This is the best and only place I would rent from. I booked my rental. Management from the westside wrote me late on a Saturday after I had made the reservation and it was confirmed a month+ in advance. They changed my pick up location and the woman I spoke with she told me it wasn’t that much further for me to go. Lucky for me Doug at Thomas Auto in Grandview said that might happen and if it did he would pick it up for me. What a guy. That’s customer service. I then spoke with a guy named William and he said that that would work. I literally would have cancelled with u haul for their attitude. Good thing they have a guy like Doug around. I wouldn’t rent from anyone else. He got me the truck, made sure it was gassed and clean and even adapted when the movers I had booked called very last minute to confirm and changed the time I had wanted them to an hour earlier. I went in to talk with Doug the day of my rental and apologized but I needed the truck an hour earlier. He made it happen. This guy is a true gem. He could teach the rest of u haul folks what true customer service is. Book your u haul with him. You won’t regret it. Thanks Doug!,,

i had made a reservation in Ridgecrest Calif 3 weeks in advance to pick up a 12 foot trailer on July Friday 10. On Wednesday Jul;y 8 I recived a call from Fresno stating that there wasn't a trailer for me in Ridgecrest. I could pick on up in Calif. City. That is an hour and a half from where is was in Trona Calif. There was no offer for someone to go get the trailer for me. There was no offer to get me a discount for having to travel farther to pick up the trailer. I had alread driven 1,200 miles from Washington to pick up the trailer that was promise to me in Ridgecrest. I took pictures of the trailer. I noticed that one of the tires was in very poor shape. This tire fell apart between Battle Mountain Nevada and Winnemucca Nevada. It tool 2 hours for Uhual road side service to get to me and change out the tire.I was only about 30 minutes away from Winnemucca Nevada. When i called Fresno about getting a refund of some kind from my time being wasted, I was told sorry. We don't do that. This has been the worse service I have ever has with Uhaul. In Washington if you make a reservation and they don't have one, they will go get one.

jeremy hAfter booking my reservation over 1week prior I received a phone call the evening before pick up letting me know my location for pick up had changed due to lack of availability and the closest location was 50 miles away. During a stressful time of moving I was very disappointed about the late notice and had to scramble to get a different ride to take me an hour away. Doug at the Grandview location was friendly and made the experience a positive one. By ask is that the corporate office does better!
