The truck we reserved had a flat tire that apparently nobody could fix. We were downgraded to a smaller truck that doubled our workload and kilometers. No discount offered. Only alternative solution offered was to change our date to after our move.

When I picked up the truck it was filthy from driving in snowy conditions. I had to wash the entire back end of the truck and ramp to even use it. The road grime was slippery and tracked everywhere and would have transferred to the items I was loading.

The Customer Service representative was really good. He was quite busy, but he did his best to help everybody in a timely matter. My vehicle wasn’t on site ready to be picked up, which wasn’t his fault. It was the previous customer who was late in their Return. Once she returned it and he had processed the van back in he got me going as quick as he could, which was greatly appreciated. The only thing I would say it would be good if they had some customer signs of where to park a personal vehicle if leaving it there while you’re using U-Hauls as it’s not clear.

I booked a 20' truck, then had someone call a few days before my move to say sorry we can only give you a 15' truck, but will only charge half the milage because I have to make 2 trips with the smaller truck. When i got to Uhaul they had several 20' trucks there but wouldn't give me one (all thill there the next day). Truck was clean but klunky.. millage was 8 km, they charged me for 14km. I was able to complete my move but was a frustrating experience with Uhaul, Usually Uhaul is amazin, but this time they were not.

Act on information given about problems with the rental equipment - we notified the personnel of the hole in the box of the U-haul truck that leaked rainwater into our stuff, so they might patch/repair it or at least warn the next individuals taking the truck on a much further move… The employee was unhelpful, didn’t even want to look at the problem, and did not properly acknowledge our concern… He instead just referred us to call head office about it.

The app kept crashing and would not let me complete my mobile return. After several attempts, I called customer service. My issues were resolved, but it would be nice if the app were more reliable.

Truck exterior had not been cleaned for awhile. No flatbed/furniture dollies were available at 2 different locations despite being able to reserve one.

The person was told of the issues that we had and said he would look at the truck but seem to concerned with our concerns. Hopefully he didn't give the truck to someone else without having it fixed.

They changed my drop off spot which made it very inconvenient and problematic was left in a crack head area without any way to get home was fucked up was not safe by any means. I had booked a drop off spot near my place so I could walk home they changed it to the next town where I had no choice to pick it up from case they changed that as well and over all the inconvenience of not being able to get it where I had originally ordered it from would have been helpful not this oh can’t do that only at this pace kinda bull shit. The truck was damaged when I got it but still worked the oil light came on and couple other little things I would not recommend unless it’s the only option

The truck was filthy and reeked of cow manure. Apparently it had recently been stolen and 'dumped' in a cow field, but i really think that, given the rental price, a wee bit more effort could have been given to cleaning out the inside of the vehicle. As it was, spent a total of about 6 hours in a very dirty/smelly truck in heavy traffic in hot (30C+) weather. Not impressed. Otherwise, ease of rental, etc. was very good.

I was a little frustrated that I could not get a suitable truck in Salmon Arm. So I was told I had a reservation for a 15 foot in vernon. Which was my request. I called when I left salmon arm to confirm my reservation. When I arrived in vernon there was no 15 only a 20, which was a little large for the area I need to access. Having the truck I reserved would have been appreciated.

Pickup and drop-off at the location was great. However, the booking information had changed between the booking and pickup. The location was booked for Vernon at 2:00 on Friday and when I confirmed on the Monday prior, I found that the pickup had been changed to Kelowna at 12:00. The agent that I called was happy to change it all back, but why was it changed in the first place. I'm glad that I confirmed in advance.

Was promise a discount on kms because of inconveniences of has to drive a extra 100 kms/ plus gas to just get the truck and drop it off, but when time came to actually get that promise uhaul refused to make good on it, and truck was unwashed in outside, this experience has been horrible, I highly don’t recommend uhaul as they will make false promises just to make sure you rent there stuff.

Having been evacuated due to the Whiterock Lake fire this summer, we called around Vernon trying to find storage for what valuables we were able to take out of my home before having to leave. After calling a number of places with no luck we finally got the answer we were desperate for - STOR-IT PLACE U Haul said they were holding a few units for evacuees and had the perfect space for us.
