The truck was very old. the window knob would pop off when trying to roll the window up or down. This truck had a lot of cosmetic damage as well. When we got in the truck, it smelled heavily of smoke. The ladies at This and That are very friendly.

About 10 minutes into the trip I started having issues with it. I phoned the location and told them of the issues. They didn't know what to do and had no extra truck to offer me so I could drive something safely. And of course, I was charged full price.

carol tI live on the boarder of central and eastern time . I had the camper back in central time, on time, where I was delivering the items using the trailer. Delivering the trailer back to eastern time. I was automatically charged another day . I was less than an hr late because of that reason.

JAMES FI rented a $19.99 Uhaul was suppose to have had a dolly but there wasn’t one there but was charged for it . Coming from nicholasville to Lexington back to Nicholasville twice my 19.99 uhaul ended up being over $170 dollars

JOSEPH MStaff was very helpful assisting me with fixing my problems resulting from UHaul's lack of detail on their website, apparently I didn't have my profile completed which meant I needed to finish it with their rental representative on site (something that should have been flagged from the website when I scheduled the rental or at least something I could have been told by the UHaul representative that called me the day before to reschedule me to this location.) This & That made sure to walk out with me to my truck to make sure everything was in order.
Cody HI thought the cabin was clean when I checked it out, but there was something spilled in the cup holder that was gross and sticky. Also, it seemed the truck had a hard time changing to the next gear. But the pick up and drop off was easy. During drop off, the app kept closing out on me and wouldn't work well, but the location was great.

Terri NThis and that was awesome. Helpful. Friendly. But the latch on the truck kept getting stuck and I injured my hand a couple of times while trying to get the latch loose from the trailer roof. I had to stick my fingers up inside to release it from the roof where it would get stuck. Pinching my fingers and the side on my hand.

Stephen MMy confirmation said a 10AM pickup but the establishment wasn't open until noon. After spending 30 minutes trying to get through to UHaul they were able to set up immediate pickup for a truck that was 11 foot larger than what I ordered and it contained none of the supplies ordered. I ended up leaving the pickup location at 11:30; losing 1.5 hrs of my moving time.
John SI specifically reserved an at-counter pick-up, and I chose a location that was open at 8:30. When I got to this location, they were closed and not answering the phone. I called U-Haul, and they told me this location doesn't open until 10:30. I had to then create an account, download the app, and try to do the virtual pick-up option. The app wasn't working and this whole process took over an hour of our allotted moving time. It was so frustrating! I reserved an at-counter pick-up to avoid anything like this delaying us. Also, we reserved a dolly that was not in the truck, which drastically affected our ability to move heavy items.

shirley aMy frustration with my truck breaking down is not with the rental location or U Haul itself, but with the person who rented the truck before me. He left his contract in the truck so I knew he was local based on the mileage estimation and his address. He should have reported mechanical issues with the truck when he returned it! This and That were great and extremely apologetic . U Haul’s customer service was negatively impacted by computer system outage, but finally the truck was fixed and I was on my way again. Thankfully, I rented the truck to use locally for several days and did not have anything loaded in it or my day could have been much worse.
