Cary HDerrick Tilley at Rockmart Rent to Own was as good as they always are. He’s the only person I ever deal with. But the Uhaul company itself well that’s a different story cause I did keep it a couple days longer than expected, But I did he right thing and called Derrick to inform him of this and later that day I got a phone call from UHaul saying if I didn’t return the truck immediately they were gonna report it stolen and have my thrown in jail, what the heck was going on so I called and got it taken care of and the lady I talked to from UHaul well she wasn’t very friendly at all, not mean or smart but kinda sarcastic. Always check ur mileage on the UHaul before leaving the rental place also. But at the end of the day the truck was nice with hood cold air

Jocelyn ATilley’s Home Furnishings helped me tremendously and was willing to be flexible and responded to my needs in a more than timely fashion. Didn’t know until the last minute when my Marine son would be returning from overseas deployment and when I got his text informing me of his arrival time, I was really pushed for time and opportunity to haul his car to him. Thanks to U-Haul, he has his car and all is well!!

Kay HThe truck I rented was horrible. The pick-up location told me the Air Conditioning did not work in the truck. It being in the mid 70's for the weekend I had it, I thought that would not be a problem. But because the engine is right under your feet, the heat was coming up through the engine cover in the floor, making the cab terribly hot. The window crank on the drivers side was operable, but broken, so it made it difficult to open and close the window. The brakes squeaked a little when I picked the truck up, but were squeaking constantly when I dropped it off. The battery seemed to be weakening every time I started it, with the last time being the worst. It barely startred. My suggestion would be to retire this truck. Definitely not an enjoyable experience.

ann bLights didn't work in the back, light was missing in the overhead, there was trash inside the truck, and the truck sounded like it wasn't going to start almost every time I tried to start it.
Fermin ROur initial pick up location was supposed to be at the BP on Burnt Hickory Road. When we arrived, the clerk said "We have a problem, the lights on the dolly do not work". He referred us to the Rockmart location. The dolly we were given did not have the spring loaded clip to secure the ramp in place when traveling. We had to improvise and tie the ramp in place to travel with it. Both locations did not maintain their equipment. Their negligence put us over 2 hours behind schedule.

MARK ESeems every time I use U-Haul there is a reason for y’all to extract another hundred dollars from my account. I’m sure it’s “justified”..... I think I’ll just rent a dumpster next time

Kenneth NNot happy with how this was arranged. I made reservation 5days ahead. Then the day before I found out I had to go past 2open blocations to the next town and the place was closed. I got there 20 minutes early so Inwaited thinking the owner would show up since it had been arranged ahead early of time. I called the phone number on the note and didn't get an answer. I called the place I made reservations and he gave me another number to call. So after all the other stuff I had to go thru to get the vehicle it cost me about 2 hours of the day just to get the truck.
