Very upset that less then 24 hours before my rental you called and told me my rental wasn't available at my preferred location and instead expected me to drive an hour out of my way to pick it up. I should have been told when I made the reservation that it probably wouldn't work.

I confirmed a 9am pickup with an agent at the local Storage Mall Lockport. When I received a separate confirmation call from u-haul corporate, it was for noon pickup. I called back to the local Storage Mall Lockport and spoke to the same agent and he confirmed a 9am appointment. I requested either a 17' truck or a 20'. When I arrived to pick up, I was told I was 3 hours early and so therefore the truck I requested was not available. But he could give me a 15'. I asked for a discount since I confirmed 2x with the same individual a 9am appointment and a larger truck. The agent talked in circles about the 15' truck costs less so that is the discount. Plus he would give me a $20 discount for the fuel level not being at least 1/4 tank. Except I had to make extra trips, because of a smaller truck, had to spend $45 in fuel, and ultimately extend my rental for an additional day. All of which cost me extra. The agent at the Storage Mall Lockport, when I picked up, and when I dropped off, informed a $0.79 milage rate. I was billed $0.99. I was told to sweep out and fold blankets to avoid a $25 cleanup fee. It was not swept out when I picked up, by any means. I did ensure it was thoroughly swept out and all blankets folded neatly and that there was over 1/4 tank of fuel. Overall, while the truck was flawless, no malfunction or issue, I'm still very disappointed with so many issues. Both in the incorrect time /truck size /condition of the box van interior upon pickup /incorrect mileage rate and ultimately additional expense incurred by me as a result.

There were ashes in the ashtray and I did not like that we had to wait for someone to check our ID and photo for awhile once we got to the facility. Good customer service though!

Everything was as it should have been. Drop of was painless. The only negative comment I would make is that I had to wait till the last minute to find out if I was getting a truck and where I was picking it up. It ended up fine but was very worrisome.

Initially tried using cell phone to log in, I found it confusing and frustrating (I am not that savoy with technology). Fortunately there was a U-Haul employee available to help complete the check in process, that went fairly quickly.

Upon pickup there was garbage in the compartments, but I just removed it. Before returning, I broom swept and cleaned the van taking special care to remove the tarp and sweep underneath and washing the tarp where needed. I removed all garbage and wiped everything down. I scrubbed and vacuumed the seats and pulled out any hair on the carpeted seats. There was some I could not get out. I told the manager this. He told me to bring the van to a car wash with a vacuum. I told him I already did this and it was the best I could get it. He charged me $50 because it was not to his liking. I used u-haul a total of 3 times for at least 1 week at a time in the past 3 months. The other 2 locations never charged me a cleaning fee. I do not recommend this location.

Fire the people at Waukesha (and management), and bring in professionals. All the information given the attendant was confusing/ and or misleading, and I was harassed by Uhaul on the phone. I was promised the trailer for 4 days having picked it up on the 19th, and they wanted it returned on the 20th. If the correct questions were originally asked there would have been no problems. I give Uhaul a low rating.

Very unhappy with the last minute change of pickup location due to the truck not being marked as checked in. Managed to correct this by calling uhaul directly. Called the manager to confirm the reservation and ask about the pickup process and he was very unhelpful. Acted like I was bothering him and refused to offer any helpful information. Second time renting here, and second time receiving sub-par service. Oil change light on continuously in vehicle, unable to see mileage with car running. Had to turn the key and quickly look/take a picture before it disappeared. When I got to the pickup location the windows of the vehicle were found to be left open (vehicle not secured). Pickup process was absolutely ridiculous. Took over 1/2 hour to complete via the online pickup. The only bright spot of this experience was the wonderful customer service agent at Uhaul who helped to fix the pickup location.
