I rented a 6x12 trailer. the trailer was ready ontime and all paper work ready to go. The issue was hooking up the trailer. I have rented uhauls from several locations and had great service at each. When picking. up trailers either the trailer was on a jack stand or an employee assisted with hooking up the trailer. The trailer tongue was on the ground and it is difficult for a 67 year old to pick up the tongue and move into place. Luckily there were to employees of a neighboring business who graciously assisted me. Also when i returned the trailer there were no wheel chocks around to keep the trailer from rolling. luckily there were several rocks nearby to use as chocks. Both these safety issues are concerning

Everything was great. Best experience with this location that I ever have had with renting from different locations and returning to different locations. These people at the location for this recent rental are completely knowledgeable about U-Haul rentals and had my rental ready and I was one in my way. They are super!
Penny RThey keys were not in the pickup box because the U-Haul system was down and did not prompt for returned keys to be moved. The unit did not contain the dolly I paid for and I had to go into the store to request it rather than having a ready-to-go experience. The U-Haul app made me input all the information I’d previously entered online; doing that twice was extremely annoying. Overall, picking up the truck took 30 minutes, mostly due to how long it took to re-enter everything on the app. This was not a simple experience and I think U-Haul could do better. The mailbox store was awesome and extremely helpful. Their agent assisted in finding the missing key and providing the dolly. U-Haul needs to work on better communication with their third party locations and they need to update their app to auto-fill the information that was previously gathered online.

JEFFREY WEverything was great. Easy in easy out. Clerk assisted in making sure everything was in order. Trailer was in great shape and ready for the long haul.
ROBERT TThe guy acted like he had no idea what to do when returning the U-Haul. We put way more gas in that was needed and did not receive any kind of refund and there were blankets we didn’t use at all and no refund for those either. We way overpaid and should have done the one day rental instead.

DAVID MI would recommend this U-Haul location to a friend but with caution. The truck we ordered was there waiting for us, but it had not been touched after a significant snowstorm passed through a week before. It was caught in a drift that I had to plow through to extract the vehicle and the windshield required clearing of snow and ice before I could use the truck. Nothing was done to prepare the truck for us other than keeping the reservation. The rest of the transaction was seamless and the return was simple.
JOSEPH UIt's very expensive a mile for a Senior on Social Security trying to move!!! We should have a discount rate since we need all kinds of help moving!!! But other than that , it's all good! It would of been cheaper if I didn't have to return it to the same location....
LISA SNo personnel contacted personally by the drop off Highland, IL office. All was done online on the Uhaul website. We followed the instructions including posting requested photos of the vehicle onside and out. It would have been nice if someone had called us to confirm all was well. Otherwise, it was great location and service.

CARL YWhen renting online it allowed me to select an appliance dolly as an add on which I absolutely needed for this move. This location, however, doesn’t have any appliance dolly’s. We had to find another location which had one and go pick it up from there before we could even do anything, which ate into our time. There shouldn’t be an option for add ons if they are not available.
