Representative behind the counter was doing the best he could with what he had to work with. There were supposed to be notes in my contract made from customer service that the truck odometer was written down wrong as per an hour long conversation with Uhaul's main customer service department 5 days ago. No notes were recorded and was told there was nothing he could do for me except give me the number to dispute the additional $400 charge for an additional 1000 miles that I didn't drive. So what can you do to improve? Take care of customers that have been supporting your company for 12 years. Not charge them for miles they didn't put on because of multiple errors within your company. This in turn will more than likely result in losing less customers.

when i called 1-800 number, i asked if i needed any wiring or anything for trailer. they said i didn't need anything at all. when i picked it up i needed to purchase a connector. $20.00 i would have borrowed one from a friend. other than that, everything was fine.

Turn signial didnt work Inside or out. The back compartment of truck had not been cleaned out before I got it. There was a medium size crack in floor of bed of truck and I could see the road through the crack. The clerk took over 20 minutes to come to front desk after I rang the bell.

I'm pretty certain that the turn signals didn't work and the trucks steering is very poor. Difficult to maintain lane.

* Reserved furniture pads were not available * I booked a drop off location at the destination, but the computer system at pick-up didn't accept my online reservation. Ended up having to drop (on a Sunday!) to a place that is not actually open on Sunday. Very frustrating.

No one was at the front office when I picked up the moving truck, had to call and wait. once they got there I was rushed along. picked up the vehicle at 1230pm, returned by 430pm, used 10 miles....and received an email the next day claiming $150 damage for an "accident" that supposedly occurred at the time of drop off. there was no accident, the business was closed at the time of drop off. Not to mention when I contacted UHAUL Corp. they could not look up the supposed accident reports. This place is a JOKE!!!! I have left several messages requesting a call back about this "supposed" damage, with none to date. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy!!!!! Piss Poor Service & Fraudulent claims of damage(prolly to make a quick $$ of the Safemove Insurance I added)......If your looking to rent a U-Haul DO NOT USE THE LOCKPORT STORAGE MALL!!!!! Take the ride to Gasport, or any other location!!!!! I give this place a seriously negative rating!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pick up location completed the rental process with only a one day rental. He did not have me scheduled for two day rental as I had indiciated on my online reservation. He also only gave me 30 miles for the one day. I did nto read the contract, my fault, and when uhaul called the next day confirming my return is when we found the booking error. Found the mileage error when I returned it and learned I had 150 miles over. I will read the contract fully next time and definitely use a different location as he never disucssed with me my mileage allocation costing me additional fees. I would never pick up at the end of the day as well as he was more interested in leaving than helping me.

When trying to call and talk to the employee at this location, he answers the phone "please hold for awhile". What the hell is that? I called back several tumes and I never did get to speak to him. I've worked in customer service for 37 years and would never say that to a customer! Poor service!!
