tie down strap rachet on left side did not work could not tie down both tires.

HOWARD RThe owner was disrespectful, got loud and obnoxious when I tried to explain my situation. The owner made it clear that our conversation was being video and audio recorded so if you want the proof and to see how your people treat their customers, I’d review the footage. I am going to go out of my way to ensure that this guy loses the ability to represent your company. You should be embarrassed.

Claude VFirst dealer wouldn’t rent me the trailer he had because he wanted to keep it local. Sent me to a hotel 3 miles away and it took over an hour to do the paperwork. Loaded the car I was hauling only to see that both back tires on the trailer were so low on air (15lbs & 20 pounds). I was afraid to move the trailer so had to unload the vehicle , go get air, reload vehicle ( not running) . When I dropped off trailer my contract wasn’t on my app and I couldn’t check out, spent another hour on the phone with 2 different people and still didn’t get it checked out. Took a few pictures and left . Wasted 4-5 hours altogether.

Andru RI was charged for insurance coverage even though I declined it when I made the reservation. When I called, the desk said they would call me back to resolve the issue. They have not called me. Otherwise, the personnel were very helpful.

JAMES TNo air conditioning in the truck. Not that it didn’t work but no a/c installed. How can that be! Please don’t keep this truck in Virginia or any other southern state in the summer!
peter dWhen I initially arrived at this location, there was no one at the front desk and it sounded like a loud tv was on in the back. I called out hello and rang the bell multiple times, no response. I went back to my Uber and called and the lady answered and said she’d be right out.

Kristen EEnsure that the internet is working. I was told the "u haul site was down". When I called UHaul, they knew nothing of an outage. I had to wait over an hour for the rental agreement. After speaking with a "manager" about him being available to hook up the trailer, he left early "for an emergency".

DAVIDJOSEPH MThere is no sign or information about where to pick up the keys, I found out I have to go inside after talking to 3 different agents after MY MOBILE PICKUP said it was canceled. The place does not look open or safe to be around, it stinks inside also. IT WAS NOT MY PICK in the first place, I am unsure why Uhaul or someone else changed it, had I knew it was like that I would have canceled.

michael gIt was a rather uncomfortable environment It felt awkward. There was no one at the desk upon our arrival. There was a man in the corner of the reception area that was asleep in a stool in front of gambling machines. The person who helped us check the truck in had very little to say. I was supposed to receive an emailed receipt of the return which never came to me. I was not able to review the final statement.
DONNA SThe only drawback of renting from this location is accessibility which is not the fault of the business but the location of the building in relation to the highway infrastructure. Approaching from the north, there's no LEFT access into the business property. One must pass the location, proceed up to the road changing from 4-lane with median to 4-lane without median and if safe, due to normally huge volumes of traffic in that area, make a u-turn to head back to the location. If heavy traffic, one must continue farther from the location to search for a traffic light or other business to whip into to turn around and head back to the location. This is an inconvenience which could potentially be hazardous, especially when returning a very large truck having to make a u-turn in consistent heavy traffic for that area. Again, this annoyance is NOT the fault of the U-haul business and it's owners and beyond that, I would highly recommend this location as the gentleman that helped us with our last minute need for a rental truck, was very informative, friendly and made the entire transaction easy and painless. It was overall a uncomplicated, non-stressful, pleasant experience and even with the headache of actually getting into the business' parking lot from the highway, I will definitely check this location FIRST when needing future rentals.

Michael KIt was difficult to find as the company had just relocated to this new location. It is an excellent idea to team with a hotel that offers service 24 hours.
Kathleen AI asked for confirmation that I was dropping the truck off and was told I’d get an email. I was very uncomfortable. He did not go outside and even look that the vehicle was there. I was concerned if damage was done or the truck was stolen I had no proof that I returned it. I was also concerned that someone else could have used if and damaged/put miles on it and I would be charged. Very uneasy experience.

Daryl MExcellent location for Virginia Beach area shuttles. Trucks are the newer ones. Hotel, shuttle truck and fuel stop all in one location.
Michael BVisor would not stay up, smelled like weed, check engine light on, flat spot on front right tire.
John WGentlemen was hard to understand, while he did everything correctly he was very slow. Everything was processed on line ahead of time.
