I would not recommend this location because it is not a U-Haul retail store. The U-Haul app is terrible and others have told me the same thing. Luckily the lady who runs this location was able to get there quickly and let me take the truck. Again, the app is worthless.Charles S.

The location schedule for my return was schedule to be closed, and in fact was which is fine, but the app didn't work right when submitting picture of odometer, which i don't think is necessary considering they can look at it when checking fuel., so I got charged for an extra two days, then had to spend an hour on the phone with various people to get the charges corrected.STEPHEN H.

Provide help attaching a very heavy tongue on a trailer hitch. A jack similar time one used on boat trailers would be useful.Francis S.

One of the easiest returns I've experienced. As I pulled into the storage lot, the gate opened automatically. Easy to find a spot to park. Then, I walked into the office and the manager asked if I had any issues with the truck. I responded â€œnot at all...everything worked as expected and the truck rode great! Handed her the keys and said she'd take care of the rest. I was in and out in less than 3 minutes!!!Rodney S.
My rental of the unit was flawless and the service rep Amber was great. It was a 1 day rental but the location is closed on Sunday and Monday. I returned the rental with the gate code provided. However I was charged 3 days rental when they opened on Tuesday.AMBER DAWN M.

Uhaul needs to re-evaluate their mileage charts. I picked up the truck in a large metropolitan city, San Antonio, and drove direct to my home in Corpus Christi. It was 173 miles to my home. Another 10 miles back to the nearest drop-off location. My over-mileage is less than 10%. To charge me $7.35 for over-mileage is frankly, Chicken Shit!DAVID M.

The manager was great. I was a little disappointed that when I showed up, they only had two dozen furniture pads instead of the three dozen that I requested. I had requested a 26 foot truck, after all. But as we talked another truck was dropped off and I was able to get the extra dozen pad as I had requested.LANCE C.

Location and proximity to navy base is good, however the Area where truck and trailer were parked was tight, difficult to hook up auto transport, then maneuver out of spot. Was not offered assistance hooking up auto transport. Clerk stated didn't know how, but agreed to help direct alignment of hitch. Cab of truck was not clean, reeked of cat urine. No warning or apologies before I even accepted the truck, first noticed when I opened the cab, hard to Believe this wasn't noticed by staff before renting.DANIEL D.

The Trailer lights didn't work once I turned on my lights. I made contact with Uhaul road side; however, no one showed up causing me to spend the night in Robstown and travel back in the Morning. No refund or discount was off.Aaron H.
The only caveat to the "Excellent" ratings I've given is returning an auto transports has the potential of being somewhat dangerous as traffic exiting the expressway is moving fast. Several times traffic became to close to my F150 Super Crew for comfort. It would be nice to be able to pull in, disconnect the trailer, continue on and exit. I was told by the U-Haul operator that customers have dropped off rentals in the parking lot next door, a NO NO as it is not owned by U'Haul. In closing the operator - Rene - was very helpful, courteous, and accommodating. First time customer of U-Haul.arthur B.

At this Location there is nothing that needs to be improved. Excellent customer service! Would have been a much more pleasant experience if U-Haul had sent me to this location first but unforgettably I was sent to the one on North Chaparral and received the worst customer service I have ever experienced at any establishment. Location was closed, called and asked what to do with the trailer and they said to leave it outside the gate. I revived a call from U Haul 4 days after drop off to ask if I was going to drop off the trailer. Been waiting on hold for 8 min while I type this to try to ensure that the trailer got checked in....... Poor customer service.....Danny R.

I think the lady was a new employee. There was a lot of trouble in getting the account closed because the trailer was mistakenly marked as local and not a one way rental. The lady tried her best to correct the issue but for some reason it wasn't cleared for weeks after I had returned the trailer.Jeff C.

Kathy was very friendly, and tried to help us, but being first time users of uhaul, I suggest that you have someone who knows about the trailers do this job. We took our trailer to the uhaul store, and were told that Kathy did not show us the proper way to hook up our uhaul. It was very dangerous, and what if we would have traveled 10 hours like that. Secondly, the trailer has to be manually picked up and put on the truck, thankfully I took a friend with me otherwise, I would have not been able to get my uhaul. Very poor design.Najjala G.

Difficulty in finding location, even using GPS. Need to replace the small sign with a much larger one so that it will be easier to find the store. Also no help from the clerk for equipment hook up. She said that she was told not to assist with equipment hook up. All other U-Haul facilities assist with hooking up the trailer to the vehicle. I could have receive a ticket from the Police or could have had an accident without because of lack of advice from the clerk (attendant)Mumtaz A.
