I'm a repeat customer, why can't this store move into the 21st century? Or at least celebrate my birthday while I wait...that's an attempt at humor - everything else is serious.

RICHARD DWe had a headlight out. Lucky for us we were traveling in the daylight hours. There was a drivers side rear inside tire that was shredded. Lucky for me my husband was following me and we made it to Grand Rapids from Traverse City. My husband call and we were offered the option of changing vehicles…. Who wants to pack and unpack a truck twice in less than 24 hours…. Not us!
ANN MI've dropped trailers at this facility on a number of prior trips from Wisconsin to Traverse City before. It is large, and the staff always helpful and efficient. You have a winner there.

MARIO ANothing. The online reservation was super easy. The employees were very helpful, friendly, and efficient.
Roger WDrop off was fantastic. One person running the counter, stopped helping a customer and told me where I could drop the trailer real quick. I like that I didn't have to come back inside, the rental was closed when they were able to go outside and check the trailer back in. U-Haul's processes and IT integration are quite good. Thank you!
HELMUT EUhaul moved my pick up location and claimed to provide additional miles. The mileage I was given was barely enough to drive directly from the pick up location to the drop off location. Ended up having to pay for additional miles

FRANK BTruck was outdated, and steering was not accurate. However the service provided by the company I picked the vehicle up from was excellent, timely, and extremely convenient.

PAUL WTell people there is a deposit when you rent a trailer. Tell people exactly what size ball you need to rent your trailer. I asked what size ball when i reserved the trailer and was told 1and 7/8 or 2" i said do i need to bring both and was told no. My husband went to pick up the trailer and had a 1and 7/8 ball and it was the wrong ball so he had to go back home and get a 2" ball and go back and get the trailer a lot of wasted time and gas and money. Your employees need MORE training!!! Also got an inspection message and a plate varification that expired before I saw it. I would think that should be done at pick up of trailer. Do better UHaul.

MICHAELENE MMobile app is terrible…very dodgy and buggy. When I tried to enter anything online while returning the truck, it just spun and spun and would not register my location. The staff, however, was great and the truck was very useful.
DAVID Ctruck had many miles on it and was kindof a rattle trap. Needed new wipers. The interior wooden tie down slats inside could not accomodate new smaller strap hooks. Had to tie ropes onto wood slats and then hook straps onto ropes. Interior light stayed on the entire trip.

MICHAEL JThe location and workers are great, but UHAUL'S hidden fees are obnoxious. Just reveal all the fees up front. For instance the SAFE MOVE COVERAGE, THE VEHICLE RECOVERY FEE, AND THE ENVIRONMENTAL FEE. Be honest. The price overall was fair and most people will pay it, without feeling like they're dealing with a disreputable company. So no, I would not recommend U--Haul, at least not without a warning to expect to pay about twice what is advertised.
ALAN MTruck share 24/7 was a troublesome process. No one I knew was awake for Uhaul to call, so I was stuck without the truck from 6am-8:30am, when they opened. It’s not the easiest when you don’t have a passport, no lease agreement, and everyone you know is asleep…

DANIEL PCheckout was simple, but I didn't have to wait in line. Since I'm a repeat customer and rent a few times year, I wish checkout was even easier and faster. Why do I have to go into the building to checkout, why can't I do the paperwork on line and then have the person who hooks up the trailer finish checking me out? That woud be great.

RYAN MThank you for fixing my charges. Next time it would help to receive a message saying this would be addressed. Your off hours app for returning equipment after hours continues to be quirky. I almost gave up again due to slow or no response.
Mark KHave trucks that are newer and in proper working condition (windshield washer on left was inoperable in bad weather). No backing camera. I would have gladly paid more for a better equipped truck but the option was not available.
