This location was horrible. They did not have my truck and also didn't have one for another customer that was there at the same time. The man that was working there was kind of a jerk. And also I called uhaul because my account was double charged and was told that the one charge would be returned by Friday and it is now Saturday and it is still not returned. I am still owed $73.23 I will not ever rent from uhaul again

The app to check yourself in is terrible. It took me 2 hours to gain access to the key for the truck and when I was able to open the lock box it was for the wrong truck. I reserved a large truck and ended up with one half the size which caused for more trips between houses, more mileage and more gas. I will never use this service again and I would not recommend it to anyone. I disputed the charges and requested someone call me and I received no phone call. When calling 1-800-GO-Uhaul, I sat on hold for over 45 minutes and no one picked up to help. I ended up calling the Arizona Call Center where my friend received a phone call to confirm my identity. Also, when I was given the Managers phone number to call for help, he said he couldn't help...what kind of Manager is this???? Very upset with the overall service.

Not good customer service, man behind the counter was kind of insulting. There were 2 vans for the same price, one larger then the other and he gave us the key for the smaller one. We went to go back inside to see if we could switch and he had already locked the door. Then he pulled around in his car and said “yea it’s the smaller one” then left. Very upset with him.

I got charged a cleaning fee even though I advised Steve from the storage mall in Lockport that I did not rent the blankets that were left on the trailer floor and I just set my stuff on top of the blankets and did not feel as I had to fold them due to me not renting them. The trailer was only filled with totes so that debunks the theory that Steve had to sweep it out because of my stuff. If he had to sweep it was under those blankets and again I didn't put those blankets down on the floor. When I called Steve seemed to be dismissive and didn't even call the other uhaul store to see if I rented the blankets as he said he would. I ended up having to call storage made easy and though they tried to help the best they could Steve from the storage mall in Lockport was still claiming that I owed the $15. The person that owes the money should have been the person that put down those blankets and I should not be charged just because they got away without cleaning it or being charged the cleaning fee. He was arrogant. Refused to takes czars unless I sighted out even though it said see I.D. He charged Me twice different amounts. Wiped out my checking account Ann's acted like it was no big deal (over a $1000) took 2 1/2 days to get my money back which resulted in making me leave later than I was suppose to and had 2 get 2 hotel rooms because of this. I think it's said that uhaul also didn't take care of this or offer to reimburse me. Very poor customer service from all involved!!!!

The sales person, actually the Manger, never asked me if I wanted Insurance, but still "slipped" in the paper for me to sign. I know I should have asked what I was signing but he specifically asked the gentleman in front of me if he wanted the insurance and not me. We were actually having a normal conversation and never once did he ask me about the insurance. I did not plan on getting the insurance. I know it is only $14.00 but it is the point that I was mislead and "tricked" in to paying for it!!

I received a traffic ticket while using this 27 year old trailer. The registration for it expired Dec. 31, 2017. Now I have to go to court and possibly pay a fine. I called U-haul last night and was told the retail location would refund my rental fee and take care of any fine I may be accessed by the court. I was told I would be given a claim number by the rental location (because the customer service representative on the phone was having trouble with the web site. The location I rented from would not refund the rental and said they WOULD NOT be responsible for any fine. They also did not provide a claim number. The employee there said he would have his field manager call me. I have not received a call from anyone. So far, this is the worst rental experience I have ever endured. I called the customer service number again and waited for 15 minutes before giving up.

I was to pick it up at 9 am but there was a problem and didnt get it will way pass 10 or 11am. I had people at my home waiting for me and they moved and packed things I wasnt to go but I was stuck just trying to get a truck

Get a new office manager.. that guy with the beard is the laziest piece of work I’ve ever done business with. He has a smart mouth and very conniving... I had a truck for 4or5 days in this terrible weather lockport is having and to do the store a favor I was talked into checking the truck in every single day to make it look like he’s renting the truck and putting it to good use. So I did that gave him plenty of hours under the 24hr rent rule. And this guy had the audacity to ask me if I crashed the side I literally but 8miles on the truck it hardly moved lol. Then he noticed my reaction and said he was kidding ... that’s not to funny when your living on a budget at the moment .. he also said that he was going to charge me for 2days with the truck I said for what .??? He says because I missed a appointment this morning lol who’s going to move in this weather I said !! He has no response. So I said well if your going to charge me for today witch is rediculous then give the the truck back if I’m paying for it .. and he says that he can’t do that because it’s checked in already hummm... well I never got a final receipt nor a explication why?? I got stuck this morning in my own driveway with this truck do to the weather we got lastnight and the guy has to be a dick after I givin them plenty of hours that I turned in way early he couldn’t even cut me a brake over a hour. What a company a multi million dollar company and they have a guy in the office doing shady shit like this unbelievable!! I would not recommend going back there until he is replaced by a real everyday kind of person that it would take to deal with people moving in bad weather and other circumstances he’s not the guy I would hire at my company to deal with people.

We waited 45 minutes at the location past our pick up time because the employee didn't have the trick pre paired. The truck was frozen to the ground and the back door was frozen shut. Employee was apologetic but wasted almost an hour of our day due to not being pre paired. I would suggest employees check the truck before to make sure it is in usable condition.

The person did not walk the truck with me or show me how to properly use the truck for my long distance trip. The windshield wipers were broken and the truck shook and breaks were horrible. It was not safe and was by far the worst experience I have had moving. The place I dropped off the truck showed me what the first guy should have switching on an overdrive switch or something like that.

Representative behind the counter was doing the best he could with what he had to work with. There were supposed to be notes in my contract made from customer service that the truck odometer was written down wrong as per an hour long conversation with Uhaul's main customer service department 5 days ago. No notes were recorded and was told there was nothing he could do for me except give me the number to dispute the additional $400 charge for an additional 1000 miles that I didn't drive. So what can you do to improve? Take care of customers that have been supporting your company for 12 years. Not charge them for miles they didn't put on because of multiple errors within your company. This in turn will more than likely result in losing less customers.

The Storage Mall worked with me to get me a truck on short notice. The pickup was smooth and quick. The gentleman who greeted me was very friendly. Appreciated the after hours drop off which gave me more time to complete my move.
