U-haul truck was dirty. Engine sounded like it’s going to break down. The staff charged me insurance coverage without letting me know. I dropped off the key in the box at the night but they charged me an extra day. The fuel adjustment is not correct. I had horrible experience with this location.
ZHOU LTruck was filthy and poorly maintained - passenger seatbelt didn’t work, dash light said “service airbag” there was no odometer so I could verify mileage - worst U-Haul experience I’ve ever had
STEPHEN KExtremely slow and lacked the knowledge necessary to process my reservation in a timely manner. Additionally, be careful to understand that if you sign up for a window of time, you will be charged for an additional rental period if you go over. While I am OK with that policy, the item to note is that they are do NOT give you credit for the time spent dealing with the rep who cannot process your reservation in a timely manner. I lost 25 mins because they did not know what they were doing even after I completed the online check in process. When I returned it 19 mins past the 2 PM deadline, I was charged for an additional rental period and therefore did NOT get the 4 hours I originally paid for. When I explained the situation and requested a refund they refused to engage.
DAMON FI requested to rent from a location closest my to my house. That location did not have trucks the size I needed and was referred to a second location. I asked to have the truck delivered to the location I intended to rent from but was told that is not an option. I was told I would have to rent from another location that was twice as far from my original request. I drive past two other uhaul location in my way to the one I was referred to.

PAULETTE BThe equipment was great. I did have some concerns: - When I made a reservation, I booked 4 hours from 1PM. After that the location changed the reservation to 3 hours without telling me, I noticed via automated email from U-haul. I called U-haul customer service, and changed back to 4n hours. - Then I visited the office, they told me that my reservation was 3 hours. I told them that I had 4 hours. They said the just bring back within 4 hours. I had a big suspicion about the location at that point. - After I returned the vehicle, they sent me a final receipt. The cost was much more than I anticipated. I am not sure if they charged something extra.
DAISUKE SAt check-in I discovered that I had mistakenly made my reservation for pm instead of am. The clerk offered me an alternative vehicle without hassle and canceled my original reservation.
William PSo this might reflect poorly in the location venue which it is not but the vehicle was left in a pretty poor state. The guys had to sweep the back out as it was leaves and garden debris. The cab has not been cleaned for aged and there were dog pellets in the cab and the weed vape cartridge was left in the dash. Also the dolly and the hand cart was just left loose in the back so I had to stop and secure it.

ALEXANDER KIt was the first time I had seen a u haul at a mini mart but rental and pickup was fast and easy. The gas station next door made the return a snap.
JUANITA MSelf check in and out was most difficult - did not function properly at check in.. Attendant dialect was very difficult to comprehend.
Mark F+don't charge people for services they decline (safemove) +don't try to charge people two rental periods for a 7 hour 55 minute rental +don't try to charge people for not returning blankets when your staff didn't count them upon pickup +don't email receipts to customers phone that is so small it can't be read, and can't be zoomed +don't rig your website so the receipt can't be opened from PC (connection error, from two different PC's)

ABD-ALRAHMAN SReally appreciated getting an almost-new, clean truck. After a glitch with U-haul changing my pick-up location to one very far away, they were able to move me instead to this one, which was right near where I was loading the truck. The clerk was polite, friendly, and helpful.

CURTIS AVery convenient. Easy check-in. Very nice owners of the gas station...and, yet, it's a bit jarring to pick up a U-Haul at a random gas station to drive across the country. In the end, everything was great - i just want to be honest about what was going through my mind as I picked up the U-Haul for a very long trip.
Anthony WThe persons helping us said maybe 2 things to us. The truck was FILTHY! The amount of dirt inside and the dead bugs on the windshield were u believable. I don’t feel I should’ve had to clean the car before using it. Very very disappointing. I am also not happy that I was told my place of reservation did not have any available and yet I passed 2 U Haul lots to get to this gas station. Not a great way to handle customers. :(

Jeshua CThe booking made it seem like this would be contactless pick up, however I had to go into a gas station to pick up the keys. This took more than 15 minutes which cut into my rental time. Additionally there was trash left in the vehicle by the last renter. Lastly, upon return, the website indicated that I would need to take pictures of the van and answer some questions. But when I proceeded to the next step online it just told me to drop off the keys and left no where for me to upload pictures. I am worried that if there is no way for me to submit pictures of the vans conditions after my return, then I can be held liable for any damage that happened after I returned the keys. Since there is no way to prove that it did not happen during my rental. I found that extremely frustrating.
McCall LVan indicated need for air in two tires, and an oil change. Left rear turn signal didn’t work. The app would not let me check in the van. The overall check in and check out process at dealers needs improvement, as does the app.

Michael SThe U-Haul truck is not safe to drive because the break is mal-functioned. The roadside assistance team couldn't get it fixed. The customer service couldn't get a replacement truck for me. I had to leave with empty handed after 2 hours of my life has been wasted there.

steve hThe light that indicates low tire pressure left rear tire when I started the engine. I asked the renter what I should do. He said he didn’t know and pointed me to a place to put in air. I asked for help. He didn’t care. I took it to a different UHaul dealer. They filled the tire. It was 20 lb low! He was the worst! You’ll lose customers with this guy.
DAVID BUpon arriving, the worker had checked in someone else under my reservation. I began receiving texts and emails verifying mileage and amount in gas take before arriving to location. When I spoke with the man at the store he said that it was a mistake that he checked in someone else under my reservation. I had to make another reservation and still he had to call U-Haul to get another truck. Time was wasted and it was a bit frustrating that it took about 30 minutes to even get a truck. Definitely would be going to a different location next time I decide to rent a truck.

Jadran MThe whole experience started off poorly when my reservation for a 10 foot truck was relocated to a different location than i had hoped to reserve. I received a call the night before my reservation date, informing me the truck i ordered was not available at the location i requested and they needed to change it. This gas station i was supposed to pick up the truck at was being attended by a man named George. He was a very unhelpful employee and made the whole experience an absolute nightmare. He wasted my time, letting me think he had no access to the truck keys when he had them the whole time. Making the pickup process take over an hour. Calling and getting disconnected from assistance because phone service is terrible in this location. When I finally picked up the vehicle, it was on a quarter tank of gas. Later to find out the tank had been tampered with and gas had been stolen. Roadside assistance was needed to fix the hole that was drilled into the gas tank. We drove on the highway with gas pouring out of the bottom of the vehicle. My parents following us noticed the large amount of gas falling onto the highway. Lastly the gas station did not have the dolly and other moving equipment I paid for. I was not able to use those items, which would have been VERY helpful in the moving process. I'm a pretty understanding person and I get it when things happen, but in all honesty the man working at the gas station on Military Road in Federal Way Washington, George, does not have a clue on how to handle your customers. He's incredibly rude and untrained. He made an already stressful experience 10 times worse than it should have been. I hope nobody ever has to experience this unpleasant man again while using the uhaul service.
Anthony AService rep was one of the most useless employees I've ever dealt with. First off they didn't know they even had the truck which was parked outside, then they could not locate the furniture dolly I also rented. After 20 minutes they finally found the dolly. The entire check-in process took over 30 minutes (the last location I visited was under 3 minutes and super easy). Employee said I needed to check my email and click the "I have the keys" button which 1: didn't exist and 2: I've never had to do on any previous rentals. He asked for my ID then proceeded to take photos of my ID on his phone, which was sketchy to say the least. Van was dirty inside and out, and the parking brake release was broken, which I didn't notice until I tried to use it. I will never use this location in the future.
