Rims on the trailer were very rusty. Availability on a holiday day forced me to get the trailer early. I was told I wouldn't be charged for the early pickup but they charged me anyway. Awaiting an appeal....
Mark MThe gauge was incorrectly reported by the agent and because of that, I got charged a fee for not putting gas in the tank, though I drove 7 total miles. The employee could have atleast been nicer about it, but he said “We have to use f***ing AI”. I have been told by several friends that this location has scammed them as well for this. The mileage was also wrong when reported. Again, I only drove 7 miles. I’m not happy with this at all.

Michael SI have driven box trucks professionally and rented them over the decades to move family, friends, and ourselves dozens of times. Box trucks are a tool, not a luxury vehicle, and my expectations are aligned with that perspective. That said, this was the worst rental truck experience I've had. They'd mounted a dolly and a bag full of moving blankets to the passenger side interior wall of the box, though I didn't request them. This was a giant pain (Literally, I wrenched my back because of them) as I had to navigate around them with large, heavy pieces of furniture. They also served as a great obstacle to organizing the load for the trip. I was told that all in-town rentals come with a "courtesy" hand truck and moving blankets these days and I could have asked for a truck without them. I'd never seen them before, so had no reason to ask that the empty space I rented be fully empty. The steering was so loose that my son couldn't stop laughing at how much I had to work the wheel to keep it between the lines. The interior trim on the B pillar was unsecured and kept falling into my shoulder and the side of my head while I drove. I eventually had to just hold it up with my left arm while driving one-handed. The hood spontaneously opened while doing 55, which is a first for me. The safety catch did it's job and prevented it from hitting the windshield, but the sound was very alarming. The rear door was in need of grease real bad but, honestly, that's not a big deal. All the above made a three day move way more painful than it needed to be. I let them know about the issues with that specific truck and just got a shrug and a comment about it being a high mileage truck. Honestly, I'm getting older and I don't have high expectations for being coddled by corporations. I'm nobody of consequence and they don't care about my very occasional, small time business, but I think I'm going to try a competitor in a couple weeks for the serving phase of my move. Go slow and take care out there.

IRVIN WThe gas tank was only amost half full when I picked up the vehicle and started driving it. When I returned the vehicle they charge me an additional $15 after I already put in $5. They said that it was 5/8 full when I started driving it. Next time I just need to remember to take a picture of the gas gauge because I don't think this was accurate I only drove 5 mi and I put in five bucks in gas It should have been fine I filled it back up to half a tank there's no way owed another $15. I respect your business but this was an error on your behalf that I ended up paying for.

RICHARD LI paid for a 6 pack of moving pads/blankets but never opened the package as they were not needed. I requested a refund but was politely told there were no refunds. Seems like in most cases where someone buys a product and does not use it they are able to return it for a refund. Why is this any different?
JAMES FI’ve known Rob professionally for a few years and with my move, I knew where I wanted to spend my money. The Packaging Store goes above and beyond and is the BEST location open in our area, hands down. Chris was there and also helped clean off my rental when I picked it up! Thank you for helping make this move easy, less stressful and for being the most professional UHaul in our area! Appreciate you guys! Well done!
