I had no problems with the truck itself. And the person who helped me was friendly and helpful, both on the phone when I made a change and when I came in. But the pricing was very confusing and not properly explained. I also questioned it and nobody replied, but I did eventually figure out that while it was calculated differently, it came out close enough to what I was quoted for me to accept the amount I was charged. Going to the location, it is a business that seems to sell and repair model cars. When I first came in the men who are NOT the ones to help with my rental were fairly rude and pushed me to the other side of the store (not physically but made it clear they did not want me even standing in their area). I had to wait a long time for the gentleman to be able to help me. Including waiting for him to answer a phone call where he had to ask the two guys not helping me the answers to all the questions the caller had, I was curious as to why one of them couldn't take the call if he didn't know the answers and was the only one who could help me. The noises and chemical smells while I waited were quite obnoxious so I had a serious headache by the time we went outside to get my vehicle. I was happy with the truck and with the pricing and with the ease of checking it in and out, but not with the location itself. I would rent a uhaul again, but travel a little further and hope for a better experience.Traci T.

The location was fine although they had no moving blankets or hand trucks which they push you to get while making your reservation. I used the automated app for my pick up. They should have you take care of the details while reserving or as soon as you get the app. I had to wake up my friends at 8 am on a Saturday for a reference before they released the truck.Chris F.

My truck was not there for the time of my appointment and I had to chance the size and thanks to that I couldn't finish moving because my stuff didn't fit on the smaller truck. Now I'll have to take another day off at work and pay for another truck just to finish moving, ripple efect companies don't take on count when they don't offer the right service to clients. The last person who rented the truck, was drinking I think it would be Pepsi it throw away in the cab and was not cleaned up. For the driver to start the truck you have to play around with the key , until it get to a certain grove before it starts.hyson M.

Customer service is a big key the guy who helped me if you call that help was rude and disrespectful. He wasnt clear on his answers to my question. His main thing was you can go somewhere else if you dont like it. You definitely dont say those things to a first time customer or a place of business. The vehicle had all the lights on check engine tire light trailer light service due now and thats not how a vehicle should be given out. Just all around not happy. The only good thing about the uhaul was moving what i needed other than that not happy.SHAMEL S.

I went online to register for a service which I was told would be at a rate of $0.40 (forty cents) per mile after the first 50 miles plus the base price and this was verbally confirmed by the agent/staff who prepared my document in Mount Vernon, NY. However when I returned the vehicle I was emailed with a bill for $1.99 (one dollar ninety-nine cents) per mile. This is more than 4 times the rate that I was told. This is wrong to say the least. Both your app and website suck! Why can't I just choose the location I rented from when returning a truck??? I waisted 45mins trying to checkout after a long day of moving. I'm an IT professional and this is the worst experience someone can hope for!!! Locations services on your app & site don't even work, turn them off for crying out loud!!! Oh and by the way if someone is running late maybe you should consider a mandatory text or email notice with your vendors before they are allowed to cancel the reservation without notice or at the very least post a notice on the rental agreement! I won't be recommending U-Haul to anyone anytime soon and WILL post on google maps about this location so that my 22 millions viewers can take their business elsewhereâ€¦Nicholas S.

I'm really upset with U-Haul customer service overall and honestly don't ever want to do business with this company again. I ended up having to spend over $500 dollars for my move simply because I was lied to basically! I had booked online more than a week in advance to secure a one way drop off since I was moving from NY to CT. However the day before my move they call me saying no trucks were available. I just don't understand how your system would allow me to book and secure online to then tell me due to high volume reservations the truck size I requested isn't available. I'm extremely disappointed how that was handled. I had made sure to book online because the week before I had difficulties securing a truck. Thanks to this location I was able to get a last minute truck however I had to incur a higher expensive. Uhaul you needs to do better!!!!GERMANY J.

Staff was super easy to work with. Everything was up and ready by the time I walked in the door. They explained all the services fees and additional fees if certain conditions were met. They did offer the additional coverage, but I declined; it was nice that they said just to make sure with my driver's insurance that I was covered and to check if my credit card company insured commercial/moving damages just in case. Overall, I really liked the staff here and they were very quick from getting me in the door, verifying information, and then processing the bill at the end. I couldn't be happier and I will choose to get my rentals from this location in the future.SCOTTJ S.
