Our pick up location was changed to this site. Very friendly. We took the truck and drove it to our hotel and parked overnight. The next morning the battery was dead. The passenger's door handle was broken(which Tire King was aware of prior), the front window still had tape from being replaced. Aluminum tape on corners of grandma's attic and cab interior dash board was filthy and sticky. Contacting service was aggravating. The Lady thought it would be no problem driving this defective vehicle cross country after a jump. Even with key out of the ignition their was a short turning things on and off. We lost 8 hours in moving process waiting around for help and than a road worthy vehicle that turned out available at our first choice of pick up.

I showed up to pick up the U-Haul and was told the person that Does rentals was out on a repair call. I waited 30 minutes and the gentleman had still not returned so I left my name and number requesting a callback so I could come pick up my U-Haul. Two hours later I get a call from the U-Haul representative asking why I had not picked up my truck. I explained to them the situation they called the store to see what was going on and inform me that the gentleman was back in the store and I could pick up my rental. I asked why I never received a call back and the answer was I was busy so I didn't call you. I find that totally unacceptable. I lost three hours of truck time which caused me to return the truck after hours and incur an extra $20 fee all of this simply because only one person could do the rentals and they decided it was not important to tell me I could come pick up my vehicle very disappointed with my experience

I would have liked to have returned the U-Haul to a closer location but it wasn't offered. When I did return the employee informed me I could have returned to any location the city. I had to pay $6 extra for going over the mileage when I wouldn't have had to had I known this. Please inform customers of this. I had to go way out of my way and pay extra. Doesn't seem right!

After finalize the rental I was told the trailer was on the lot somewhere and that I could go find it and hook up to it and go. Once I found the trailer, hooked up and did my safety check I found the passenger side taillight and blinker did not work. I informed the business of my problem. They told me to hook up to another trailer and they would correct the paperwork. Once hooked up I checked inside the trailer and found it to be dirt. There were small pieces if sheetrock and tile in the trailer, it was never swept out. I was moving my daughter home from college so I had to clean it out myself. I took pictures if U-haul would like to see. They never gave me new paperwork with information on the new trailer I was taking. The new trailer information was never updated until a representative of U-Haul had to call them.

Arrived at appointment time, didn't get helped right away as we do pay for the truck for a certain amount of time so time is working against us. 46 mins later and a customer car later, I finally get the truck to only be told there's no appliance dolly available. I ask for furniture pads, none available. I would only rent from here if the truck is the only thing needed otherwise steer clear.

I am a 4'10” 53 year old female that was by myself picking up a 6x12 trailer and was told to drive around back and hook it up myself. First it was not jacked up off the ground so there was no way possible for me to even pick it up by myself. Second to have to pick up and attach it it takes 2 people on to left it and on to back your vehicle. If there was not a nice man that saw me crying and about to kill myself and helped me I would not have been able to do it. When I returned it David the owner told me to do the exact same thing to disconnect it. Same thing again you need 2 people. Once again someone saw me and helped me. This person should not be allowed to rent U-Hauls.

I used the app to return the vehicle. The app instructed me to check my belongings, park the vehicle, drop the key in the box and go. I did it. It was in the night about 9:30 pm. No human interaction. The next morning the location opened at 8:00 and at about 8:10 I received the email that the vehicle was returned. That was good. Hope they remain good like this all the time.

I was told my total would be $84 and bound to change after i returned the uhaul if i went over the mileage or didn't fill up with gas. i was charged $112 and my receipt says i should've been charged $102. I returned the uhaul with more gas in it then i was given with it.

When I went to pick up the truck they were having computer issues, but he was super nice and we were all patient and was able to get things going. I dropped it back off and they were friendly.

Noone answered the phone when I called ...repeatedly. Noone was behind the counter for service. When someone showed up and asked if he could help he said just a minute...20 more minutes passed by before someone else showed up. He spent several minutes on a computer and his phone then said a receipt had been emailed to me. I looked at the receipt on the way back to my vehicle and noticed I was overcharged for an extra day. I went back in to inquire. Same scenario as before...Noone was behind the counter, so I waited approximately 5 mins then went into the shop and shouted for some assistance. I was told someone would be right with me...10 more mins passed by before the guy who previously sent a receipt showed back up. I showed him my original contract and he agreed that I was over charged but told me to call the 800# because he couldn't help me.

Had a tire that blew on the highway and caused me to miss an important deadline. Repair guy said he had not seen such an old tire in a long time. Should have been replaced before. So very dissatisfying with the rental although the people at the pick up location were excellent

Went to pick up a different truck at another location and the truck was not available. Uhaul tried to send us 53 miles out of our way to pick up a truck. After 2 hours on the phone and multiple times calling we were able to get a truck at The Tire King.

The person intentionally made me stand there and wait for a really long time for absolutely no reason, just because he could, even to the point of awkwardness. Horrible customer service, not nice at all. Plus, he said it was clean and had me sign that it was before I had seen it. The cab was full of old napkins and trash from the last person, so I don't think they cleaned it at all.
