Too much trouble and difficulty checking in and out via app. I was unable to return vehicle via app and unconveintly charged $50.

David SBetter customer service. I was in a hurry and didn’t realize I wasn’t finished checking the truck out on the website but I took a picture of the dash before leaving. Then when I returned and tried to check the truck in I couldn’t. When I contacted The Mail Box Store in the morning, they charged me $23 for gas and argued it even after I sent pictures showing that it was at 5/8th of a tank when I got it and when I returned it.

andrew mI did not go into the store or interact with any employees. "Average" is the best I could give. Drop off location was a mail box/shipping store not a U-Haul store. Drop-off time was 8:15 AM. The store didn't open until 8:30AM. The truck was at the store, key in the drop box by 8:15AM but it wasn't logged as returned until 10:16AM. I was charged for an extra day. U-Haul reversed the charge. This should not have happened. I assume drop box keys are retrieved at the start of the day and matched to a list of incoming trucks. Return time is not the time employee enters the data into the system.
Jay NLarge open parking and the drop off box was well positioned in a clean area. The app is slow and doesn’t take input. I completed order via browser not app.
Raymond PFirst of all. A working application that allows you to log in and view your orders would be great. Second, if the systems would be more up to date so when someone reserved their truck they have accurate i formation instead of sending the customer across town back and forth and end up giving them a completely different size car like they did to me. And lastly, honor your word. Due to the disorganized employees or system messing up my order not once, not twice but THREE times. Was told I would get a discount and ended up receiving my closing invoice 25 dollars over agreed. Also please be more organized with drop off policies. I was given directions on how and when to return the vehicle. Then getting a call two days calls interrogating me if I returned the truck yet because it showed I did not return it. Good thing I had pictures of time location and if the vehicle.
SOFIA LTruck was dirty with bird droppings. Had to scrub windshield and mirrors. Otherwise truck/ van was okay.
