours before pickup. Charged me for blankets thst I never got and didnt reimburse me. Charged me for more gas than I used. Will NEVER use uhaul again. Complete crap. Caused a ton of stress and didn't provide what was ordered and never got any money back. Shady.
Travis YI have already submitted a complaint. I was cussed at, told “Uhaul doesn’t give a fuck about you” by the location owner who was not there to give me my truck at the counter at 9AM as planned because he had a personal appointment that was more important than fulfilling his responsibilities as a business owner. He received all my calls asking for help and chose to ignore them. My truck was not ready or clean. I had to spend 1 hour on the phone to switch to mobile pickup. Upon return the owner of the location was waiting for me, harassed me in the parking lot, threatened me “because you did mobile pickup I have all of your information so you better not complain about me online or I’ll fuck you up.” We are currently exploring legal remedies for this situation. I submitted this complaint on Friday immediately following the drop off and I’m still awaiting some form of return response from your local representation. I’ve personally never experienced such organizational deficiencies in my life, I would not recommend this location to anyone who cares for their personal safety.

ERICKSON MIt was 1hr out of our way & we weren't given notice that it was switched there until the last minute before we picked it up. We ordered a dolly, I've wasn't put in the truck & we weren't notified. This set is back hours more g caused me to have to buy a dolly for$85. And I was charged mileage when you moved is to 1 be away!

Kimberly HHave the gas tank full or communicate the program to refill better than refer to something the renter does not have access to and is complex. The rep at this location Todd Workinger, The zdetail Shop, was most accomodating. I would definitely rent from and recommend this location.

Carrie RWe barely had a quarter of a tank of gas. Needless to say we did not fill it when we retuned it since we had only gone 6.3 miles. We did put 4 gal in.

Don CRental was booked at a local facility. Pick-up location was 30 miles away. Equipment had an exhaust leak that I was informed about and was very annoying during the drive.

vito sMy only complaint was that I couldn't get printed copies of my contract and insurance. They just asked for my phone and took pictures of a computer screen.
Scott BWaited at counter for almost 5 minutes before I shouted for someone in the rear of the location. Had to call uhaul 4 hours later to get the trailer checked in and needed to speak with a supervisor to get a final statement. Have rented many uhaul trucks and trailers over the last 10 years. This will be my LAST horrible business keep your trailers
Joseph Lguy has another business and runs the uhaul by himself. If he's busy with his other business, your going to have to wait. also doesn't answer phone

karen lThe people at the location needs to be more professional. I called asking for a rental, the owner of location told me he has trucks available to rent and to come in immediately. When I get there he is nowhere to be found. I waited 10 minutes before someone finally came and provided service. The person that provided service was very short and rude. He did not have ANY customer service skills.

Can’t say this will always workout but he will definitely do his best! Heck of a nice guy as well! If you need to rent a UHaul in Freeport, IL this is the place to do it!
