This poor guy helped us so we didn't have to pay extra. We told the pick up location when and where we could drop the trailer off, he never once told us it had to be back by 3 pm on the following Tuesday, because we told him it would be AFTER 5... So once dropping off, this location had to processed so we didn't have to pay for an extra day, even AFTER paying for extra days at the pick up location. We have dropped off lots of equipment to this location as we moved 8 hr this year, and he has been nothing but helpful!

First, couldn't get the truck I wanted, or pickup at the location closest to me, so I had to pay more for a bigger truck and go out of my way to get it. Then when I got to the location, they couldn't find the keys. Then the app link timed out before I could submit pictures of odometer after trying to submit 15 different times (kept saying it couldn't read the numbers). Ended up paying almost $200 for gas because it was empty and was charged for 180 miles when I only did 150. Will NEVER use U-Haul again.

I have nothing against the location or the people operating the location, they did a good job. My beef is with UHaul itself. You take my reservation and tell me a rep will call the day before my reservation. I'm all set to move, it's a long haul (over 750km). The rep calls the day before the move and informs me that he no longer has a 10' truck with tow dolly but only a 26' truck with -and this I found out only at pickup the next day- a full-sized trailer, and that the pickup location is now 40km away. She offers me extra kms to cover the travel and informs me that both, the truck and trailer, will be at no extra cost. I told her it will cost way more in gas, and she apologized and said she could only offer me more kms OR a 10' truck (but without any tow-dolly or trailer) at a location 100kms away. I have to move the very next day! Of course, I'm gonna take whatever they have. The 26' truck and trailer cost me more than 500$ of gas. I am certain the 10' truck would not have cost as much. All this to say, beware of making reservations with UHaul, they can promise you a reservation and call you the day before and not have anything close to what you reserved, and you could completely bust your moving budget. Shame on you UHaul, shame. ;-P Improvement suggestion : Not promise equipment that you don't have. And offer a discount price if you are offering bigger-sized vehicles than what the clients asked for. Simple physics : bigger vehicles = higher gas expenses

False information about fuel amount upon immediate inspection of the rental truck once it arrived for my use, when i tried to talk to the location about the incorrectinformation on my paperworkcompared to what was actuallyin the truck they didn't care about it and walked away for me. I i had to call the support line of uhaul to try to sort it out. Took over an hour for the uhaul vehicle to be brought to 231 Devonshire for my use as well. 1/16th of gas in a vehicle is unacceptable amount of gas for a rental vehicle. Especially when it's supposed to be filled at 1/4. How can uhaul charge a customer for fuel not being at 1/4 tank if they don't use that money charged to fill that vehicle to 1/4 tank. I was told I was going to be credited back 66$ from my rental fees due to the very low fuel issue. As well credited back money upon return of the uhaul rental if the vehicle was returned with more gas than it was rented at. Gas was at 1/8th when returned and it had only 1/16th when it was rented out to me. As a customer I shouldn't have to be dealing with issues of improper treatment no matter where the uhaul vehicle is rented from.

location was very far from initially planned in Rouyn Noranda, access to gas was extremely limited in the evening.

They charge me 2 times. First $211 and then 2 days after again $222. Never again will i go to that store. And herd it happen to other's. Very very desapointed.

They weren't there!! It's an Indian restaurant that closes by 6pm. No sign no number no help. Uhaul does not exist there, unless you are an ant!!!

It's not the location that's the problem it's the uhaul policies and website that were slow and caused problems.

Stop giving dealerships to people who don’t care. They are using your system to attempt up charges as the owner of this location tried with me even becoming rude and inflammatory and using foul language which I returned to him once he started. The people renting your equipment should know what they are doing. They do not and the lady I spoke to when I made the reservation had no clue either as she did nothing. I have had enough of U-Haul and the horrible service here in Canada

I placed a reservation a month before at a location in timmins and a week before i was called abd told they had none. However, when i got to timmins and drove by the timmins location, they had several trucks just sitting there. I had to drive 45 min out of my way to get a larger truck i did not need and have to pay more in gas for the 1100km trip. Nobody knew anything about uhaul in iroquois falls. The truck had no cart in it and the blanekt bag was open and empty. The passenger door handle was broken and there was no key for the tailfate lock. I had to go get a lock for it. Was emailed a contract after i took the vehicle. I left with no proof of fuel level etc…. That being said, it was iroquios falls only truck and I am thankful i had a truck , no thanks to uhaul corp and timmins location. My fiancee had to be out of her house and it was xmas eve i was moving her to sarnia. Alot more stress than i needed. No one at the myrna location or the petro canada location i had to go to to pick it up had any trainingon uhaul. I had to call the owner to verify everything.

The employee had several problems with the system which wasn't his fault, the system had everything in imperial measurements, his boss was extremely rude and dismissive when I wanted an explanation on the surprise $543 charge after my trip and on the seemingly much higher distance charges than on the website. I've rented with U-Haul many times over the years but Never have I been treated like this or had a large additional charge.

Found garbage inside of U-Haul. They didn't have my reservation on file as well as didn't have the truck I needed so ended up paying nearly double for a a larger truck I didn't need. Manager wasnt helpful either.

Make sure the proper vehicle ordered is on the customer profile. It took us a hour and a half to pick up a trailer from Iroquois falls after having to drive a hour to the location.
